Life Simulator: Make the Female Demon Regret Her Life

144: Chapter 144 Is Saya a Dead Person?Blood Moon City is located in the northern part of Fusang Country. Although the place is not large, it is very densely populated. Tens of thousands of people live here. Dressed in a physician’s robes and carrying a large medicine chest, you move through the crowd like a barefoot doctor, walking into the village to treat those in need.

You never charge a fixed fee for medical treatment; you charge more for wealthy families, less for the poor, and provide free treatment to those who cannot make ends meet.

No matter the complexity of the illness, it can be cured through your Acupuncture.

In just a few days, you have cured about 500 people and collected hundreds of taels of silver.

Your medicine is running low, so you carry the empty medicine chest back to Matsushita Sanatorium and hand the earned silver to Red Beard.

Seeing so much money, Red Beard is very surprised, almost doubting whether you had robbed it. You explain the different charging standards to him.

”Su-san, that is correct, it should be done that way!”

Red Beard laughs and agrees.

Su Fan is somewhat worried about Shaya, so he asks Red Beard, ”Is Shaya doing well lately?”

Red Beard says, ”She had another episode of madness, and A-Xin was injured by her. Sigh, I really failed her father. I should have brought her here for treatment last year... By the way, she has been waiting for you to return... Do you want to go see her?”

”Waiting for me?”

Su Fan suddenly remembers promising to treat her a few days ago and realizes with an ”Oh,” ”That’s right, I promised to treat her. I’ll go now!”

After speaking, Su Fan arrives at her secluded courtyard and sees that the door is locked, with A-Xin guarding the entrance.

A-Xin’s hand is wrapped in gauze, clearly bandaged after being injured by Shaya.

”A-Xin, I am here to treat Shaya.”

After Su Fan speaks to A-Xin, A-Xin immediately unlocks the door for him.

After Su Fan enters the room, A-Xin seems a bit scared and dares not follow him in, only daring to guard from outside the door.

”Shaya... Shaya...”

The room is somewhat dim, and Su Fan does not know where Shaya is hiding, as she is neither in the bedroom nor the living room, so he calls out softly...

Strangely, he uses his Divine Sense to probe, but he cannot detect her at all, even though the room is not large and Shaya possesses no cultivation.

Just as he is puzzled, Shaya suddenly appears behind him and gently taps his shoulder, ”Su-san... you’ve come?”

Su Fan turns around, startled.

She looks terrifying right now; her eyes are glowing with a red light, and although there is a smile on her face, it is chilling...

But she seems completely unaware of it, instead reaching out and making a gesture of ”please” to invite Su Fan to sit.

Seeing the red light in her eyes fade slightly, Su Fan feels relieved and sits down.

However, he is still puzzled as to why he could not detect her presence with his Divine Sense just now.

Logically speaking, even an expert in the Spirit Transformation Realm should have been detectable within such a small area...

What secret is Shaya hiding?

What kind of strange thing is on her body?

As he thinks this, Shaya brings over a cup of tea and some snacks, asking him gently, ”Su-san, are you hungry?”

Seeing Su Fan pick up the tea to drink, she continues, ”I heard that you have been treating many people these past few days and have earned a lot of silver. You really are a great hero here!”

”Shaya... shall I begin your physical examination?”

Su Fan has absorbed a vast amount of knowledge on Acupuncture and has also mastered other medical arts through self-study, possessing some understanding of inspection, listening, questioning, and pulse-taking, so he wants to first see what exactly is wrong with her body.

”How will you examine me? Do... do I need to take off my clothes?”

Shaya asks in a low voice, a shy blush quietly appearing on her pretty face.

”Not for now... sit down first, I will take your pulse first...”

Su Fan has her sit down, preparing to take her pulse.

Shaya sits gracefully on the chair but seems a bit distracted, as if ruminating on Su Fan’s words, ”Not for now”...

Not for now, which means later, she seems very shy.

Su Fan, however, does not think much of it and places his hand on her wrist to begin taking her pulse...

However, the moment he touches her wrist, Su Fan is stunned...

Heavens, she has no pulse!!!

In an instant, it feels like his mind explodes!

She actually has no pulse!!!

Seeing Su Fan’s expression change drastically.

Shaya looks at him and asks, ”Su-san, what is wrong? Is there a problem?”

Su Fan does not intend to hide it from her and tells her the truth, ”Strange, there is actually no pulse...”

”Su-san, what does pulse mean?”

Su Fan explains to her, ”A pulse is the pulsation of an artery. It is the same as a heartbeat. If a person does not have one, it means they are in shock or dead...”

After speaking, he places his hand on Shaya’s wrist again.

Confirming it again, there really is none.

”Then what about a heartbeat?”

Shaya does not seem surprised that she has no pulse, but looks at Su Fan quietly, ”Su-san, help me check my heartbeat... will you?”

Su Fan has no stethoscope, and this world has no such thing as a stethoscope. If he wants to measure a heartbeat, he can only touch it with his hand...

Thinking of this, his expression becomes slightly serious, ”Young Miss Miyamoto, if I am to measure your heartbeat, please forgive my rudeness...”

Shaya gives a soft ”Mm” and nods, then walks gently in front of him, taking his hand and pressing it to her chest...

Su Fan’s first sensation is not how soft it is, but...

She also has no heartbeat!!

In other words, Shaya is actually a dead person!?

But that is not right, Demon Ghosts in this world all have cultivation!

If a Demon Ghost were controlling her body, he would be able to detect it...

Why does her body possess no cultivation, yet she can erupt with such terrifying power, and furthermore, have no pulse and no heartbeat?

And yet, she is standing alive right in front of him.

How could she be a dead person!?

Su Fan cannot figure it out.

”Su-san... Su-san...”

Shaya calls out several times before Su Fan snaps back to reality.

He suddenly thinks, if Shaya is truly dead, or if something inside her body is blocking her life force, then using silver needles infused with fire-attribute Spiritual Qi and inserting them into her body might force out the evil entity inside her...

”Shaya, I am going to use Acupuncture now to regulate your body... it won’t hurt.”

Su Fan says gently to Shaya.

Shaya smiles sweetly, ”Su-san is so gentle!”

”...Can you take off your clothes?”

After Su Fan asks this, Shaya is slightly stunned, then bites her lip, slowly reaching out to untie her kimono sash. With her gentle movements, the kimono slides to the floor...

However, Su Fan’s mind is not on her body at this moment, but on inserting 108 silver needles into the main Acupoints of her upper body...

”Su-san, this is the first time I have shown myself like this to someone, I am so shy...”

Shaya’s body trembles slightly, as if she is a bit afraid.

But Su Fan says to her gently, ”Next, please forgive my rudeness...”

”Su-san... are, are you going to do something to me?”

Shaya’s tone is panicked.
