Paragon Of Sin

Chapter 1967 Chapter 1959: Creationists of Order (2)

The Battlefields were all located within Chaos Realms. These uniquely constructed realms were specifically designed to be seemingly hostile to cultivators, damaging their cultivation base and health through their abnormally suppressive environment. That was often oneʼs initial understanding, and even Wei Wuyin had believed that to be the case during his earlier participation.

However, that was far from the truth; Captain Zun had alluded to such through his descriptions, but hadnʼt explicitly stated its extensive effects. The most important thing was that the conditions were a trial, not just restrictive, suppressive, and hostile for the sake of it. It was a critical factor for cultivation. It was only after Wei Wuyin arrived at the Heavenly Realm of War that he sensed the similarities. It not only assisted the digestion of alchemical products, war souls, and materials, allowing a significantly greater refinement speed through an external force, but the deprivation of oneʼs cultivation base brought them closer to the Battlefieldʼs premier condition to develop, cultivate, or immerse oneself in the purest form of war.

A trial.

A tribulation.

A tempering.

All self-inflicted by oneʼs own will to fight for opportunities amidst dangers. Countless lives were lost. A grinder of war. Only the best of the best and the luckiest of the lucky could thrive, but merely surviving was enough to elevate oneʼs prospects.

Wei Wuyin knew that Zi Fu, that female Titan, sought an opportunity to become a Spiritualist via an Elixir of Spiritualism offered by the Onestar Galaxyʼs Galactic Zonesʼ Alchemist. She desired War Souls for this, and Wei Wuyin had not only granted her War Souls but added alchemical products of his own concoction to assist.

Throughout his journey within the Stellar Battlefield of War, Wei Wuyin was never exposed to the Stellar Battlefield of Order, not even sensing a single Alchemist or Creationist in general. While his stint on the Stellar Battlefield was rather short, the galactic exchange of War Souls for products only birthed further questions.

Ancient Zenith actively recruited two specialized units for the Battlefield of Order & War, specifically a combat unit and an alchemic unit, for her War Soul accumulation mission. Her last-ditch effort as supreme-level forces across the stars was stimulated by the faint whispers of the Last Daospark.

For an existence on par with Athena.

And the most prominent question was: ”What was the Battlefield of Order? What does it entail?” He had received detailed explanations as the information became readily available through several channels, trickling down to countless forces who were invigorated by the potential to participate and snatch fortune from the jaws of danger.

It was another battlefield, equally as bloody and viciously brutal.

But it was not a simple battlefield.

Not at all.

And among this information were whispers of its origins lingering in the undercurrents of rumors, myths, and legends. It was said that the Battlefield of Order & War was the effort of one of the four Primeval Clans alongside other supreme forces. They were vague and indistinct in written history, but at his level, he was able to acquire information. Additionally, Suo Kai-Ming had once gazed deeply into his eyes while whispering strange mutterings on how ʼextraordinaryʼ his primeval bloodline was as she climbed on and rode to greater pleasures.

However, their names were as unspoken as the true names of certain existences. Even Suo Kai-Ming only knew them as the Primeval Clans, and her actions were brief, deliberately mentioned to gather his reaction and probe the response. Unfortunately for her, his response was rather lukewarm. That said, delving a little further into both the name and the Battlefiel Order & War, he only knew of two names: Spartan.

Magi.

And he was only certain that Magi were a part of the three primordial existences pre-dating the universe itself— Creation. He suspected Wei Siʼs origins, the Spartans, were a part of Security. Yet that begged the question: if there were four Primeval Clans and only three forces existing before the universeʼs creation, then what was the fourth?

However, regardless of what that answer was, this allowed him to realize that the ʼOrderʼ in Battlefield of Order & War had links to these clans, and that the Heavenly Daos was fully aware of his existence as a Magi. Not only had it given him the opportunity after his abrupt blindness, ensuring that within its far-seeing machinations, his existence wouldnʼt clash with theirs, but it also intended for him to garner advantages amidst great potential danger. A key factor of his identity as an Exploitative Blessed.

Upon learning these details, he was immediately cautious; his first move was to activate his Alchemic Stars of Unparalleled Creation, hiding his Celestial Eyes of Spiritual Divinity, directly deactivating it for the first time in a long, long time. Back then, during his first entry, his Celestial Eyes had been crippled by the overwhelming surge of spiritual strength increased by his outrageous cultivation achievements.

While Wei Wuyin traveled through the Chaos Realm alongside Tilly Winehart, his thoughts were hyperactive. After his clash against Supreme Sages, especially against Superior Sages, he was aware that the Heavenly Daos could recalibrate its tools to measure gains and fortune. After all, it had siphoned a Karmic Skyʼs worth of Karmic Luck Value to orchestrate something within the Galactic Battlefield. He didnʼt know what, but he highly suspected that it had to do with the Primeval Clan behind this.

After all, his identity as a Magi was freely exposed back then. His irises were a distinct shade of silver that was immutably consistent and irreplicable. No Ocular Spell or physical modifications could get the shade correct, and even illusions lacked the unique charm it possessed. It was a color that existed before the universe was fully created, belonging to a spectrum exceeding the limits of this universe.

Originating from Her.

While Wei Wuyin was idly thinking, not even giving a second thought to the unlucky sinner that had lost his life, Tilly Winehart was quietly observing Wei Wuyin. His calm composure while traveling through the spatial shift was no false presentation. The turbulence of the shift was handled as if it were flat ground.

”This isnʼt your first time here, is it?” She asked, already knowing the answer. She was an Entry Moderator, so she was tasked with preventing repeaters. Wei Wuyin had the designation of a soldier. The only curious thing was the short time between then and now. Moreover, he was a part of a different division.

Wei Wuyin calmly smiled, honestly replying: ”First time entering the Battlefield of Order.”

Tilly nodded. She wasnʼt normally biased on looks, but from Wei Wuyinʼs demeanor and actions thus far, he seemed to be the direct sort who was rather embedded with a good sense of pride, self-respect, and innate authority. ”Are you a practitioner of the Imperial Dao?”

”Keen eyes and gorgeous. A deadly combo you are. I am, in fact, an Imperial Cultivator with the creationist profession of an Alchemist,” Wei Wuyin admitted, simultaneously praising her with earnest words.

”Haha! Donʼt think flattery will get you anywhere,” Tilly grinned. ”You know, the Battlefield of Order has been growing increasingly chaotic recently. In fact, all the Battlefields have been stirring restlessly lately.”

”That makes sense,” Wei Wuyin commented as his gaze pierced the veil of the spiritual bubble they were enveloped in. Despite having his Celestial Eyes deactivated, his Spiritual Sense was frighteningly powerful. What he saw was the ongoing battles beneath him. Roars of agony, rage, and desperation unleashed without end. Lives were reaped. Lives were blessed. Lives were punished.

”What makes sense?” Tilly was confused.

”OH? Youʼre unaware of the hidden battle to accumulate War Souls. Thereʼs a clear uptick of participation, right? Everyone is seeking fortune. Word is spreading that War Souls are highly inflated in value as organizations are offering great treasures and rewards for them.”

”What?!” Tilly was shaken. She was unaware of this development. It struck her like lightning! ”No wonder!” All of the recent events, especially the rampant arrivals of new meat for the grinder, were making sense. This included the Stellar Battlefield. While it was mostly impossible to achieve, there was a slight chance to acquire the Last Daospark from the Stellar Battlefield and Ascendant Battlefield. Theyʼre tossing lives out there for a chance.

Wei Wuyin understood that the possibility of this occurring in the Stellar Battlefield was almost zero. He was already an astonishingly special exception. Not only were his War Soul rewards inflated due to his lower cultivation base, but he had also single-handedly defeated the Legion of War within the Nexus Battlefield as a Soldier, not a Commander. Despite that, he only earned enough to acquire two Heavenly War Spirits like Athena, each costing 5,000,000 War Souls.

Even if they gathered with the fierceness of demons in the hearts of their subordinates, they wouldnʼt be able to earn it. Not here.

”Then, are you aware of the rules of the Battlefield of Order?” Tilly asked. She seemed intent on establishing friendly relations. If anyone saw this, they would be quite shaken, given her cold-hearted and brutal spirit.

”A little. I can use a refresher course,” Wei Wuyin obliged by allowing her to do him a tiny favor. She immediately blossomed with vibrant energy. After calculating the time remaining before the shift ended and gathering her thoughts, she began to explain.

She informed that the Battlefield of Order was typically easier to avoid death. However, to establish oneself was extraordinarily difficult. To start, a Creationist, either an Alchemist, Forger, or Architect, could select two paths to traverse during their trial here. They were either United or Independent; United required the selection of a Squad, Company, Battalion, or Legion, while Independent was solo.

The United path connected oneʼs fortune with the Battlefield of War, while the Independent path set you only against your enemies. It was far harder to perform well in the former. The majority of Creationists became Independents, and they then formed groups of Creationists to pursue the dangers of the Battlefield of Order as a

team.

However, the United path was the best to achieve a greater accumulation of War Souls. It was simply not advised due to its high skill ceiling and how it can adversely affect your concoctions in critical moments. This was Ancient Zenithʼs intention. She sought to acquire the most War Souls despite the dangers! And she was gathering those blessed with fortune and skill, both with alchemy and in battle.

Su Yi, for example, was a War Blessed beyond a shadow of a doubt!

Wei Wuyin had declared the Neo-Byr Legion as his Legion, which meant he had selected the hardest difficulty from the jump, but amidst this highest difficulty was a chance for the greatest accumulation of War Souls!

Eventually, she finally got to the meat of the explanation! How the Battlefield of Order worked!

And that was simple: Clashes!

CLASHES!!

AND MORE CLASHES!!!
