Paragon Of Sin

Chapter 1808  - 1801: Void Soul?!.

Unaware of Wei Wuyinʼs thoughts, Yue Baoyue focused on Su Yi with all her heart and mind. Yet while she was focused wholeheartedly on that, the Arbiterʼs Inspection observed her. A stifling air infused the room, causing the expressions of the other players and Mystical Judges to experience slight changes in their expressions, either of shock, realization, or happiness. The last of which belonged to none other than Grand Seer Rippledark. The karmic ties of Su Yiʼs allies were followed without favoritism; Yue Baoyue was among those who were considered his allies. She was not excluded from the roving gaze of the Arbiterʼs Inspection. Su Yi noticed this immediately. Not only was Yue Baoyue subjected to its karma-discerning gaze, but that supreme figure that was protective of him, threatening Wei Wuyin with their presence, was also targeted alongside allies minor and major. Su Yi sensed only fifty-one percent of its pervasive focus. If Mythical Punishment was unleashed here, his other allies would find it difficult to withstand, likely dying in droves. After recalling Wei Wuyinʼs warning, he had a faint inkling that any chances to retrieve his Mythical Contract and destroy it were non-existent, so he was properly prepared to withstand the full punishment. However, his allies couldnʼt. Yue Baoyue was facing at least twelve percent of its focus alone. She had assisted him greatly during his younger years with items, tools, and alchemical products, and her mere presence and reputation as an independent alchemist with the grand prospects of becoming a future Heavenly Saint Alchemist!

With a gentle breath, Su Yi used a single hand to form a remarkably distorted hand-seal that was exceedingly difficult for those viewing to perceive or discern. A transcendent soul light that contained the essence of life, death, karma, and reincarnation manifested, exuding an exceedingly profound Unique Intent, formed the shape of a tiny sword hovered just before his glabella. A wisp of soul energy from his Mindʼs Eye flowed into it, layered by a thin shroud of golden Heavenly Radiance.

When the sword emerged, those with Soul Perception or a Fate Soul were instantly shaken. Grand Seer Rippledarkʼs mind was howling, ”Itʼs that sword!” ”Oh?” Wei Wuyinʼs spiritual sense caught signs of an incomparably terrifying fluctuation of power, raging through the Dark Void toward the Armored Boon Starfield, crossing boundaries of galaxies without caring for any obstruction. It was horrifyingly strong, pulsating with microdoses of heavenʼs might.

A Supreme Sage!

Then, those with sufficiently powerful senses saw a blazing comet the size of a dwarf-sized Solar Star blitz across the Dark Void at unprecedentedly unsettling speeds, rushing towards Su Yiʼs position with great urgency. The Arbiter had placed a solid twenty or so percentage of focus on this figure alone, justifying that in terms of karmic ties, the figure had helped Su Yi the greatest! BOOM!!!

A thunderous, heaven-rending, soul-tearing boom erupted that sent violent ripples across all of space, and time, screeching against the senses of souls, and pounding on the hearts of every living thing within a quadrillion-mile radius of its location, barely missing out on the Armored Boon Stellar Region by a small margin. The dwarf-sized comet was halted by a single figure; a woman in voluminous black robes held two violet-gold curved daggers that flowed with the aura of Laws, her upright stance was like an impregnable fortress, and she established an impassable wall that halted all advances with her resonant qi, drawing micro-traces of heavenʼs strength. She didnʼt say a single thing, yet her intent was clear: YOU SHALL NOT PASS! Su Yi was focused on executing his art. The tiny sword pulsed with soul light and its Unique Intent. Wei Wuyin was familiar with this Unique Intent—Samsara. The Samsara of the Stars was permeated with it, but it felt somewhat different. If the Samsara Intent of the Samsara of the Stars was composed of various Intents, then the Intent he was familiar with included Mortal Intent. This Samsara Intent felt incomplete, infused with fragmented Mystic Intent. Wei Wuyin was familiar with this fragmented type of Intent, as when he grasped Mortal Intent completely alongside the Mortal Daoʼs blessing and attainment of the Belt of Mortal Virtue, he had felt as if his Mortal Intent throughout his cultivation path was like this—fragmented. His Second Mind furiously observed through his Spiritual Sense and Celestial Eyes.

A single word screamed through the Dark Void, distorting celestial orbits, and piercing through all layers of space and flows of time making its transmission unstoppable, ”DONʼT!!!” The origin was none other than the dwarf-sized Solar Star that was halted by the Seers of the Nightʼs Supreme Sage. Su Yi briefly shifted his attention, seemingly gazing across a vast distance toward the Solar Star, and he smiled a smile so unrestrained that it felt as if it would never vanish, ”This is my battle.” Then, the tiny sword pulsed with a rapid, oscillating thrum. He declared a single word: ”All.” The sword merged into his chest, seeping into him like fine watery dew into dry dirt.

The focus of the Arbiterʼs Inspection immediately shifted. Yue Baoyue felt as if she could breathe. The allies scattered across the stars that were panicking and fearful felt as if they were pardoned of a great crime. The white-robed Su Yi stood there, a lone figure standing in the Dark Void. He cut an incomparably lonesome and heroic figure that dared to challenge the world without regret. The entirety of the Arbiterʼs focus had drawn to him as if he had summoned all karmic ties to his person. It was a profound action that bewildered viewers, yet they watched on. The vast majority of viewers were unable to understand what Su Yi had done, but those who did finally had a glimpse into his true origins as a reincarnated being, including clues as to how it was remotely possible to do so. He had exposed a great secret that would have cataclysmic, intergalactic-wide implications afterward. Should he survive, that is.

Wei Wuyin hadnʼt expected this, but he welcomed it with open arms. He could sense that the formerly silent aura of Heavenly Daos was gathering at a frightening rate upon Su Yiʼs body, no longer hindered by their opposition, ʼShow me more.ʼ If he had to guess from the karmic surge, he felt as if nearly a hundred thousand of Karmic Luck value was being rapidly exhausted here in an urgent, last-ditch frenzy.

After the shift of the Arbiterʼs focus, the verification of the oath and its violation or conditions was completed in the blink of an eye. The Mythical Punishment was about to be unleashed! Su Yi drew a translucent sword with an azure hilt. The blade glistened with misty prismatic light. He was a little emotional as he wielded this sword of his past life, ”Sword of the Transient Realm, shall we have another dance?”

A resonant sword hum echoed across the Dark Void! ”A Mystic-Heaven treasured sword!” Tianshi Ya exclaimed in surprise. The others were also taken aback by Su Yiʼs sword. Earlier in his fight with the Sage, he didnʼt unsheathe his sword, only relying on his hand to emulate a sword.

Mystic-Heaven graded items were extremely precious, far more precious than Heavenly Treasures. The Zenith Towers were Mystic-Heaven treasured artifacts, and they could draw upon the strength of the heavens directly. The difference between Mystic-Heaven treasures and Heavenly Treasures was the way they drew upon Heavenʼs strength. It was akin to the Heavenly Gate of cultivators versus the Authority of Laws.

The Authority of Laws allowed cultivators to move the inherent Laws of the heavensʼ Three Thousand Realms in accordance with their will, limited only by their understanding and bestowed level of authority, and it exhausted their soul energy to do so. They could summon Laws to act on their behalf, but the Authority of the Laws didnʼt allow one to use heavenʼs energy. Meanwhile, the Heavenly Gate allowed cultivators to gather heavenʼs energy, in the rudimentary form for Heavenly Saints as Heavenly Radiance, to empower themselves to stupendously god-like levels, reinforcing their cultivation base. The Heavenly War Spirit had repeatedly warned Wei Wuyin that Laws were an external power, not fully integrated into his cultivation base, and that he shouldnʼt rely on them during the early stages of his cultivation. Until a cultivator reached the Resonant Soul Realm, this remained true. A Mystic-Heaven graded treasure possessed genuine heavenly might, often tethered to a foundation that allowed it to emulate a realm of heaven. Still, most cultivators relied on Heavenly Treasures as they were easier to create, like forming a key, and could be used by anyone by possessing a strong enough soul. Wei Wuyin had seized control of the Endless Void Mirror due to this. Grand Seer Rippledark, however, was wide-eyed with excitement. ”He USED it!” Was his only thought, filled with a triumphant tone. He didnʼt care about the sword. He cared about the source that powered the spell that Su Yi used. Effectively, his original goal was half-complete. Even if Su Yi survived this, he wouldnʼt be able to sleep or rest comfortably from this day forth. In fact, greedy eyes were already manifesting across the Dark Void as Spiritual Senses descended. Wei Wuyin could sense the vicious desire within, even the Incandescent Star Palaceʼs Palace Lord was no exception. Before anyone could fully react, the Mythical Punishment descended!

A beam of prismatic light shrouded in gold arrived. Its origins? It felt as if the River of Time and the Initial Singularity, the grand manifestations of all time and space, were the launching point! It was impossible to tell from where or when only that it was here! Su Yi was incomparably calm as his face was bathed in the hue of this resplendent light. With his fourth-level Nascent Sword Soul imbued into the Sword of the Transient Realm in hand, he swung! It was a single swing, yet it carried his peerless Sword Intent and was backed by his entire cultivation base.

A swathe of sword light surged forth! The beam of light lancing across all of space, time, and heaven carried the strength of a conventionally-peak Microheaven Envoy! It was not to be underestimated!

And just like before, there was no grand explosion or violet booms. The white sea of sword light sliced at the prismatic light shrouded in gold of equal size. A brilliant burst of light scattered across the Dark Void for trillions of miles, as brief as a blink. When everyone regained their senses, their hearts pounded with a ferocious cadence as Su Yi stood there, his sword still in hand, his robes in tatters, and the surface of his sword-wielding arm had blood-spewing tears in his skin, leaking crimson blood that dripped with a searing hot temperature as if wanting to taint the scene in his hot-bloodied and incomparable spirit. He stood there.

Alive!

ALIVE!

The Sword of the Transient Realmʼs prismatic light was dim, its surface covered in a thin crack or two. However, the sword hum it released was unchanged in strength. In fact, it was roaring louder than before, teeming with excitement as sword light flowed beautifully around its blade. Su Yi could only smile as he felt the urge from his sword, and he lifted it to point at the Dark Void. ”Thatʼs all?” Two words.

Yet the hearts of everyone were moved! A Mystic Overlord had survived in a much better condition than a true Resonant Soul Realm expert of the Zenith Refinement Tower! The skinny female Supreme Sage was shaken to her core. What type of power was that? She felt a level of danger from Su Yiʼs sword light that faintly exceeded that prismatic beam she faced! How could a mere Mystic Overlord be so disgustingly strong?! And that sword! Was that the legendary Sword of the Transient Realm?! Her eyes were immediately besieged by memories of her past life, all the history books she read, and the stories that were told of her. Her heart was pounding, as did everyone else who recognized the blade, verifying Su Yiʼs past life!

After all, she used the Zenith Tower before! Yet it lost all its Mystic-Heaven properties, suffering devastating losses, yet the sword had survived, so its quality was incomparably higher! As if responding to Su Yiʼs provocative words, the second Mythical Punishment descended!

Su Yi faced it all the same. With sword in hand, he unleashed his all in a single strike! The sword light was greater in intensity as if it was forced into another level! He was stronger than a moment ago!

When the flash of light from their collision dispersed, Su Yi stood there, his back upright, his eyes calm, and his aura was unrestrained and sharp as a sword. He gave off a sense of eternity as he faced the tyrannical power that exceeded comprehension, like a true immortal.

”A Sword Immortal!” The words echoed across the Spiritual Network. Wei Wuyinʼs eyes glowed. Su Yi rubbed his nose, wiping off a stream of hot blood, and his sharp gaze stared into the Dark Void.

Yue Baoyueʼs eyes were wet. Her heart was besieged by concern yet there was a type of admiration and reverence developing in her heart, forever etching Su Yi as peerless across the starry skies.

”His Intent….” Young Master Shang was observing intently, and he felt as if Su Yiʼs Intent was evolving. Intent was an expression of will derived from the metaphysical existence of a Spirit of Cultivation, capable of using it to emulate the profound qualities of the heavens, such as using Water Intent to generate Water Qi or gathering the strength of existing energies of that nature, such as World Heart Intent, to can convert all forms of energy into that specific energy type.

It was a pervasive expression of spiritual will. It wasnʼt divided into three, but came in three forms: Seed, Awakened, and World Heart. Seed Intent was the nascent form, gathering the depth of oneʼs metaphysical comprehension. It allowed the conversion of internalized undefined energies and essences. This was how, during the Elemental Birth Phase, cultivators converted and harnessed the four basic or five advanced elements, emulating the elemental properties to be hot, cold, hard, or soft. Awakened Intent allowed the complete control of internalized energies and external energies of that type by imbuing itself within. World Heart allowed the conversion of externalized energies and essences. Unlike Worldly Domains, it didnʼt just control, but turned fire energies into water energies, rewriting the nature of things in a fantastically profound manner. Wei Wuyin used this to create Elemental Origin Energy and Essences that only existed in very rare circumstances, usually the genesis of a celestial phenomenon or within true celestial objects in scant amounts. The entire world was watching as Su Yiʼs Sword Intent was converting every essence and energy within his range of control into his Sword Energy to wield. Using his Sword Intent, he was leveraging a tiny portion of the worldʼs strength to fight! Heart of the World, World of the Sword Intent! Young Master Shangʼs eyes widened as he thought of a particular legendary achievement of cultivation. A level of cultivation of the will that was said to have been lost as no one in over a million years had produced it in the Treasured Vale Galaxy. The exception? His mother! He watched intently, and his heart began to rapidly thump. Su Yi stood there, sword light began to gather around his body, seeping out from the various dimensions of space and time, and even coming from all over…perhaps even…the Void! The very foundation of the universe! Su Yi stood there, sword light began to gather around his body, seeping out from the various dimensions of space and time, and even coming from all over…perhaps even…the Void! The very foundation of the universe! Soul of the Void, Void of the Soul Intent! VOID SOUL INTENT!!!
