Chapter 2457: Chapter 2457: Thought Yu Qi Followed Her

Long Hui was on the phone calling for someone after dinner. They needed to return to Binhai Nation since Yu Qi needed to go to work. She had been taking long vacation days already. So, he contacted the private jet management company to arrange the flight for tonight.

”We are going to leave for the next hour.” Long Hui said.

”The flight will be ready in one hour?” Yu Qi asked.

She knew that Long Hui would arrange a private jet because they had already called the airline for tonight’s flight, but every seat was fully booked.

”I will go and say something to others, telling them that we will leave now.” Yu Qi stated.

Yu Qi went to see Great-Grandpa Dian first. He was easy to find because he often spent his time at the training ground, teaching the disciples.

”Great-Grandpa Dian, we are going to leave now.” Yu Qi said.

”Oh... It is already too late. Why don’t you stay for another night?” Great-Grandpa Dian asked.

”I need to go to work tomorrow. So, I need to leave now.” Yu Qi stated.

”Is that so? Okay... Take care.” Great-Grandpa Dian nodded.

Then, Yu Qi went to see Grandpa Dian and Grandma Shu. They also asked the same thing. Yu Qi explained the same to them. As for others, Yu Qi would message them via text.

Great-Grandpa Dian told Yu Qi that he had ordered someone to drive them to the airport. The person dropped Yu Qi and Long Hui at the airport.

”Have a safe journey, Young Master Long, Young Miss Tang.” The person bowed to Yu Qi and Long Hui.

”Thank you.” Yu Qi nodded.

This scene had been watched by someone.

”Miss Mu, what are you looking at?” A woman asked.

She turned in the direction Mu Yian was looking. She could see a beautiful woman and a handsome man walking together. Her eyes lit up seeing such a good-looking couple.

”Wow... Who are they? Are they celebrities from another country?” She admired the couple’s look.

Mu Yian narrowed her eyes. ”Who knows?” She did not wait for her assistant and kept walking.

Unfortunately, they were going to the same lounge. She was going to another country for her business trip with her assistant. Her assistant still looked at the couple.

Mu Yian suspected that Yu Qi and Long Hui came to Fanghai Nation to meet her grandfather. Her grandfather also flew to Binhai Nation a few days ago. They probably met each other.

And they were at this lounge at this hour. She began to overthink the matter. She looked at the display screen. There was no other flight. Only one to her destination. So, they must be going to the same destination. Were they trying to follow her? For what?

”Miss Mu, turns out they are not celebrities but still famous.” The assistant showed Mu Yian what she had found on the internet.

Her assistant had searched for Yu Qi’s news on the internet. The top search showed the birthday party that happened a few days ago. So, that was why her grandfather flew to Binhai Nation to celebrate that woman’s birthday.

”Wow, the fireworks must cost a lot. He must love her so much that he is willing to pay a lot for the fireworks just for her birthday.” The assistant commented, feeling envious.

Then, she turned to the couple. The couple seemed to whisper to each other and laughed. She wondered when someone like her could find someone like that man.

Then, she watched a staff member walk to the couple and gestured for the couple to follow her. Her eyes followed the couple until they disappeared from her sight.

Seeing this, Mu Yian felt a little bit relieved that they did not seem to follow her. Until she saw the couple being escorted to a plane. The lounge had a full view of the runway. So, Mu Yian and her assistant watched them board a plane.

Then, the flight attendant closed the door indicating only the two of them were flying on that plane.

”They must be flying private.” The assistant stated.

Mu Yian did not say anything as the plane took off.

In the plane...

”Do you notice something earlier?” Long Hui asked after they had settled in their seats.

”Notice what?” Yu Qi asked back.

”That some people kept watching us at the lounge.” Long Hui stated.

”You mean Mu Yian?” Yu Qi tilted her head. ”If it is her, then, I do notice her.”

”Mu Yian?” Long Hui was confused.

Long Hui had actually forgotten about that woman.

”The woman who kept watching us earlier was Mu Yian. My supposedly cousin from Grandpa Mu’s side.” Yu Qi explained.

”Oh... Her... I forget about her. Yes. They do look like. So, it was her. I thought they were people from the organisation.” Long Hui said.

”No wonder you seemed to be tense at that moment.” Yu Qi chuckled. ”She probably needs to go somewhere and wait for her flight.”

”Let’s forget about her. You will go to work tomorrow. You should sleep.” Long Hui said.

”Hmm... Sure.” Yu Qi nodded.

Long Hui called the flight attendant to ask for a blanket. The flight attendant gave the blanket to Yu Qi.

”Recline your chair.” Long Hui stated.

”Okay.” Yu Qi followed Long Hui’s instruction, reclining her seat until it became flat.

”Great, you can sleep now.” Long Hui nodded.
