Reborn : Space Intelligent Woman

”I am Tang Yu Qi, a doctor from Tang Private Hospital. He seemed to be distracted by your presence. So, I took the chance and attacked from another direction.” Yu Qi explained.

She did not want others to know that she threw the needles at the man. Well, she already took out the needles. Even the man was confused and did not know why he suddenly became weak.

”Even so, you can not act on your own. Otherwise, the hostage might be injured as well.” One of the police officers stepped forward and scolded Yu Qi.

”I am sorry.” Yu Qi did not argue and accepted the scolding.

”How can you scold her after she saved the day?” One of the onlookers asked the police officers.

”Yeah... Soon or sooner, the kid might lose her life because of the girl.” Another person chimed in.

The police officer did not know how to respond. Her leader stepped in front and thanked Yu Qi.

”Thank you, Doctor Yu Qi, for saving the child and helping us catch the criminal.” The leader said.

”Wait a minute. Where did I see this girl?”

”Hey, that is Tang Yu Qi. She became famous because of Song Su Jin’s fake parent begging and kneeling before her yesterday.”

”Yes... Yes... I remember her.”

”I don’t expect to see her here.”

The child’s parent, who had been held by that man, rushed to thank Yu Qi.

”Miss, thank you very much.” The mother of the child thanked Yu Qi several times.

”You should go to the hospital to check your child. He was injured at her neck.” Yu Qi reminded the parent.

”Yes... Yes... We need to go. Once again, thank you.” The father thanked Yu Qi again.

”Qina, I am leaving first.” The mother of the child said.

”It’s fine. Shishi is much more important right now. Go.” Another person stated.

That person was probably the mother’s friend. However, when that person turned to Yu Qi, she was surprised to see a familiar face.

”Auntie Qina?” Yu Qi called the person’s name.

”Long time no see.” Lu Qina smiled. ”Well, let’s go somewhere else.”

Yu Qi looked around and understood the situation. ” Sure.”

Before they left, Yu Qi saw the man who had been asking her to hang out together earlier. The man seemed to be flustered when their eyes met. He looked away after that. Yu Qi did not think much about him and followed Lu Qina away from that place.

”I never thought to see you here.” Lu Qina stated.

”Hmm... Me either. I just came to do some spot checks at my store. I never expected something like this to happen. Who are they to you?” Yu Qi asked.

”That is my friend. We came here to enjoy our weekend.” Lu Qina sighed.

”Does she know that man?” Yu Qi asked curiously.

”No. That man just grabbed her daughter and basically threatened her to hurt the child. But thanks to you the child has just a minor injury.” Lu Qina said.

”I see. That man probably has a lot on his mind. Anyway, it is up to the parent to take action on the man.” Yu Qi said.

”Do you already have lunch? If not, why not join us?” Lu Qina invited Yu Qi to have lunch together.

”Sure. Why not?” Yu Qi nodded.

They walked to the fourth floor, where the restaurants were mostly there. Lu Qina brought Yu Qi to a restaurant.

”My husband and daughter are here already,” Lu Qina said.

”Oh... They are here too?” Yu Qi was surprised.

”Yes. The two families were supposed to have lunch together, and I went down to take my friends here before the incident happened.” Lu Qina stated. ”To think about, you never met my daughter, right?”

”Yeah. How old is she right now?” Yu Qi asked.

”She is currently 3 years old. But she is so mischievous.” Lu Qina stated.

”Oh... She must be so cute.” Yu Qi said.

”Indeed. She is the apple of my eye. My husband spoiled her like a princess.” Lu Qina said. ”Everything is thanks to you. Because of your help, I was able to get pregnant and give birth to a beautiful baby girl.”

”Everything is because of your determination. I will just show you how.” Yu Qi stated.

Both of them arrived at the room. They could hear the child talking while the father responded to the child. Lu Qina opened the door. When the child saw that the person was her mother, she jumped and rushed to hug her mother.

”Mummy.”

Lu Qina hugged the child back and took her into her arms.

”My sweet little star, do you behave when Mummy is gone?” Lu Qina asked.

”Of course. I am a good girl.” The child said proudly.

Lu Qina’s husband, Fu Shi Zian, looked behind his wife and saw no one.

”Wifey, where is your friend?” Fu Shi Zian asked.

”Something happened that they could not make it. But I met Yu Qi. Do you remember her?” Lu Qina asked.

”Of course, I remember her. She is our saviour.” Fu Shi Zian stated.

He also thought the same as his wife. Without Yu Qi’s help, he probably would not have had a child in this life.

”Yu Qi, long time no see.” Fu Shi Zian greeted Yu Qi.

”Yeah, Uncle Fu.” Yu Qi also greeted Fu Shi Zian.
