Reborn : Space Intelligent Woman

”There have been a lot of incidents happened recently.” Nurse Shin Teng commented.

”Yes. Last week, the bus accidents. Today, an earthquake. What is going on right now?” Nurse Sung Wang said while massaged her arms.

Yu Qi listened to the conversation without saying anything. She checked her phone. She noticed there was a message from Long Hui. In the message, Long Hui mentioned that he needed to leave since the military had called him. They needed him since they needed more soldiers. The military dispatched more soldiers to the rescue team. There were a lot of people who had their worst in this earthquake.

Long Hui left this message in case Yu Qi find him. He knew that Yu Qi could see his message and understood it. Yu Qi understood his work.

”By the way, when the earthquake strikes earlier, how is the situation at that time?” Yu Qi asked.

”Well, we do feel the building shaking. The alarm went off immediately. The staff began to run away, checking the patients who needed life support. They checked if the life support had a problem because of the earthquake. Thank goodness that no patients had complications with their life support.

Yu Qi called the Tang Residence. She just had time to check about that. Someone answered the call. It was Grandpa Hang.

”Hello.” Yu Qi said.

”Miss Yu Qi, are you okay?” Grandpa Hang asked.

”Yeah. I am at the hospital.” Yu Qi said.

”You are at the hospital. Did you get injured in the earthquake?” This time, Grandpa Tang’s voice could be heard.

”No... No... I am not injured, Grandpa. I am here working.” Yu Qi explained.

”Don’t you have one day off?” Grandpa Tang asked.

”After the earthquake, I know the hospital would be swarmed by people. So, I came.” Yu Qi said.

”I see... Glad you are safe.” Grandpa Tang said.

”How about the situation at home? Is everyone okay?” Yu Qi asked.

”Yes. Nothing major happened here. Everyone is safe.” Grandpa Tang said. ”Do you see your uncles and brothers?”

”I don’t see them, but I heard from the staff that they are also helping out the patients.” Yu Qi said.

”I see. I am glad that everyone is fine.” Grandpa Tang said.

”Okay... I will come home later.” Yu Qi said.

The call ended after that. Yu Qi went out of the hospital and walked to the research center. She could see that the research centre was standing strong without any damage. She knew that it was fine.

It was already night. That road was silent. Suddenly, Yu Qi stopped.

”You can come out now. No one is here.” Yu Qi spoke out.

One second... Two seconds... Three seconds... Four seconds... Five seconds... Five figures walked out of the darkness and appeared in front of Yu Qi. These people were obviously foreigners. Yu Qi could guess from their facial features.

”Miss Tang, nice to meet you.” One of the men greeted Yu Qi.

”I don’t think it is nice to stalk me.” Yu Qi replied.

”Miss Tang, I don’t like to force women, especially a beautiful woman like you. So, I suggest you follow us voluntarily.” The man said.

”Mike, why are we wasting our time here? She is alone now. This is the perfect time to grab her.” Another man said.

”Yeah, what Samuel said is right. She did not have her bodyguards right now.” Another man said.

Mike ignored his men and looked at Yu Qi again. ”If you follow us, you will not get hurt.”

”Where are you going to bring me?” Yu Qi asked.

”That... You don’t need to know.” Mike said.

”I don’t have any plan to follow you. If you want to take me away, you need to force me.” Yu Qi said.

”See... She will not appreciate your kindness. Let’s make her unconscious and bring her over.” Samuel said.

”Grab her,” Mike said.

They immediately attacked Yu Qi. Yu Qi avoided the hands which wanted to grab her. She gave the kicks to them. Three men ended up lying on the ground, unable to stand up due to the pain. They did not understand why it hurt so much.

”What are you doing?” Samuel frowned. Then, he mocked his friends. ”Just a kick and you are down. What a man you are.”

Samuel attacked Yu Qi. Yu Qi felt that this man was too arrogant from his earlier words. ’Since you look down on women, let me beat you up until you change your perspective about women.’ She knew a man like this liked to look down on women because women were weaker. He would like to bully women.

Yu Qi swung her punch straight into Samuel’s face. It was so fast that Samuel did not have time to dodge the punch. The punch hit directly on his face. At the time, he could feel the blood in his mouth. When he tried to spit out the blood, something else came out of his mouth.

He was stunned. He lost three of his teeth from the punch. That was how strong Yu Qi’s punch was, and that was not her full power. The men who were lying on the ground felt relieved that Yu Qi did not punch them instead kicked them.

”You!!!” Samuel trembled in anger while pointing his finger at Yu Qi.

Yu Qi smirked, provoking Samuel. ”Just one punch and you are bleeding. What a weak man you are.”
