Reborn : Space Intelligent Woman

Because of that incident, Grandma Tang had an accident. The organization tried to kidnap Grandma Tang. Grandma Tang realized that and started to run away. Because she was focusing on running away, she did not realize there was a car heading toward her. The car crashed into her at 80km/h.

Grandma Tang was sent flying over 50 meters from the impact. Seeing this, the organization stopped chasing Grandma Tang. The driver who hit Grandma Tang immediately called the police and ambulance.

The driver told the police that Grandma Tang rushed to the middle of the road. He did not have time to break and hit Grandma Tang. However, he managed to catch the sight of several people who seemed to run away after he went out and checked Grandma Tang’s condition.

Grandma Tang was sent to the hospital, where Grandpa Tang himself was operated on by his wife. Thank Goddess that Grandma Tang survived. Grandma Tang told Grandpa Tang that she had been chased by several men.

They tried to trick her into following them by telling her that Grandpa Tang sent them to get Grandma Tang. Grandma Tang did not believe them and refused to follow them. Because of that, they tried to take her away by force. So, that was why she ran away before getting hit by the car.

Grandpa Tang was furious when he heard about that. So, Grandpa Tang tried to trick the organization into making them believe that he had agreed to join them. The organization did not know that Grandpa Tang had cooperated with the military to find out about their whereabouts.

Grandpa Tang agreed with them on the condition that they would not try to harm his family again. The organization agreed. They brought Grandpa Tang to an island. Not far from Binhai Nation. Even the military was surprised about that.

Grandpa Tang arrived there. He was introduced to the research that he would be conducting. He tried to talk to the other researchers.

Most of them were coming there voluntarily. They had been offered a higher amount of money. Who did not like that? Grandpa Tang saw the same thing that Yu Qi saw at the research centre. The researchers used human beings in their experiments. Most of them were kids. The youngest one was 3 years old.

Grandpa Tang was glad that he did not have a body search by the organization. Grandpa Tang contacted the military and informed the military of everything.

The military came over with dozens of warships and jets surrounding the island. All of the researchers had been caught, and people who had become the human testers had survived. Unfortunately, the person in charge of the research centre managed to escape.

The researchers had been brought to the World Court and had been charged with multiple crimes. As for the kids, some of them could be saved but some of them died not long after that because of organ failure.

Grandpa Tang returned home. His involvement in this mission was being praised highly in the military. With him, they would not be able to find the scum’s whereabouts.

”Yu Qi... Somedays, they will be caught.” Grandpa Tang said.

”Hmm...” Yu Qi nodded.

....

Yu Qi returned to work. Everyone was happy to see Yu Qi again. They asked Yu Qi about her accident. They also asked whether the people who caused the car accident had been caught or not.

Yu Qi shook her head. She told them the police still had been looking for the culprit. However, in her heart, she knew that the police would not be able to look for the culprit seeing how sneaky they could be.

Yu Qi told them that she was fine. So, they did not need to worry about her. She could perform normally.

Long Hui still acted like a bodyguard. He stayed outside Yu Qi’s room. Bai Shui Jin came to the Tang Private Hospital. He was trying to see Yu Qi.

Both men were facing each other outside Yu Qi’s room.

”How is she?” Bai Shui Jin asked.

”It is not your concern. Leave.” Long Hui stated.

”I just want to see if she is okay or not.” Bai Shui Jin said.

”Like I say, it is not your concern. Just leave.” Long Hui said again.

”I do not cause harm.” Bai Shui Jin said.

He refused to leave before seeing Yu Qi.

”Don’t cause harm to her? Do you forget about what your family had done to her? What did your company try to do to her company? Don’t tell me that you know nothing because I know you know.” Long Hui cut Bai Shui Jin when he tried to retort.

Bai Shui Jin frowned. Then, he saw the door swing open. Then, he could see Yu Qi rushed out. He tried to speak to her but she passed him away. Yu Qi was running.

Yu Qi was called to the ER because there was a huge accident between two buses. One bus had 30 passengers, and other buses had 40 passengers. All of them sustained some injuries that needed treatment. Some of them had serious injuries that needed immediate surgery. The available doctors had been called. So, one of them was Yu Qi.

Long Hui also rushed to follow Yu Qi. ER department was full of people. Some of them were crying, and some of them were shouting because of the pain.
