Reborn : Space Intelligent Woman

“MOM!!!”

Someone shouted. Both Zhu Nie Mei and Feng Ni Lan were very shocked by the shout. Turned out, it was Wei Zichen who just came back. He saw his mother and wife talking in the living room. He wanted to greet them. Then he heard what her mother said.

“Mom, what are you saying just now?” Wei Zichen glared at his mother.

Zhu Nie Mei looked awkward as she was caught by her son. It was just for a moment. She felt she was not the wronged one. Her daughter-in-law was rude to her. It was her duty to reprimand her daughter-in-law.

“Your wife is rude to me.” Zhu Nie Mei pointed.

“I don’t think my wife is rude to you. She was stating the fact. You are wrong here.” Wei Zichen said.

“Do you remember that I am your mother?” Zhu Nie Mei shouted.

“I remember. But if you speak nonsense to my wife, I willingly cut ties with you once and for all.” Wei Zichen stated seriously.

“What? What are you talking about? Cutting ties. No. You can’t.” Zhu Nie Mei shook her head.

“It depends on you.” Wei Zichen said. “I already prepared a house for you. I will bring you over there. Have you packed your stuff?”

“I need to move out?” Zhu Nie Mei asked.

“Of course. Why should you stay here after divorcing my father? Don’t you think it is ridiculous?” Wei Zichen uttered.

Zhu Nie Mei turned silent. She was reluctant to leave the house which had been her house for so many years. But she did not have any choice right now. She would follow her son’s decision.

“Where will I move into?” Zhu Nie Mei inquired.

“To one of my properties in Hanchen District. It is a peaceful neighbourhood.” Wei Zichen said.

“Will I live alone?” Zhu Nie Mei asked.

She was already in old age. She wanted her family by her side.

“Well, you are not technically alone. I hired 3 maids to help you, with cleaning and cooking. You don’t have to do anything. Just like here.” Wei Zichen stated.

He already planned it out for his mother. Even though his mother did the wrong thing, it was between her and his father. It was not his place to interfere with the matter. He would not make things difficult for her mother.

“Can you guys move together with me?” Zhu Nie Mei asked.

“No, the place is quite far from my workplace as well as Su Zien and Su Kee’s school.” Wei Zichen refused and gave the reasons.

Feng Ni Lan also agreed with her husband. They would not move in together with her mother-in-law. Her daughter, Wei Su Kee, recently got distanced from her grandmother. As for her son, Wei Su Zien, he was not close to his grandmother.

“Then, I will be alone in that house.” Zhu Nie Mei grumbled.

“Like I asked you are not alone. There are maids there.” Wei Zichen said.

“But…” Zhu Nie Mei wanted to argue.

“If you don’t want, you can go and find your own place. I will not stop nor help you.” Wei Zichen gave his final say in this matter.

“No… No… I will stay at that house.” Zhu Nie Mei reluctantly agreed with the agreement.

“I will ask the maid to pack your stuff.” Feng Ni Lan said.

“You really would not wait to kick me out, did you?” Zhu Nie Mei glared at Feng Ni Lan.

Feng Ni Lan was surprised. It was not her intention.

“No, Mother. I just want to help.” Feng Ni Lan shook her head.

Feng Ni Lan sighed. She turned to her husband.

“Is your mother going to be okay staying over there?” Feng Ni Lan asked.

“There is nothing that we can do. She has to suck it up.” Wei Zichen said.

“How do we explain to our children?” Feng Ni Lan asked.

Their children still did not know about this current situation.

“Just tell them that their grandmother got divorced from their grandmother because they could not stay together anymore.”Wei Zichen stated.

There was no way that he could tell them the truth. He needed to consider his parent’s faces. What would his children think of their grandparents if they knew about the truth? It would not be any good.

“Oh, make sure to tell Muxue as well. Ding Ye also needs to know about this.” Wei Zichen reminded Feng Ni Lan.

“Okay.” Feng Ni Lan said.

“I will go and see my mother.” Wei Zichen left.

At the same time, Gu Muxue just returned home from her work. She heard that her parent-in-law could divorce sooner or later from Wei Yan. When she asked about the reason, it was shocking to her to know that her mother-in-law cheated on her father-in-law a long time ago.

And the affair bore its fruit. No wonder her mother-in-law loved Chi Yuan so much. It was her own granddaughter. She shook her head after hearing Wei Yan explain that to her.

When she walked to her room, she saw Feng Ni Lan. She greeted Feng Ni Lan.

“Sister Ni Lan.” Gu Muxue smiled.

“Muxue, I just want to tell you that Father officially divorce Mother today.” Feng Ni Lan told her.

“Already? Where will she go?” Gu Muxue was surprised.
