Reborn : Space Intelligent Woman

”I have heard about your Jade Store. I have never thought that you have a business mind since you are a doctor.” President Hai said.

”It is my hobby and generates money as well. So, it is good to have the side income.” Yu Qi did not deny that she loved money.

”I have also heard that Miss Tang likes shooting too.” A middle-aged man suddenly mentioned that.

”Really?”

”Yeah. I have heard that she won a shooting competition during her university.”

Yu Qi just smiled when she heard that. She was trying to understand what this person wanted her to do when he mentioned that.

”Coincidently, this place has a shooting training ground. How about Miss Tang show her talent to us?”

”On what basis?” Yu Qi suddenly asked that.

The people who talked about that were silent for a moment. They did not expect that Yu Qi would react like that. They thought Yu Qi would happily accept to showcase her talent to them.

To be honest, they were expecting Long Hui to marry someone who could stand together with him in the military. The most suitable candidate was Zhu Shanggun. She was also from the military. So, it was perfect.

”It is just for fun. If Miss Tang does not want to do it, it is fine.” The middle-aged man said while smiling.

”Oh, sure. Why not?” Yu Qi accepted the challenge.

The middle-aged man was smirking when Yu Qi jumped into his provocation.

”Why don’t we have a friendly competition here? Everyone can join it.” The middle-aged man said.

A person besides President Hai wanted to say something but President Hai stopped him. The middle-aged man was from the military. He did not want to be on bad terms with them.

Only several young men and women decided to play together. As for the young women, they actually wanted to embarrass Yu Qi in front of Long Hui. If Long Hui saw that, they thought Long Hui would probably think to consider his choice again.

They went to the shooting range. The management had been informed that the shooting range would be used at the last minute. They needed to make sure that the equipment was prepared and in the good condition.

Since the shooting range had usually been used by the guests, the equipment was always being checked regularly to avoid unforeseen circumstances.

The women went to change their clothes first. However, Yu Qi did not do the same. She leisurely chatted with others.

”Miss Tang, don’t you want to change first?” The same middle-aged man who suggested the shooting thing asked Yu Qi.

”No need. I can shoot in this dress. We need to be ready in any circumstance in case we are facing danger. Don’t you think so?” Yu Qi asked again.

”That’s right. What Miss Tang said is right.” Qiao Kui Jia became more impressed with this girl. ”Long Fei Yi, you are lucky to get a granddaughter in law like that.” He then said to Grandpa Long.

Grandpa Long did not say anything but his face showed a proud expression.

There were seven lanes. So, everyone took each lane. Three of them were men whole other four were women including Yu Qi. The ones who joined had a military background. Zhu Shanggun was a soldier herself. Zhi Yi Yi was the granddaughter of a high ranking officer. Ding Chi Yia was the daughter of the politician.

As for the three men, they were in the military. The reason for them to join the competition was to make sure that high ranking soldiers like Long Hui would notice them.

They were shocked to see Yu Qi did not change her dress. Zhu Shanggun was the first one to recover herself. She snorted. She would make sure that she would show Yu Qi that she was the one who was suitable for Long Hui.

Yu Qi touched the pistol. It was Ruger .22. It was very suitable for shooting range due to its incredible accuracy. It was commonly used in the shooting range. Yu Qi checked the gun.

”You can shoot 10 times. We will be available to see your score later. You may start now.” The middle-aged man said.

Others started to shoot at the target. Their posture told everyone that they were very familiar with the gun. Except for one person. Because she was wearing the dress, she seemed to be out of place.

Yu Qi felt the target was so easy. It was at a closer distance for her. She usually trained much further in her space. She somehow felt it was not challenging at all.

Zhu Shanggun was the first one to finish shooting the ten shots. Her score was 95. She missed the eighth shot. However, she felt proud. That she obtained such score.

Ding Chi Yia scored 84 while Zhi Yi Yi scored about 93. The three men scored 97, 94 and 96 respectively.

Then Yu Qi was about to shoot the last round. She saw a red laser pointed to somewhere. She followed the laser and it was pointed at President Hai’s forehead. Someone was about to assassinate Binhai Nation’s President. She did not think any longer. She moved to President Hai as faster as possible. She pulled President Hai aside. A bullet passed after President Hai moved. Yu Qi lifted up the gun and pointed at the assassin.

She shot. Then a scream could be heard.
