Reborn : Space Intelligent Woman

”I don’t dare because Old Mrs Wei did not allow me to call her that. If I call her that, she probably get angry with me. It is better for Miss Chi to call her intimately.” Yu Qi said the truth.

Chi Yuan and Grandma Wei changed their expression. They did not expect that Yu Qi would be retorted back like this. The atmosphere became awkward. The older women looked at Yu Qi, Chi Yuan and Grandma Wei.

They knew that Grandma Wei preferred Chi Yuan to be Long Hui’s wife. So, it was probably because of that, Grandma Wei disliked Yu Qi. However, they could not say much about that. It was their family matter. They just could watch and see.

Grandma Wei faked several coughs. Chi Yuan grabbed some water and gave it to Grandma Wei. People could tell that they were very close to each other compared to her own granddaughter.

”I heard that you open the Jade shop.” Grandma Wei moved to another topic.

Yu Qi assumed that question was directed to her, so, she answered. ”Yeah. I open it.”

”Why do you open that?” Grandma Wei asked.

”Well, for profit.” Yu Qi really told the truth. She opened that store because of the money.

Others almost choked when Yu Qi told the reason. Must she be honest like this?

”I know you just open that store to compete with Yuan-er. You must hear that Yuan-er have talent in stone gambling. So you want to show off to her, right?” Grandma Wei spoke nonsense.

”Huh?”

Everyone looked at Grandma Wei with weird expressions right now.

”She was talented and studying under Master Chu Ming.” Grandma Wei boosted Chi Yuan proudly.

”You are already a doctor. Stop doing such a thing. Just focus to be a good doctor. As for the store, you can give it to Yuan-er. She can take care of it nicely.” Grandma Wei said.

This made people look at Grandma Wei more. They felt there was something wrong with Grandma Wei’s brain. Chi Yuan noticed that. She tried to make Grandpa Wei stopped talking but she was unsuccessful.

”You meant I have to give the store to Miss Chi just like that?” Yu Qi asked.

”Of course, you don’t have any talent in stone gambling  at all.” Grandma Wei said.

”Grandma, what are you talking about? That is Miss Tang’s store. How could she give something like that?” Even Wei Su Kee thought her grandmother was unreasonable.

Feng Yue could not hold back her laugh, so she laughed.

”What are you laughing at?” Grandma Wei asked.

”It is so funny. You think my Yu Qi did not have talent in stone gambling?” Feng Yue asked.

”Of course. She is a doctor.” Grandma Wei said.

”Miss Chi, tell me. Who is losing to my Yu Qi several months ago, huh?” Feng Yue turned to Chi Yuan and asked her.

Chi Yuan was stunned as she heard the question. She did not expect Feng Yue to just ask that question to her in front of everyone like this.

”Oh, I remember that competition.” One of the older women said.

”What happens?” Another joined too.

”I remember Chi Yuan competed with a girl in stone gambling. And she lost to that girl.”

”Is that girl Miss Tang here?”

”Yeah. I remember her face. Her features are outstanding. Just now, I am thinking about where did I see her before. Now, when Miss Feng mentioned that, it clicked.”

”Meaning, Miss Tang has talent in stone gambling too?”

”Yeah. She is very talented. Even Master Chu Ming admit her talent.”

Grandma Wei was speechless when she listened to that conversation. ”Are you telling the truth?”

”Of course, I am telling the truth. Everyone on that day watched Miss Tang win.” The older woman who was on the stone gambling competition nodded.

”But you are just a doctor.” Grandma Wei said.

”Being a doctor does not mean she would not have another talent.” Feng Yue said. ”And if she did not have talent in stone gambling, she could hire someone else. How could she just give her hard work to a stranger?” She added.

”Yuan-er is not a stranger.” Grandma Wei replied.

”Even so, if she is not a stranger, why should she give it to someone to who she is not close? She could give it to me instead.” Feng Yue argued.

”So, you are eyeing on my business?” Yu Qi asked while her eyebrows lifted.

”Of course not.” Feng Yue grinned.

Grandma Wei was silent. She could not retort anything. Chi Yuan who sat beside Grandma Wei was paled. She did not have thought not having Yu Qi’s store but because of Grandma Wei’s words, people around might think that she was the one who have an idea about Yu Qi’s store.

Feng Yue humped. Thank goodness, this old woman was not her grandmother. If not, she did not know what to do with her.

”Yu Qi, you are here.” Someone called Yu Qi’s name.

Yu Qi turned and saw Gu Ning and a man.

”Gu Ning, nice to meet you again.” Yu Qi smiled.

”Yeah.” Gu Ning smiled. ”Oh, this is my brother, Gu Ye Fei.” She introduced her brother to Yu Qi.

”Nice to meet you, Miss Tang.” Gu Ye Fei said.

”Nice to meet you too, Mr Gu.” Yu Qi nodded.

”Feng Yue, you are here too.” Gu Ning said.

”You just see me?” Feng Yue said.

”You know each other?” Yu Qi asked.

”We studied at the same university but different course. However, I was in the same club as her.” Gu Ning smiled.
