Reborn : Space Intelligent Woman

Both of them left the shopping mall before lunch. Long Hui wanted to take Yu Qi somewhere. They went to the outskirts of the Capital City. She was curious where did Long Hui want to bring her to.

They stopped at a restaurant. Well, not a big one. Just a small one. Looking at this place, she remembered the past where she used to work at a place like this before becoming a part of the Tang Family.

”We are going to have lunch here.” Long Hui said.

”Sure. No problem.” Yu Qi nodded.

Of course, she did not have any problem eating at a place like this. She could not hate a place like this.

”Welcome... Welcome...” An old lady greeted them as they stepped inside the room. She looked at them warmly. Then she was looking a little bit surprised. ”You are...”

”Long time no see, Grandma Xia.” Long Hui greeted the old lady politely.

”You are the little Hui, right?” Grandma Xia looked at Long Hui.

”Yes, Grandma Xia.” Long Hui nodded.

”Look at you. You have already grown up. Oh, is this your wife?” Grandma Xia’s eyes moved to Yu Qi.

”My future wife, Tang Yu Qi.” Long Hui introduce Yu Qi to Grandma Xia.

”Hello.” Yu Qi said politely.

”Oh my... The time really passed.” Grandma Xia smiled. ”I remember you are here with your parent a long time ago when you are just a small kid. You are a little arrogant too.” She made a small laugh.

She looked at Yu Qi. ”His father also brought his mother to come and eat here too even before they got married. Now their son is doing the same thing.”

Yu Qi looked at Long Hui. She did not know that this place was so special to Long Hui. Long Hui’s ears were slightly red. He looked so cute when he was shy.

Long Hui and Yu Qi sat at the table at the corner of the restaurant. A young lady came and wanted to take the order. She was smiling when seeing a handsome man like Long Hui

”Welcome. Have you decided on the menu?” The young lady asked the couple.

The menu list with their prices was written on the wall. The customers just needed to look at them and chose which one they wanted.

”Let’s have hotpot. It is very good here.” Long Hui suggested.

”Sure.” Yu Qi nodded. ”Let’s have two types of soup. The spicy one and the mild one.”

”Okay.” Long Hui also nodded.

The young lady wrote what they requested and went into the kitchen.

”You used to come here?” Yu Qi asked.

”Hmm... When my parent is still alive. They liked to come here.” Long Hui looked soft when talking about his parent.

He did not talk about his parent much. However, Yu Qi knew that Long Hui really loved his parent and his parent loved their son so much.

”They sat here and argued what they wanted to eat. Grandma Xia came and smooth up the thing.” Long Hui had a gentle smile on his lips while telling the story about his parent.

”I see. Their relationship must be really good.” Yu Qi chuckled.

”Your parent must be happy to see you getting married, right?” Grandma Xia came and served the food on the table.

”Yeah. They are happy to see their future daughter in law.” Long Hui nodded.

”Eat them up.” Grandma Xia said.

They started to eat the hotpot. It was very delicious. Long Hui could not help to recall his memories here with his parent. Even though his parent was busy with their duties as a soldier, they still had some time to bring him here, enjoying the delicious food here.

The atmosphere was very good. The food was also delicious. Since it was lunchtime, the restaurant had been visited by people. Their table was a little bit hidden from others.

”This restaurant is really popular, right?” Yu Qi looked around.

”Yeah.” Long Hui nodded.

”It is because its food is super delicious.” Yu Qi laughed. ”And it is full with the memories.”

”Let’s go and pay up.” Long Hui said.

So, both of them went to the counter to pay up. It was the same young lady who took their order earlier in the counter.

”Your bill is here.” The young lady handed out the bill to Long Hui.

After paying, they were about to leave the restaurant. However, someone blocked their way.

”Wow... What’s a beauty.” There was a man’s voice.

”Yeah. She is a match with you, Brother He Lang.” Another voice said.

Long Hui placed himself in front of Yu Qi blocking their view

”This man must be her boyfriend.” One of the men talked.

”Hey you, give your girlfriend to Brother He Lang if you want to leave alive.” The man said. He pointed to the man that had a bulky body. People could see that this man was really strong.

Long Hui already looked very angry. How dared they ask for his girlfriend? He wanted to kill these group of men right now

How could Yu Qi did not know what Long Hui was thinking about right now? She knew it. She held Long Hui’s hand, looking at him and asking him to calm down.

He was a soldier who going to get the promotion. If he killed a citizen, he would be criticized by the public. She could not let that to happen.
