[Steven]: It’s here, it’s here! Finally! I’ve been waiting an entire episode for this moment!

[Wallace]: Steven, could you stop being the first person to jump out every single time? You’re acting like you’re the one getting the memories.

[Steven]: I’m happy for Brother Asher! Think about it—this makes FOUR complete sets of memories stacked together! Brother Asher has four entire lifetimes in his head now! Maybe every morning when he wakes up, he has to spend five minutes figuring out who he is today!

[Asher]: Steven, I see your skin is itching again.

[Iris]: By the way, why hasn’t Miss Diantha said anything yet? Did the memories arrive?

[Lorelei]: She’s probably still processing them. Wasn’t it the same for Misty and the others before?

[Skyla]: Oho, Master’s started going through the usual process too! Silence is step one. Next comes blushing, covering her face, and desperately trying to resist everything with logic—

[Diantha]: Skyla, your information is outdated.

[Skyla]: ?

[Diantha]: I wasn’t quiet because I needed time to process the memories.

[Diantha]: I was packing my luggage.

[Skyla]: Huh?

[Diantha]:@Asher, hubby, come pick me up~ I can’t carry four whole suitcases all by myself~

[Misty]: ?

[Cynthia]: ?

[Elesa]: ?

[Skyla]: Oh my god. Master is incredible. I can practically hear how long she stretched out that ”~” just from reading the text.

[Valerie]: Is this the professionalism of a Best Actress? Even her spoiled flirting has layers to it?

[Diantha]:@Asher, hubby, why aren’t you saying anything? You’re not really going to make me carry all this luggage by myself, are you? (?•? ? •??)

[Asher]: ...I get it. I’ll come pick you up right now.

[Diantha]: Hubby, you’re the best! I’ll wait for you~ Oh, and I want roses too. Red ones. Ninety-nine of them~ ε?(?＞ ? ＜)?з

[Asher]: Sure. No problem.

[Misty]: Wait, wait, wait! This isn’t right! Your process is completely different from ours!

[Cynthia]: ...We all went to find our husband ourselves back then.

[Elesa]: Exactly! This is way too unfair!

[Diantha]: Everyone expresses love differently~ I simply happened to choose the most efficient method.

[Elesa]: You’re obviously just showing off! (｀Д′)

[Diantha]: Are you three jealous? Well, who told you to be so well-behaved? It’s fine. I’ll teach you properly later. I guarantee that once hubby hears you—

[Misty]: Who needs you to teach me?! I can do it myself!!

[Cynthia]: I want to learn. (Serious.)

[Misty]: Cynthia, snap out of it! Don’t let her corrupt you!

[Cynthia]: But I think Diantha makes a very good point.

In reality—Kalos region, Diantha’s apartment.

Diantha stood in the middle of the living room.

Four neatly packed suitcases surrounded her.

Gardevoir floated beside her, using psychic power to carefully fold the final evening gown and place it inside one of the cases.

”Thank you, Gardevoir.”

Diantha nodded in satisfaction before sitting down on the sofa.

”Why isn’t hubby here yet—”

Before she could finish—a golden ring tore open in the middle of the living room.

A moment later, Asher stepped through.

He wore a well-tailored dark-gray coat and carried a bouquet of red roses in his arms, looking every bit as elegant and composed as ever.

”Wifey, I’m here to pick you up.”

The moment Diantha saw Asher, the corners of her lips quickly curved upward.

She stepped forward, grabbed him by the collar, and pulled him down slightly.

Then she rose onto her toes—

And pressed her lips against his.

A moment later, Diantha released his collar and took half a step back.

She wiped the corner of her mouth with one finger.

”All right.”

Her voice was slightly lower than before, but the smile on her face had only grown deeper.

”Now then—Diantha, world-famous actress, Champion of Kalos, and Elaria’s mother...”

”Starting today, I officially join the Asher household.”

Asher wrapped one arm around Diantha’s waist and pulled her a little closer.

”Welcome.”

”The four suitcases are over there.”

Diantha pointed toward the wall.

Asher glanced at the four perfectly arranged suitcases.

Then he turned toward Hoopa.

”Hoopa, send the luggage back first.”

”No problem!”

Hoopa rubbed its little hands together.

Four small golden rings appeared, one around each suitcase.

One by one, they vanished.

Then Asher and Diantha stepped through Hoopa’s ring as well.

...

Asher’s Estate, Kanto.

The Asher family estate.

A golden ring appeared out of thin air.

Asher and Diantha stepped through.

Diantha stood in the courtyard and looked around.

The eaves of the Japanese-style buildings glowed warmly beneath the afternoon sunlight.

The maple leaves had just begun taking on their first traces of autumn red.

A faint veil of steam drifted above the hot spring.

”This place is even nicer than I imagined.”

Diantha hugged Asher’s arm.

”Especially that hot spring... can we go in together tonight?”

Before Asher could answer—

The living-room door opened.

Misty, Cynthia, and Elesa walked out one after another.

Misty was in front, her arms crossed.

”Welcome—although it’s not exactly your first time here.”

”But this time I’m here officially.”

Diantha released Asher’s arm and held out a hand toward Misty.

”I’ll be in your care from now on.”

Misty took her hand, the corners of her lips rising slightly.

”Same here.”

”But now that you’ve officially joined the family, you’re responsible for mixing the dipping sauce for tonight’s hot pot.”

”It’s our family’s tradition for newcomers.”

”No problem.”

Diantha blinked.

”I learned a secret recipe in Kalos. I guarantee it’ll taste so good you’ll want to swallow your tongues.”

”All right, then. You girls go relax in the living room. I’ll prepare the hot pot.”

Asher nodded and headed toward the kitchen.

Misty was just about to follow and help—

When Diantha gently caught her wrist.

”You really don’t want to learn a trick or two?”

Diantha blinked innocently.

”After all... this is how I won hubby over.”

Misty’s face instantly turned bright red.

”I DON’T NEED IT!”
