Villain: Manipulating the Heroines into hating the Protagonist

The news of the Empress’s and the Second Queen’s abduction sent shockwaves of chaos throughout the capital, leaving the Emperor in a state of frenzy.

He couldn’t fathom how someone could dare to commit such an audacious act against his primary and secondary wives!

In a fit of rage and desperation, the Emperor immediately issued orders to his faction, granting them sweeping authority to do whatever it took to find the Empress and the Second Queen.

Their mission became an all-consuming obsession, and they spared no effort in their search, turning the entire Empire upside down.

As the Emperor’s faction raised hell, they left no stone unturned, relentlessly pursuing leads and interrogating individuals from various rebellious groups.

Many of these groups faced the wrath of the Emperor’s forces, leading to violent confrontations and merciless slaughter.

Even secret and important locations tied to powerful organizations, sects, and clans were forcefully searched, revealing a web of evil deeds.

Yet, despite their ferocious pursuit, the intended targets remained elusive.

Driven by desperation, the Emperor offered an unprecedented reward in exchange for any information about the whereabouts of the Empress and the Second Queen.

The reward was none other than a chance to choose anything from the Royal Treasury.

This act demonstrated the depths of the Emperor’s despair and determination to retrieve his wives, regardless of the cost.

All the cultivators who hadn’t yet left for the battlefield to fight against the devil forces began to search for the Empress and the Second Queen to get this reward. The Royal Treasury possessed artifacts and resources of unimaginable value. Each one of those could completely transform their fate if they acquired it.

Unfortunately, even as these cultivators joined the search along with the Emperor’s faction, they failed to find any sign of the Empress or the Second Queen. They even utilized the artifacts that could sense Qi and Spiritual Energy and checked out both the Palaces where the Empress and the Second Queen resided respectively.

However, they came up empty handed as the assailant seemed to not have left behind any clues or traces for them to follow.

Meanwhile, the battlefield between the Empire’s Royal Factions and the devils grew even more chaotic.

At this moment, Wang Ying had given her answer to Ye Chen and Zyrithia. It was a resounding no!

Moreover, she revealed her true intentions when activating a ruthless trap her faction had prepared in advance to slaughter Ye Chen and Zyrithia.

The trap proved deadly, claiming the lives of seven King Realm Devils and hundreds of Lord Realm demons.

However, it fell short of its intended targets, as Ye Chen and Zyrithia managed to escape, aided by Zyrithia’s Ancestral Nether Curse Scythe that broke the barrier surrounding them. Their swift speed enabled them to evade the clutches of the trap.

Ye Chen found himself overwhelmed with distress and fury at Wang Ying’s treacherous actions.

While he had plans of betrayal as well, being deceived first clouded his judgment, making him blind to his own hypocrisy.

He harbored hatred towards Wang Ying, convinced he was justified in doing so, oblivious to his own narrow-mindedness.

With their negotiations with Wang Ying’s faction having failed, Ye Chen and Zyrithia were left with no choice but to shift their focus to a different battlefield. The central battlefield where the Crown Prince’s faction clashed with the elite Devil Clans was an incredibly perilous and deadly place. Even King Realm experts like Ye Chen and Zyrithia could easily meet their end if they were even slightly careless.

Both of them understood that their presence in the central battlefield would force the Devil Emperors to divert their attention to protect them, potentially exposing them to greater danger amidst the chaos. The wise decision was to first deal with the Emperor Realm experts of the Empire to minimize risks.

Hence, Ye Chen and Zyrithia’s group was directed to concentrate their efforts on the third part of the battlefield. While they could have continued their confrontation with Wang Ying’s faction in the first part, they realized it was not in their favor. Wang Ying’s faction had managed to gain the upper hand by leveraging their terrain advantage and adapting to their techniques.

As a strategic move, another group was assigned to keep Wang Ying’s faction occupied, while Ye Chen and Zyrithia’s group concentrated on the third part of the battlefield.

The devils had been on the decline in the third part ever since the Seventh Prince, Wang Jian, dealt with the Third Prince, Wang Chen, who had collaborated with the devils. In an effort to turn the tide, Ye Chen and Zyrithia were tasked with analyzing and improving the devil forces’ standing in this area.

The situation on the third part of the battlefield was critical, and both Ye Chen and Zyrithia understood the weight of their responsibilities. They had to strategize and fight intelligently to aid the devils in regaining the upper hand against the Empire’s forces.

Unbeknownst to Ye Chen, Wang Jian was well-prepared for their confrontation. As soon as Ye Chen and Zyrithia’s group breached the barrier and entered the third part of the battlefield, Wang Jian sensed their presence. A wide grin spread across his face, and he wasted no time activating his Spatial Movement Skill to warp to their location.

When Ye Chen and Zyrithia’s group arrived, they were accompanied by three powerful Devil Emperors who immediately clashed with Yue Yanling and the Grand Elder of the Lotus Blossom Sect. As the Emperor Realm experts engaged in their fierce battles, Ye Chen and Zyrithia’s group faced skilled warriors from Wang Jian’s faction, led by formidable women from his harem who possessed peak-level insights into their respective elements.

The battlefield became a chaotic whirlwind of power and skills, with Wang Jian’s faction seemingly dominating the encounter. Ye Chen and Zyrithia’s group, however, managed to hold their ground and preserve their lives by utilizing the rare artifacts they possessed.

Zyrithia wielded the Ancestral Nether Curse Scythe, granting her a myriad of abilities that greatly enhanced her range of techniques. This powerful weapon proved to be a valuable asset in the fierce battle.

Meanwhile, Ye Chen possessed several rare artifacts from the Oceanic Tempest Storm Devil Clan, including the Sea King’s Devil Blade and the Ring of Pure Water. These artifacts allowed him to unleash devastating attacks while also providing him with defensive capabilities to protect his body from harm.

As the battle raged on, both sides displayed their mastery of skills and techniques, determined to gain the upper hand. ．

As the intense battle raged on, a sudden sound of clapping echoed across the battlefield, catching everyone’s attention. All eyes turned to the source of the sound, and the expressions of Wang Jian’s faction were filled with delight, while Ye Chen and Zyrithia’s group wore grim expressions.

To their astonishment, it was Wang Jian himself who stood there, a wide grin on his face as he leisurely approached the site of the ongoing battle. As he drew near, an aura of unreal pressure emanated from his body, the Dragon’s Prestige (Level 3) radiating power that made even the devils from Ye Chen and Zyrithia’s group unconsciously back off.

Ignoring Ye Chen and Zyrithia for the moment, Wang Jian focused his attention on Chen Yiyan and the other members of his harem, who greeted him with excitement and pride.

Chen Yiyan couldn’t contain her enthusiasm as she spoke, “Did you see my attack? I can finally execute those techniques without relying on any artifacts! I’m beginning to grasp my true power.”

In response, Wang Jian smiled, genuinely pleased with her progress, “You have indeed grown stronger. I’m truly delighted to witness your progress.”

He then turned to addressing his other harem members, commending them on their progress as well.

While Wang Jian was engrossed in conversation with his women, Ye Chen and Zyrithia exchanged a knowing look and subtly nodded at each other, communicating their plan for a sneak attack on Wang Jian while his back was turned.

They believed this might be their chance to finally deal with him once and for all.

However, as they moved to execute their plan, Wang Jian abruptly turned his head, his gaze locking onto them with a cold, calculating stare.

In an instant, he unleashed his peak-level insights of the Wind Element, sending a powerful wind attack hurtling towards both Ye Chen and Zyrithia.

Despite Ye Chen’s quick attempt to counter with his own Wind Element techniques infused with potent Demonic Qi, they were both overwhelmed by Wang Jian’s might, hurtling away from the battlefield with great force.

With a swift movement, Wang Jian disappeared from his previous spot and reappeared right in front of Ye Chen and Zyrithia, his expression bearing a somewhat conceited grin. “You really don’t learn, do you? I’m getting tired of defeating you every time you come and mess with my faction,” he taunted Ye Chen.

Undeterred, Ye Chen glared back at Wang Jian and defiantly shouted, “This time will be different! I will emerge victorious!”

Meanwhile, Zyrithia had wasted no time, pointing her Scythe at Wang Jian and activating a cursed technique. A flurry of chains crafted from pure demonic qi shot out from the Scythe, ensnaring Wang Jian in their malevolent grip.

Taking a breath of relief, Zyrithia began to explain her move to Wang Jian, her voice dripping with satisfaction, “… You have finally been struck by my cursed technique. Soulbane Obliteration targets your very essence, binding your soul to a malevolent demonic entity. This entity will gradually drain your life-force and strength. The more you resist, the faster your life essence will be siphoned away. In short, you are doomed. Give up now!”

To the surprise of Zyrithia and her companions, Wang Jian raised a brow, an amused smile playing on his lips. “A curse, huh? That’s an interesting method of attack. But unfortunately, it won’t work against me,” he stated.
