Villain: Manipulating the Heroines into hating the Protagonist

Ye Chen fixed his serious gaze on Wang Ying, his tone grave as he addressed her, “Princess Ying, take a moment to assess the state of your faction. Since your return from the Sacred Dominion, your faction’s strength has suffered a significant decline. The situation might have been salvageable if the Lotus Blossom Sect had remained by your side, but their departure triggered a chain reaction, leading the Hua Clan and other organizations to abandon you.”

Ye Chen’s words struck a chord with Wang Ying, causing her to pause and listen with a visibly displeased expression.

Sensing her willingness to hear him out, Ye Chen maintained his composure and continued, “All those organizations that left your faction have joined forces with Crown Prince Wang Hao or Seventh Prince Wang Jian. Their factions have grown considerably stronger, surpassing your own. I daresay your faction is now only marginally stronger than Third Prince Wang Chen’s.”

“I already know all this. Why don’t you get to the point?” Wang Ying retorted with a scathing and angry tone.

Ye Chen’s smirk emerged as he responded, “Princess Ying, I want to assist you. Despite the circumstances that forced me to accept this demon bloodline, my heart remains human, and I genuinely desire victory for humanity in this war against the devils.”

Impatience and anger welled up within Wang Ying, her tone dripping with skepticism and disdain. “Cut to the chase. I’m not interested in your empty words that might appeal to fools.”

Surprised by her blunt rejection, a cold glint flashed in Ye Chen’s eyes as he retorted, “I assure you, Princess Ying, I speak the truth. Now, let’s discuss how I can help you. I can eliminate Crown Prince Wang Hao.”

Wang Ying snorted derisively, unable to contain her disbelief. “You defeating Hao? Are you delusional or have you lost your wits after becoming a demon?”

Unfazed, Ye Chen calmly replied, “The bloodline I possess is exceptionally rare even among these devil clans. They will heed my command to target the Crown Prince. However, I will require your assistance to ensure the timing is perfect. A half-hearted or weak attack will not suffice against him.”

Wang Ying’s narrowed her eyes as she considered his proposition, finding it intriguing. “I see. That’s rather interesting. I will contemplate your proposal and respond to you later.”

Ye Chen’s expression turned serious as he spoke firmly, “Very well, but I cannot afford to wait longer than a day for your decision.”

Returning to the battlefield, Ye Chen and Wang Ying engaged in a fierce display of combat, putting on a convincing show for onlookers.

Eventually, the devil forces were compelled to retreat, their defeat at the hands of Wang Ying’s faction was evident.

As they retreated, Zyrithia approached Ye Chen with a smirk, curiosity evident in her voice, “So, did it work? Has she been convinced?”

Ye Chen’s devious smile spread across his face as he replied, “Yes, she seemed intrigued. If all goes according to plan, she will accept the proposal tomorrow.”

Zyrithia’s smirk widened, satisfaction radiating from her as she declared, “Excellent. If she accepts the offer, then both the Third Prince and the Second Princess of the Empire will be collaborating with us. We will be able to easily defeat the Crown Prince Wang Hao.”

Upon their return to the encampment, Ye Chen and Zyrithia were met with shocking news that sent their carefully laid plans tumbling.

In the midst of their battle against Wang Ying’s faction, a significant event had unfolded in the third part of the battlefield where Wang Chen’s faction had been stationed, completely overturning their strategies.

This event threatened to overshadow all of Ye Chen and Zyrithia’s carefully crafted plans, casting a shadow of uncertainty over their next moves.

As the evening progressed, the news spread like wildfire across the battlefield. By nightfall, all factions were aware of Wang Chen’s treacherous alliance with the demons, leaving no room for doubt.

Wang Ying, upon hearing this revelation, couldn’t hide her astonishment. She had never imagined that her own third brother was already in league with the demons. With disbelief in her eyes, she retreated to the solitude of her tent, pondering the implications of this newfound information.

“Intriguing. So, Third Brother Chen was colluding with the demons all along. And it was Seventh Brother Jian who exposed his treachery and assumed control of his faction?” she whispered softly to herself, mulling over the situation.

As weariness washed over her, Wang Ying sighed, realizing that the balance of power had drastically shifted. “Seventh Brother Jian’s faction is now as strong as, if not stronger than, Crown Prince Hao’s faction.”

Muttering softly, Wang Ying continued, “Even though Ye Chen approached me with an alliance proposal, just as I had anticipated, it’s already too late. Now that Third Brother Chen’s betrayal has been laid bare, the Emperor Realm experts and even Hao’s faction will exercise caution when dealing with other factions. There is no longer any incentive to accept Ye Chen’s offer.”

A mischievous smirk graced Wang Ying’s face as she spoke, her tone tinged with cunningness. “…However, I can still use this to my advantage.”

In the third part of the battlefield, Wang Jian’s faction was diligently organizing their defenses. They strengthened the barrier and implemented additional countermeasures, setting up traps in case more demons emerged from the barriers.

The members from Wang Chen’s faction that had joined Wang Jian’s faction proved to be highly skilled in setting up such traps, which greatly benefited their preparations.

At the moment, Wang Jian was overseeing the construction of a secret teleportation formation by a couple of Liu Clan members. To ensure its secrecy, two layers of barriers were being erected to prevent detection by Emperor Realm experts.

This teleportation formation was being crafted with rare resources, including the Ebon Void Essence Ore, and its purpose was to connect to the Teleportation Formation in Wang Jian’s palace in the Royal Capital.

Although it would take another day for the construction to be completed, the progress made so far has been remarkable.

Amidst his responsibilities, Wang Jian’s thoughts wandered to his women back in the Empire. He found comfort in knowing they possessed the Telephone and could inform him if they were in any trouble.

If the situation called for it, he could utilize his Spatial Movement repeatedly, albeit at the cost of great physical and mental strain, to swiftly reach their location.

While he anticipated exhaustion, he knew he could easily recover by expending some destiny points.

However, Wang Jian’s worries were unnecessary, for Su Xian and Bixi Shuyan’s mission was relatively straightforward.

Their task was to locate the resources of the Crown Prince and Second Princess’s factions. Along the way, they encountered guards who managed to detect their presence.

Nevertheless, Bixi Shuyan and her fellow Silver Tailed Fox Race members utilized their mastery of illusions to easily deceive the guards, rendering them oblivious to their true intentions.

On the other hand, Su Xian and her group engaged in direct combat against the guards they encountered.

It was during these encounters that Bixi Shuyan witnessed Su Xian’s fighting prowess for the first time, leaving her utterly astonished.

Su Xian’s movements were remarkably refined and demonstrated immense strength.

While Bixi Shuyan had achieved peak-level insights in the Laws of Wind, she had yet to unlock their full potential.

In contrast, Su Xian effortlessly controlled the power of peak-level insights in the Laws of Water.

To Bixi Shuyan’s astonishment, Su Xian had even frozen the blood of the guards before they could mount a counterattack.

Su Xian referred to this technique as “Chilling Blood.” .

As their group continued on their mission, they encountered and swiftly overpowered some bandits along the way.

During their journey, Su Xian had a brilliant idea that could greatly improve the public’s opinion of Wang Jian’s faction.

To implement her plan, Su Xian procured numerous silver masks adorned with intricately drawn faces. Each member of their group wore these masks, distinguishing them from others. Su Xian and Bixi Shuyan had unique masks—a star shape for Su Xian and a flower shape for Bixi Shuyan.

Donning these silver masks, their group began to gain immense renown throughout the Empire.

This achievement was solely attributed to Su Xian’s straightforward yet effective strategy.

Upon reaching a new region, they would first scour the area for hidden treasures using Bixi Shuyan’s gift of sensing treasures. Afterward, they systematically hunted down and subdued large bandit camps in the area.

What made their approach distinct was that they left the loot untouched and instead donated it to the authorities, ensuring that the wealth was returned to its rightful owners. While Su Xian and Bixi Shuyan’s group could have been tempted by the wealth, they believed that Wang Jian valued renown and prestige over meager riches.

Their actions didn’t stop with dealing with bandits; they also extended a helping hand to those in need, such as farmers, blacksmiths, and others facing oppression. They assisted without expecting much in return, presenting themselves as true philanthropists.

Word of the Silver Masked Group’s altruistic deeds spread throughout the Empire, and their renown grew immensely.

With each successful endeavor, Su Xian and Bixi Shuyan’s group gained confidence. And soon, their group also began to deal with some rebellious groups of the Empire while also subduing the prisoners that had been broken out by Wang Jian.

The Silver Masked Group’s prestige wouldn’t have risen so swiftly under normal circumstances. However, right now, the Empire was under attack by the Devils while also being embroiled in internal conflict as the prisoners had escaped from their prisoners and raged chaos in the Empire.

In this case, a group like Silver Masked Group was like a guardian angel for the people. And it is guardian angels during turbulent times that gain the acceptance of the people.
