Apocalypse Descent: Farming with My Harem

Chapter 1977 -660: Legendary Set—Great Witch Demon’s Frost Soul Robe! (Part 3)

“Open for me!”

In the next instant, he clicked “open” without the slightest hesitation.

“Creak——!”

As the Treasure Box slowly opened, a dazzling beam of light burst out from the crack!

The light kept shifting colors, turning cyan for a moment, then green, looking brilliantly multicolored.

When the Treasure Box fully opened, the light gradually drew back and finally condensed into a sheet of pale cold radiance.

Right after that, Cao Xing suddenly felt a wave of intense chill surge toward him, as if even the surrounding air were about to freeze solid!

“Well damn, Ice Attribute Equipment?”

“Could it really be something I can use?”

Cao Xing immediately fixed his gaze on it.

Once the light completely faded, a pure white Robe lay quietly inside the box.

Faint Frost patterns flowed across the Robe’s surface, as though it contained endless cold.

“It’s actually… clothing?”

Cao Xing was a bit surprised.

After all, he had obtained a lot of Legendary Equipment, but most of them were Weapons.

This was the first time he’d ever opened a Legendary Level piece of armor.

With a hint of puzzlement, he quickly picked the Robe up.

[Obtained: Great Witch Demon’s Frost Soul Robe (Legend)]

…

“Great Witch Demon? Is it the kind I’m thinking of?”

Cao Xing was curious, then checked the Magic Robe’s Attribute.

[Great Witch Demon’s Frost Soul Robe (Legend)]

[Quality: Legend]

[Equipment Level: Level 70 or higher]

[Armor: 2175~2292]

[Attached Effect 1: Spirit +1200, Constitution +900, Casting Speed +30%]

[Attached Effect 2: Witch Demon Soul (all Skill Cooldown Time reduced by 30%, Skill Damage increased by 30%)]

[Attached Effect 3: Great Witch Demon’s Frost Soul Curse (Legendary Effect, can designate one Skill below Legendary Level and grant it “Frost Soul” effect; loses effect after unequipping.

Frost Soul: Skill Damage increased by 100%, and every time an Attack hits an enemy, it inflicts 1 stack of “Soul Freeze” Status, up to a maximum of 10 stacks, lasting 30 seconds.

Soul Freeze: Each stack reduces the enemy’s Casting/Attack Speed by 5%, and any target under “Soul Freeze” will suffer a Soul Rebound effect every time they cast Magic or perform an Attack, taking Damage equal to 10% of the Spellcaster’s Attack Power.)]

(Extra Effect: Ice Crystal Trajectory (the wearer is surrounded by a faint Frost aura, leaving an Ice Crystal Trajectory when moving))

[Note: Great Witch Demon Set 1/3, can form a Set with Great Witch Demon’s Ice Bone Leg Guards and Great Witch Demon’s Frost Soul Boots for Set Effect]

[Collect all three pieces to activate Legendary Set Effect: “Great Witch Demon’s Fury!”]

(Equipment note: “Cold Ice is my soul, death is my destination.” — Great Witch Demon Aisland murmuring upon the throne.)

…

At that moment, Cao Xing’s heartbeat suddenly sped up, a flash of shock passing through his eyes!

This thing wasn’t just some ordinary Legendary Equipment.

It was actually part of a Legendary Set!

“Holy… that over the top?”

“Even Legendary Equipment has Sets?”

Beyond that, he was even more stunned by how powerful this Legendary Set was!

Especially that Legendary Effect at the end, which could actually pick a Skill and grant it the “Frost Soul” effect.

It could not only boost the Damage that Skill dealt, but every Attack would also inflict terrifying debuffs on the enemy.

“And more importantly, I have the Ice Spirit Soul Skill, which lets all my small Skills go into a no Skill Cooldown state.”

“On top of that, my Eternal Power Talent makes Ice Spirit Soul permanently active.”

“The two combined have triggered a kind of qualitative change.”

“In other words, I can totally pick a small Skill like Ice Cone Skill, Ice Ball Skill, or Ice Wall and give it the Frost Soul effect.”

“And with my current Casting Speed, firing five or six Ice Ball Skills per second is easy as breathing.”

“At the start of a fight, I can instantly stack 10 layers of Soul Freeze on the enemy.”

Thinking of this, Cao Xing became even more excited inside.

This was Eternal Power + Ice Spirit Soul + Great Witch Demon’s Frost Soul Curse, three abilities stacked together.

Even without any other Extra Effect, just that single Skill Damage +100% was enough to make Cao Xing’s small Skill Attack Power skyrocket by a huge margin.

His DPS would also increase dramatically.

By then, what the enemy would face is a Frost Mage whose small Skills have no CD and whose Damage rivals those Big Skills, bombing away like a heavy bomber!

Just imagining it was enough to get the blood pumping!

“Perfect, this Equipment Level is 70, which means I can equip it right now.” Cao Xing nodded in satisfaction.

Without hesitation, he clicked “bind” and equipped it.

[Binding successful! Title: Star Picker has leveled up, Luck Value +10…]

…

…

Once he put it on, Cao Xing immediately felt a surge of powerful Ice Attribute Magic Power flooding in, pushing his Spells to a whole new tier!

Aside from the boost in strength, the appearance of this Equipment was also very impressive.

Just like the Extra Effect noted on the Equipment.

Once Cao Xing wore it, a layer of faint Frosty mist surrounded his body.

As he walked, crystalline Ice Crystals would appear under his feet, as if every step were freezing the Earth.

“Nice, this is maxed-out style.” Cao Xing nodded again in satisfaction, a faint smile tugging at the corner of his mouth.

Of course, this Equipment Effect could be turned off at any time, and even those Ice Crystals would disappear after a few minutes.

Otherwise, if he used this Effect outside, it’d basically be broadcasting his location to the enemy.

Meanwhile, a second prompt appeared.

[You have equipped Legendary Equipment: Great Witch Demon’s Frost Soul Robe. Please select a Skill to grant it the “Frost Soul” effect…]
