Immortality Begins With Internal Breathing

”Not good!”

Not far away, Li Guoyao noticed Tang Weizhong’s movements and felt a surge of alarm. He initially wanted to rush in to stop him, but halted again.

”Huh? He actually managed to form a trace of the Dominance true intent seed?” Li Guoyao was astonished.

The fist momentum that had been compressed inside Lin Zheyu’s body erupted all at once. His blood qi surged wildly, and a terrifying aura burst from him.

Bang, bang, bang!

Lin Zheyu’s Barbaric Ox Fist grew smoother and smoother. With the transformed fist momentum, each punch he threw was far stronger than before.

”This is Dominance. This is true Dominance. Even when weak, one must possess an invincible conviction, the heart of a strong one, the courage to strike at the mighty, and the courage to pierce a hole in the sky!” Lin Zheyu murmured.

Comprehending true intent was not something achieved by simply understanding the concept. Without the Dominance true intent contained in the saber intent guiding him, Lin Zheyu might have spent an unknown amount of time trying to rebuild a foundation under that floating, foundationless fist momentum.

”Die!” Tang Weizhong roared madly as his aura surged. The veins across his body bulged as he formed a claw hand and struck fiercely toward Lin Zheyu’s head.

Bang!

Lin Zheyu thrust out his fist. His fist momentum merged with the Barbaric Ox Fist and erupted with terrifying force. A dull crash rang out as he was blasted backward.

”Again!” Lin Zheyu tapped his toes against the ground and charged forward once more, completely unfazed by the fact that Tang Weizhong had used a secret art.

The two clashed again. After using the secret art, Tang Weizhong’s strength had increased dramatically, and Lin Zheyu also began using the blood qi burst technique. Their battle state remained similar to before. No, this time, Lin Zheyu began to counterattack.

Bang!

A muffled thud rang out as Tang Weizhong was struck by Lin Zheyu’s punch and sent flying.

”How is this possible!”

His ferocious face twisted with disbelief. He had already swallowed an Origin Stabilizing Pill and used a secret art. Even failing to crush the opponent instantly was unacceptable, yet now he was actually being pushed toward defeat.

Tang Weizhong had no time to remain shocked. Lin Zheyu charged forward again, his fist momentum growing increasingly terrifying, like an unstoppable great demon. A fear he had never felt before rose within Tang Weizhong.

Bang, bang, bang!

Violent collisions rang out as the two clashed once more. But unlike before, this time, faintly yet unmistakably, Lin Zheyu was taking the upper hand.

The tremendous commotion from their battle startled Li Mengxi out of his meditative recovery. He opened his eyes and looked toward the source of the noise, shock spreading across his face.

What in the world happened?

Li Mengxi stared blankly at the fighting pair. The Tang Weizhong, who had been overwhelmingly suppressing Lin Zheyu, was now being beaten so miserably that he looked utterly wretched.

”Fourth uncle, what is going on?” Li Mengxi asked in confusion. The reversal was far too abrupt.

”This Zhao Hao’s comprehension is astounding. He actually grasped a trace of the Dominance true intent. He may have already formed the true intent seed in his heart,” Li Guoyao said with deep emotion.

Martial artists who could comprehend the Dominance true intent all possessed extraordinarily strong will and temperament. Even if they had not yet fully forged an invincible conviction or the heart of a true powerhouse, they had the potential to do so. Should they grow to maturity, their future achievements would be exceptional.

”Wha... What?” Li Mengxi stammered. His eyes were filled with shock.

Brother Zhao has truly comprehended it. Is this not Zhao Hao’s first time at Heavenly Blade Peak?

Li Mengxi felt a rush of complex emotions: shock, admiration, and shame. And he was far from the only one stunned. The martial artists watching nearby also had their jaws dropped.

”Th... This... How is this possible? How did he do that?”

Li Yunbo stared in shock at the Tang Weizhong now being beaten like a stray dog. His mind still could not process it. Just moments ago, Zhao Hao was being crushed. How had the situation flipped so suddenly?

”What are you babbling about? This is a perfect chance to deepen your comprehension. Why are you wasting time gawking?” Li Yunfeng opened his eyes upon hearing Li Yunbo’s voice and spoke with exasperation.

”L... Look over there!” Li Yunbo pointed ahead.

Li Yunfeng followed the direction of his finger, and his expression froze. He blinked, and his eyes widened bit by bit.

”Am I hallucinating?” Li Yunfeng said in disbelief. He glanced at Li Yunbo, whose face was equally stunned.

”I don’t know either. It’s like he took some potent drug. He suddenly became unbelievably strong and started suppressing Tang Weizhong. Look, Tang Weizhong looks like he’s about to lose!” Li Yunbo shouted.

By now, the battle between Lin Zheyu and Tang Weizhong was reaching its end. The rapidly rising fist momentum on Lin Zheyu’s body finally began to slow and eventually came to a halt.

Bang!

Tang Weizhong was struck again and sent flying. He was still in his secret art state, which he could not maintain for long.

”Damn it!”

Tang Weizhong cursed angrily and turned to flee again. It was not his first time trying to run during this fight, though every previous attempt ended with Lin Zheyu catching up and beating him brutally with the Barbaric Ox Fist. Fortunately for him, this time Lin Zheyu did not pursue.

Tang Weizhong could not help but sigh in relief. But moments later, the realization struck him, and he felt as miserable as if he had swallowed filth. He had actually felt relieved because his opponent did not chase him. The humiliation was so overwhelming that he spat out a mouthful of blood.

So this is the Dominance true intent... Although, since this breakthrough is new, I am still far from transforming it into Dominance true intent, Lin Zheyu thought to himself as he sensed the powerful, transformed fist momentum.

He watched Tang Weizhong flee in disgrace, then turned to the left, where Tang Zhentao was rushing toward them. It was not that Lin Zheyu did not want to continue the chase, but rather that the timing was simply no longer right. Tang Zhentao had arrived, after all.

”Congratulations, young friend,” Li Guoyao said with a smile as he leapt lightly to Lin Zheyu’s side.

”It is only a small breakthrough. It’s nothing worth mentioning,” Lin Zheyu replied with a modest smile.

His clothes were in tatters, and dozens of claw wounds covered his skin, some deep enough to expose bone. He looked quite battered, yet there was not the slightest trace of embarrassment in his eyes or expression. His surging momentum qi was astonishing. Li Guoyao smiled at the sight.

”Your condition is poor right now. Continuing to climb Heavenly Blade Peak to comprehend the saber intent is not suitable. I will have someone escort you back,” Li Guoyao suggested.

”Alright. Thank you, Senior,” Lin Zheyu said gratefully.

The battle and the breakthrough had consumed massive amounts of essence, qi, and spirit. His condition was indeed poor, making it unsuitable to remain here. But his goal had already been achieved. With this breakthrough, his Dominance fist momentum was no longer a rootless tree. It had sprouted new roots that pierced into the soil of his spirit and began to grow vigorously. As long as he continued training diligently, strengthening his inner will and tempering the Dominance fist momentum, it would eventually transform into Dominance true intent.

”Brother Zhao, congratulations,” Li Mengxi said, approaching with a complicated expression.

He intended to return together with Lin Zheyu. Lin Zheyu’s breakthrough had shaken his heart, and his mental state was turbulent. Even if he continued climbing, he would not be able to calm his mind enough to comprehend the saber intent.
