Hogwarts: Even Voldemort Can't Stop Me From Studying

Vid was just about to drink coffee when he heard screams, and immediately stood up alertly, looking into the distance.

Bill remained remarkably calm, smiling as he said, ”Maybe it’s the Ireland Team’s fans causing a new ruckus? It’s hard to imagine their level of craziness.”

Vid didn’t relax upon hearing this; he saw the camp getting increasingly brighter in the distance, with suddenly surging flames lighting up that section of the night sky.

The next second, a deafening explosion came from that direction, followed closely by the sudden rise in people’s screams, becoming dense, terrified, and sharp, countless noisy sounds slicing through the night sky like blades.

”Something’s wrong!” Bill’s eyes suddenly turned sharp, he put down his beer, grabbed his magic wand, and stood up, quickly saying, ”I’ll go check it out, you wake everyone else up!”

Then, with a ”pop,” Bill disappeared from the spot while the not yet fully awake Theo and Leian dashed out of the tent, asking in panic, ”What’s going on? Did something explode?”

”Something happened in the camp.” Vid said gravely, turning around, ”Wake everyone up. We need to move to a safe place.”

The two didn’t ask much, turned around, and dashed into the tent. Not long after, the drowsy crowd came rushing out, Hermione not forgetting to bring her backpack.

By now, the camp was filled with panicked people running around, adults shouting, children crying, all sorts of sounds echoing in the night sky, countless black silhouettes running back and forth, Vid even saw a figure struggling to be sent skyward, only to plummet down suddenly!

Long screams resonated through the night sky, Padma instinctively hid behind Michael’s back, Hermione said nervously, ”What’s going on? Oh, I’m so silly—Lumos!”

The bright light dispelled the surrounding darkness, followed by another ”pop,” Bill appeared again.

”What happened, Bill?” Charlie asked loudly.

”The mascots went crazy.” Bill grabbed Ginny and said, ”Quickly, let’s go to the forest first!”

”What? Mascots?” Harry didn’t understand.

But the next moment, he had no doubts—

A Veela flew over from afar, her beautiful head transformed into a bird’s head, with a sharp bird beak on her face, and a pair of scale-covered wings on her shoulders that allowed her to fly far with just a flap, even her legs transformed into eagle claws.

The Veela, looking like she had turned into a Banshee, appeared completely mad, throwing balls of flame at the camp’s tents, suddenly diving down to grab a wizard attempting to flee, hoisting him up into the sky.

”No—”

The man struggled frantically, letting out a scream of despair.

The Veela carried him up dozens of feet high and suddenly let go of her claws, the man screaming as he fell, and several wizards on the ground hurriedly cast spells trying to catch him, but they were quite off target.

As the person seemed about to hit the ground and become a bloody pulp, suddenly another figure flew diagonally and grabbed the unlucky person.

People barely had time to be relieved before their hearts plunged into an icy lake again.

”Oh, no—”

Padma fearfully covered her eyes.

The figure was unexpectedly Ireland Team’s mascot, a Leprechaun, its body inflated almost to the size of a horse, muscles bulging grotesquely, with a sinister expression as it grabbed the wizard, cackling madly while flying skyward, its face wickedly eerie.

Upon closer inspection, the Leprechaun’s little vest was actually covered in blood, and as it flew over everyone’s heads with the wizard hoisted up, Vid and the others saw the person’s bloodless face, looking as if about to perish.

”Merlin, mascots really went crazy!” Ron murmured.

”Stop watching, let’s go!” Charlie tugged at everyone to run, but Vid suddenly pulled him back.

”No, there’s no time!”

Vid considered the nearby forest being devastated, realizing that the distance needed to shelter in the forest was much farther than everyone thought.

Furthermore, tonight’s forest might not necessarily be safe.

He pulled out a pencil case from his pocket, threw it to the ground, turning it into a wardrobe, and patted Harry on the back, saying, ”Get inside here—quickly!”

Michael glanced at Vid, first pulling Padma inside, and seeing the two of them successfully rush into the wardrobe standing a person high and half a meter wide, Ron’s eyes immediately widened.

Bill’s eyes lit up, immediately pushing Ginny inside, then urged everyone else to quickly enter as well, while Charlie vigilantly watched the sky, preventing sneak attacks from the mascots.

Without a word, everyone rushed in one after another, even Kreacher packed up the Black Family’s tent, dragging the package like a sack, huffing and puffing his way into the wardrobe space.

The only ones remaining outside apart from Bill, Charlie, and Percy, were Vid, the underage wizard. Charlie and Percy were already holding their magic wands, consciously running to deal with the mascots flying chaotically overhead.

”You should hide inside first.” Bill looked at Vid and said, ”I’ll help you hide this thing somewhere safe.”

”No, I can help too.”

Saying this, Vid let a red light and a cloak fly out from the wardrobe space, landing beside him. Then, Vid touched the wardrobe with his magic wand, and it turned back into a pencil case.

The cloak diligently picked up the pencil case and handed it to its owner.

And a small, golden-red bird next to him was turning its head, preening its wings, despite being only the size of a fist, it made Bill feel an extremely lethal danger.

Bill looked at Vid, then at the cloak and Firebird beside him, nodded and said, ”Be careful, protect yourself!”

Then, without hesitation, he ran to assist a witch being attacked by a Veela.

”Mikhail.” Vid looked at the Firebird, whispering, ”Don’t expose your Fiendfyre form, just prevent the attackers from taking off.”

The Firebird let out a cry and flew away. As it reached peak speed, it appeared like a streak of red lightning across the night sky.

Mikhail flew past behind a Veela, the creature’s wings instantly tearing and igniting from the root.

She let out an extremely pained scream, spinning as she fell from the sky, only to be struck by over a dozen spells before landing.

The Firebird then collided with an enlarged Leprechaun, causing the creature to ignite entirely, and within two seconds, the Leprechaun’s inflated body shrank back to its original size.

The flames vanished, and the Leprechaun also flipped its eyes, plummeting straight down from the sky, subsequently being tied up by a rope that appeared out of thin air.

Vid observed for a moment; although most ordinary wizards’ spell levels were disappointing, as long as they didn’t drop their magic wands in panic, they could still handle those mascots Mikhail dropped from the sky.

He was relieved, donned the cloak, then took out the Polyjuice Potion, tossed in a lock of black hair, stirred twice, and drank it all.

Moments later, another ”Harry Potter” appeared in the camp.
