“There’s a snitch in the Fire Glaze Mansion?”

“Does this mean the 13 disciples from the Fire Glaze Mansion were betrayed by their own members?”

“So that’s what happened. It makes sense. I didn’t think the Profound Nether Mansion and the Fire Glaze Mansion would be so bold as to openly defy the rule set by the Ten Major Clans and Top Five Sects.”

Someone scoffed. “Of course they won’t dare to violate the rules.”

Many people sighed when they found out there was a snitch in the Fire Glaze Mansion. They pitied the Fire Glaze Mansion for the predicament they found themselves in.

In the middle realm of the Southern Heaven Ancient Realm.

‘A snitch?’ Wan Qing Qing had learned about the Fire Glaze Mansion’s theory from the Martial Battle Mansion. ‘It seems like no one knows there’s no snitch in the Fire Glaze Mansion. Duan Ling Tian only knew where to find those disciples because I informed him about it…’ Although she knew the truth, she was naturally going to keep it to herself. Otherwise, she would be only shooting herself in the leg if the Fire Glaze Mansion found out she was the one who exposed their disciples’ location. It was in her interest to let the Fire Glaze Mansion misunderstand this matter.

A frown appeared on her face as she thought. ‘The 20 disciples Duan Ling Tian found are only ordinary inner court disciples… Why didn’t he meet Mo Ping Zhi? The Fire Glaze Mansion must have told them to leave!’

Before Wan Qing Qing entered the middle realm of the Southern Heaven Ancient Realm, Mo Ping Zhi had already accumulated more than 100 points and made it into the top 10. She knew he managed to obtain so many points because he had entered as soon as the middle realm opened. She knew luck played a big part in him obtaining so many points as well. Although Mo Ping Zhi was rather strong, he had comprehended the law of water. Therefore, Duan Ling Tian could easily catch him if he tried to escape. Moreover, Duan Ling Tian had also comprehended the Teleportation Profundity. For this reason, she was certain Mo Ping Zhi was no match for Duan Ling Tian. Chills ran up her spine when she recalled how Duan Ling Tian had eliminated Heng Feng. She knew not even the top six Ten Directions Celestial Dukes, who were skilled in different areas such as offensive strength, defensive strength, and movement speed, were incapable of unleashing such power. One of the top six Ten Directions Celestial Dukes whose defenses were as strong as Heng Feng possessed speed that could match hers. Based on this, one could see how powerful he was. Even then, Duan Ling Tian was still stronger.

‘I’m afraid it won’t be easy for Duan Ling Tian to find Mo Ping Zhi now…’ Wan Qing Qing thought to herself.

Indeed. The Fire Glaze Mansion had already sent messages to Mo Ping Zhi and the other disciples telling them to leave as soon as they could.

When Mo Ping Zhi received the message, there were seven disciples next to him. “All of you have received the message, right?”

Mo Ping Zhi was clearly not the leader of this group of disciples. The disciples, including Mo Ping Zhi, looked at a middle-aged man with a medium build and average appearance, silently asking for his opinion. It was clear all of them acknowledged him as their leader.

One of the disciples’ expression was extremely unsightly as he said, “Senior Tan Yuan, you’ve heard the message as well, right? I didn’t expect there to be a snitch among us. I won’t let him go when I find out who he is!”

Another disciple said sarcastically, “What if the snitch is one of the inner court elders? What do you think you’ll be able to do?”

“It can’t be one of the inner court elders. It has to be one of the seven disciples who were eliminated. One of them must have exposed our location!” the disciple with the unsightly expression said confidently.

Mo Ping Zhi stepped forward and said, “Let’s not jump to conclusions before the matter is investigated…”

“Junior Brother Mo is right. Let’s not simply jump to conclusions,” the leader of the group said. He was none other than Tan Yuan, the strongest Ten Directions Celestial Duke in the Fire Glaze Mansion.

“Senior Brother Tan Yuan, should we leave as the messages instructed us or …” Mo Ping Zhi looked at Tan Yuan with eyes burning with battle intent. It was obvious he wanted to disregard the message that was sent to him and fight Duan Ling Tian. He was so bold because he was now with Tan Yuan. If he was alone, he would not entertain the thought of confronting Duan Ling Tian.

Upon hearing this, Tan Yuan said with a smile, “It seems like Junior Brother Mo is eager to meet that outer court disciple from the Profound Nether Mansion.”

“I’m afraid I’m not the only one…” Mo Ping Zhi promptly glanced at the other disciples who were looking at him and Tan Yuan.

Apart from Mo Ping Zhi and Tan Yuan, among the six disciples, only one of them managed to rank in the top 100 in the last decade. His highest rank was 86th place. The rest of them were rather weak; only two out of five managed to rank in the top 100 in the past, and it was mostly due to luck they were able to rank in the top 100.

When Tan Yuan saw the anticipatory gazes of his fellow disciples, he asked with a wide smile on his face, “Are all of you so confident in our collective strength?”

“Senior Brother Tan Yuan, since you and Senior Brother Mo are here, I don’t believe Duan Ling Tian is capable of eliminating all of us!” one of the disciples replied.

“That’s right! We believe in you and Senior Brother Mo.”

“Senior Brother Tan Yuan, let’s wait for Duan Ling Tian. I bet he won’t expect you and Senior Brother Mo to be together,” another disciple said excitedly. It was as though he could already see his two seniors defeating Duan Ling Tian.

Upon hearing these words, Tan Yuan laughed. “Since all you have such confidence in us, won’t it seem like I’m afraid of Duan Ling Tian if I refuse to stay? Alright, let’s stay!” Then, he looked at Mo Ping Zhi and asked, “Junior Brother Mo, what do you think?”

“Senior Brother Tan Yuan, of course, I’ll stay. I really want to meet that outer court disciple from the Profound Nether Mansion whom everyone has been talking about recently,” Mo Ping Zhi replied with a confident smile on his face.

“Junior Brother Mo, Duan Ling Tian must not be simple for him to be able to make a name for himself that quickly. We must not underestimate him when we face him,” Tan Yuan solemnly reminded Mo Ping Zhi.

“Rest assured, Senior Brother Tan Yuan. Although I don’t think he’ll be able to beat us if we join forces, I’ll be cautious and fight with all my strength!” Mo Ping Zhi vowed.

“Very well.” Tan Yuan was relieved upon hearing these words. As the strongest Ten Directions Celestial Duke in the Fire Glaze Mansion, he knew someone like Duan Ling Tian could not be a weakling. Therefore, he would not underestimate his opponent and would fight with all his might. After a moment, he looked at the other six disciples and said, “Brothers, you can stand aside and look out for us or leave when Duan Ling Tian appears. With me and Junior Brother Tan Yuan here, he won’t be able to get to you….”

The other six disciples began to reply one after another.

“Senior Brother Mo, I won’t leave. I’ll stay back and look out for both of you. Moreover, I want to see how you defeat that person from the Profound Nether Mansion.”

“Senior Brother Mo, I’ll stay as well!”

“Senior Brother Mo, I want to watch both of you eliminate Duan Ling Tian!”

The six disciples were adamant about staying back and looking out for Tan Yuan and Mo Ping Zhi. Naturally, they knew Tan Yuan was only being courteous when he asked to be on the lookout. In reality, even if the six of them combined their strength, they were still not a match for Mo Ping Zhi and Tan Yuan, let alone an opponent who was stronger than Tan Yuan.

After the eight of them came to a decision, they stayed in the same place, waiting for Duan Ling Tian to find them.

Meanwhile, the other disciples from the Fire Glaze Mansion within 10 kilometers of their base who were on the way to the designated meeting place received the messages from the Fire Glaze Mansion as well. All of them left immediately, unlike Tan Yuan, Mo Ping Zhi, and the disciples with them.

‘After I eliminate two groups of people, the Fire Glaze Mansion must know I’ve found out about their meeting place,’ Duan Ling Tian muttered to himself inwardly as he continued to search the area within 10 kilometers of the Fire Glaze Mansion’s base. ‘I’ve already searched half of the area. When I finish searching, I’ll return and look for Wan Qing Qing.’

Although Duan Ling Tian did not think he would meet any more disciples from the Fire Glaze Mansion, he decided to complete his search around the area. Due to his decision, he eventually encountered the strong and bold duo, Tan Yuan and Mo Ping Zhi, and six other disciples of the Fire Glaze Mansion.
