“Duan Ling Tian?!”

When the Fire Glaze Mansion elders and disciples finally regained their senses, they turned to look at the scoreboard in unison. They were dumbfounded when they saw Duan Ling Tian’s name had risen to the 19th place with 58 points.

“58 points…”

“If I’m not mistaken, he only had about 34 points before this. This means he gained 24 points from the disciples of the Fire Glaze Mansion!”

“24 points? H-how many of you did he eliminate?”

“He eliminated 23 of us… One of us had two points.”

“That’s right!”

“The most insufferable part was him making a ruckus outside our base, saying he’ll eliminate whoever dares to step out!”

“He’s too arrogant!”

“I’m going to inform Senior Brother Tan Yuan and Senior Brother Mo Ping Zhi about this!”

“If he’s truly as powerful as rumored, I’m afraid even Senior Brother Tan Yuan and Senior Brother Mo Ping Zhi are no match for him.”

“That’s right! Since he dares to do this, I’m sure he has already considered having to deal with Senior Brother Tan Yuan and Senior Brother Mo Ping Zi!”

Someone scoffed. “Who says we have to fight him one-on-one? Ask Senior Brother Tan Yuan to team up with Senior Brother Mo Ping Zhi and the others in the middle realm of the Southern Heaven Ancient Realm!”

“Isn’t that unfair though?”

“Unfair? He is pissing all over our territory, and you dare say we’re being unfair?”

The news about Profound Nether Mansion’s outer court disciple, Duan Ling Tian, making a ruckus outside of the Fire Glaze Mansion’s base and eliminating more than 20 disciples at one go spread in the Fire Glaze Mansion’s estate. Many members of the Fire Glaze Mansion were infuriated when they received news of this. Even the Vice Mansion Master of the Fire Glaze Mansion was enraged.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

One after another messages were sent from the Fire Glaze Mansion to the sites of the Fire Glaze Mansion’s Transporting Formations. The elders at the sites of the Transporting Formations would then relay the message to those disciples who were still in the middle realm of the Southern Heaven Ancient Realm.

Meanwhile, the other grade-six Celestial Mansions had also noticed the change in Duan Ling Tian’s ranking.

“The Profund Nether Mansion’s Duan Ling Tian managed to make it into the top 20 in such a short time?”

“He gained 24 points… I wonder who he eliminated?”

“There is only one person on the scoreboard with 24 points, but he’s not eliminated yet!”

“In fact, no one on the scoreboard has been eliminated.”

“That’s odd. What’s happening?”

Almost everyone was curious about how Duan Ling Tian obtained his points. It was not even mid-month, but he had already accumulated so many points. Even if he did not gain any more points after this, he should still be able to rank in the top 50.

At this moment, an elder said, “Do you remember Duan Ling Tian eliminated roughly a dozen disciples from the Martial Battle Mansion last month?”

“Elder, are you saying Duan Ling Tian eliminated disciples from the Martial Battle Mansion again?”

“Are you stupid? The locations of the bases change every month. It was only a coincidence that Duan Ling Tian found the Martial Battle Mansion’s base last month. Do you think he’d chance upon their base again? How could they be so unlucky?”

“Then… he probably found another grade-six Celestial Mansion’s base, right?”

Everyone was speculating among themselves until they received news from the Fire Glaze Mansion. They were shocked.

“Duan Ling Tian went to the Fire Glaze Mansion’s base and eliminated more than twenty disciples there?”

“I heard he was making a ruckus, saying he’d eliminate those who dare to step outside. Do they have enmity between them?”

“Duan Ling Tian is crazy! He offended the Martial Battle Mansion last time, and now, he has gone to offend the Fire Glaze Mansion!”

“Just watch… The Fire Glaze Mansion won’t let this slide!”

Words of Duan Ling Tian’s deed in the middle realm of the Southern Heaven Ancient Realm continued to spread. Naturally, the Profound Nether Mansion had also received news of it. Many people from the Profound Nether Mansion thought he was too reckless.

“I was wondering how he obtained so many points when no one on the scoreboard was eliminated. Who knew he had gone to the Fire Glaze Mansion’s base and killed those disciples who aren’t ranked on the scoreboard?!”

“Does he have a death wish? He might have obtained a lot of points, but does he really think the Fire Glaze Mansion will let this matter go?”

“Even if the Fire Glaze Mansion can’t do anything to him in the middle realm, they will surely secretly act against him once he comes out!”

“Reckless! He’s way too reckless!”

“That lad…” Qi Tian Ming was stunned as well when he heard about what happened. “Never mind what he did to the Martial Battle Mansion last month since it was a coincidence… The Martial Battle Mansion won’t take the matter to heart since it was a coincidence. However, why would he deliberately provoke the Fire Glaze Mansion and humiliate them?” Hints of worry could be seen in his eyes.

Meanwhile, in a palace hidden by an Illusory Formation in the Profound Nether Mansion’s estate.

A tall and well-built middle-aged man dressed in dark green robes with a majestic and imposing air about him hurried into the palace. He made his way to the backyard immediately, clearly familiar with the place. Half of the backyard was occupied by a lake.

A skinny old man wearing a bamboo hat was fishing by the lake at this moment.

The green-clad middle-aged man stood behind the old man quietly. He only spoke after the old man reeled a fish up and placed it in the basket. “Grand Master.”

The old man who was dressed in a patched robe put his fishing rod aside before he lifted a wine gourd from his waist and drank from it. Then, he asked impatiently, “Why are you here again?”

“Grand Master, it’s about that boy,” the green-clad middle-aged man said, slightly nervous. Although he was the Mansion Master of the Profound Nether Mansion, he was still fearfully respectful when faced with this old man who raised him. The old man’s strength and majesty had left a deep impression on him.

“Oh?” The old man turned around and looked at the green-clad middle-aged man with eyes that had seen the vicissitude of life. This was one of the rare instances where his eyes twinkled with curiosity. “What happened to him?”

“He managed to make it to the 19th place less than a day after he entered the middle realm of the Southern Heaven Ancient Realm… He… he went to the Fire Glaze Mansion’s base and announced he’d eliminate anyone who dares to step out of the base!” the green-clad middle-aged man said with a bitter smile on his face, “Grand Master, are you really going to make him the Imperial Tutor? He’s a troublemaker. He has caused such a big trouble before he even becomes the Imperial Tutor of the Profound Nether Mansion… Once he becomes the Imperial Tutor, I shudder when I think about the trouble he might stir up… Moreover, after my investigations, I discovered he only achieved these feats at such a young age because he consumed the Heaven Sacrificial Divine Fruit…”

The green-clad middle-aged man continued to say, “When he joined the Simplicity Celestial Sect a few years ago, he was just a peak Overarching Heavenly Supreme Celestial. At that time, he hadn’t even comprehended the law of space. It’s all thanks to the Heaven Sacrificial Divine Fruit that he’s a Ten Directions Celestial Duke and is able to comprehend the law of space… He…”

At that point, the old man interjected, “You have said a lot… What are you trying to imply?”

“Grand Master, I just want to say he might not be as remarkable as you think he is.” The green-clad middle-aged man sighed.

“Are you afraid that he would let the position of Imperial Tutor go to his head and act recklessly, and in turn, indirectly harming me?” The old man looked at the green-clad middle-aged man knowingly.

“… Yes.” The middle-aged man nodded.

“Only mediocre people are afraid of stirring up trouble,” the old man said indifferently, “I think we’ll get along quite well… As for becoming the Imperial Tutor of the Profound Nether Mansion, it’ll depend on whether he’s able to pass my test.” After he finished speaking, he no longer paid any attention to the green-clad middle-aged man and continued fishing.

Upon seeing this, the green-clad middle-aged man could only smile bitterly and leave. He did not dare to continue disturbing the old man.

In the middle realm of the Southern Heaven Ancient Realm.

“Duan Ling Tian, aren’t you going to leave? I’m sure the Fire Glaze Mansion disciples whom you eliminated have spread word about what happened here. I’m afraid they’ve already informed the other disciples who are still in here about what happened, and they’re on the way back now to deal with you!” Wan Qing Qing grew even more nervous when she saw Duan Ling Tian had no intention of leaving after eliminating more than twenty disciples from the Fire Glaze Mansion.

After listening to Wan Qing Qing’s Voice Transmission, Duan Ling Tian replied calmly, “No hurry… I will wait for one more day. If no one from the Fire Glaze Mansion comes, we can leave.” Then, he said in an attempt to reassure her, “Don’t worry. I’ll give you more of the points we collect later to compensate you for wasting your time here.”

Wan Qing Qing retorted, “That can only happen if you manage to leave this place alive!”

Duan Ling Tian no longer replied to Wan Qing Qing. Instead, he sat in the air in front of the Fire Glaze Mansion’s base.

“You!” Wan Qing Qing fumed. Before she left, she said, “Fine. I’m going to search around the area for targets and come back after a day to see you… if you’re still alive that’s it…”
