Emperor’s Domination

“Immortal Devourer!” Mirage and Extinguish became alarmed.

“That’s all of them, six immortals.” Goldsilver felt despair.

Devouring Abyss had four immortals and Fallen Ten had two. Now, all six have arrived at Golden Lamp, heralding a terrible calamity.

The duo became alarmed because Immortal Devourer was a golden immortal and more importantly, a deviant.

Before becoming an immortal, rumor has it he had a tough time cultivating. The world had fallen and become Stygian. To avoid being devoured, his faction had to join Devouring Alliance.

They didn’t start the devouring path right away and chose to close their gates, cultivating the normal way.

Netherlight became an immortal while Immortal Devourer took it to the next step, reaching the golden stage. They took their time before revealing their true strength.

Instead of opposing Devouring Alliance, they finally chose the devouring path and ate some immortals.

This was after the decline of Devouring Alliance. Immortal Devourer preferred to devour immortals from this faction, choosing to torture them first.

Some said that eight out of ten immortals eaten were from Devouring Alliance. This mad dog went beyond internal conflicts. Immortal Emperor Gu Chun didn’t care for this as long as there was no violation of his rule.

Thus, members of the alliance feared Immortal Devourer more than outsiders due to his preference.

Some said this was because he had been suppressed by the alliance since his youth. Therefore, it was time to pay back. However, he didn’t choose to join Golden Lamp and resist to the end.

Extinguish and Mirage believed that this man had devoured some of their last surviving immortals, hence their startled expression upon seeing him.

“We’re only here for the world’s heart and are on the same side. This is the way to make Stygian strong again.” Immortal Devourer told the two.

“On the same side?” Extinguish naturally didn’t believe him.

“Funny coming from you.” Mirage added.

Although there was no evidence that he had devoured immortals from Fallen Ten specifically, they distrusted him. Moreover, he also lost face to them just like Netherlight.

They didn’t purposely humiliate the juniors. After all, these juniors trembled and prostrated before them; that was just the natural order of things.

Unfortunately, the tides have reversed at this point. The golden immortal could easily suppress them.

“I am here with sincerity, Fellow Daoists. You should know the right decision.” Immortal Devourer said, emphasizing that he was no longer below them.

“And if we don’t make the right decision?” Mirage asked.

“I’m sure you don’t want Fallen Ten to end under your command.” Immortal Devourer said.

“Hahaha.” Mirage laughed: “It is true that you are stronger than me but for you to end Fallen Ten? There is more than just us two.”

“Talking about Skyshroud? He isn’t here in Stygian and certainly not a member of Fallen Ten.” Immortal Devourer said.

Skyshroud was ancient, rumored to have been invited to Fallen Ten by Zhao Dachui. Thus, he didn’t come from Fallen Ten directly.

During Immortal Emperor Gu Chun’s rise, the other factions didn’t wish to submit. However, he had Skyshroud’s support, accelerating his consolidation of authority.

After the agreement with Immortal Emperor Gu Chun, Skyshroud seemingly vanished. Many believed he had left Stygian.
