Genshin Impact: Spoiling the Future

Paimon discovered this problem and curiously wondered if it’s because Tighnari is too strict, so Collei is always worried about doing something wrong.

[”I also occasionally knock over things on the table while flying, but the Traveler never blames me,” Paimon says.]

Paimon’s ’airheadedness’ acts up again; she’s pressuring Tighnari once more.

Hey hey hey, look how gentle and understanding my Traveler is.

As for what she knocked over? Mostly only Lumine knows, but there’s one thing everyone knows.

Like the Fantastic Compass, the Fantastic Compass, and the Fantastic Compass, and such.

You wouldn’t believe it, but back then, everyone was indeed very gentle; even for such a key item, no one blamed Paimon at all.

And the gentle Lumine just now reconciled with Paimon; the two are sticking together reading the book.

They must stick close; otherwise, Paimon is afraid Tighnari will find trouble with her.

In the book, Collei says her master is also a gentle person; you’ll know after spending time together.

Paimon breathes a sigh of relief; seems like he won’t find trouble with her.

Collei also introduces that her master comes from a very ancient and mysterious race; very smart, but because their ears are too sensitive, most are quite reclusive. Tighnari counts as a rare warm-hearted one.

Tighnari also doesn’t like noise, so he didn’t choose to work in Sumeru City; the reason is: ’Sumeru City is too noisy, bad for the ears.’

But this is actually an excuse; he simply doesn’t approve of the Akademiya’s ideology.

In the end, after completing his studies, Tighnari came to ’revitalize the countryside.’

He originally came to ’revitalize the countryside,’ but in a way Tighnari himself didn’t know, he ’declared himself king.’

The people here and the rangers all see Tighnari as the boss; they can even ignore the Akademiya’s words.

And after hearing Collei’s introduction to Tighnari, the Traveler now has only one thought:

[”Ears... the ears seem really good to touch!”]

[”Right! I think so too!” Collei perks up immediately, agreeing.]

[”Then immediately feels something wrong; she’s shown too obviously, and hurriedly covers it up: ’...Um, cough cough!’”]

The real-life Tighnari looks at Collei; Collei completely doesn’t dare to lift her head.

Lucian... you’re bad!!! You’re bad!!!

Miss Mona didn’t wrong you at all!

You didn’t even tell me there was this content! You clearly told me there would be Master appearing!

Although there is indeed Master... but not like this ahhhh!

I was even looking forward to it so much, wuwu.

But... since it’s already written, will Master let me touch a bit?

She sneaks a glance upward, discovering Tighnari looking at her full of helplessness.

Probably... won’t...

At this moment, Collei a bit understands Mona’s feelings; this might be the closest she’s been to genius.

The book isn’t even finished, but everyone is increasingly empathizing with Mona, even though she hasn’t appeared.

Speaking of which, Lumine is really interested in these fluffy things, but unfortunately, Yae Miko absolutely doesn’t let her touch.

Fortunately, Yae Miko has some conscience and helps her trick Gorou and Kirara, letting her touch.

And Mondstadt’s Diona can also purr under the chin.

Liyue won’t do; not even a cat girl, and the most cat-like Ganyu is busy and not often seen.

As for Ganyu’s horns, those can’t be touched randomly!

Touching randomly has a price; for example, the Paimon in the story touched Collei’s head.

The cause was the Traveler’s coma; Paimon, because she was extremely worried, kept talking nonstop along the way, asking about the reason for the Traveler’s coma, whether there would be problems, and such.

She annoyed Tighnari with her talking, so he scolded Paimon a couple times.

As everyone knows, Paimon has no combat power, but she holds grudges; she usually doesn’t dare say it to his face, so at this time, she has to talk back.

Collei defends her master: She must have annoyed Master.

Paimon: How can caring be called annoying! It should be called ’ruffling’! Isn’t he fluffy?

Then comes some really hard-to-understand words, like it’s all because of caring for the Traveler, guide’s concerns, whether the Traveler is going to die or something; it makes everyone burst into laughter. At this time, their interaction is full of a joyful atmosphere.

Then, Paimon pretends to be annoyed and wants to ’retaliate,’ planning to mess up the Traveler and Collei’s... hair.

Of course, it’s just a joke between friends, but Collei reacts intensely.

[”Don’t touch me!!” Collei shouts loudly.]

[”Ah, I... just now... no, it’s not like that, it’s not...”]

Collei’s such a big reaction makes the readers puzzled; why is that?

Could it be that Collei’s hair is actually a wig? If Paimon rubs it, it might fall off? So she’s so angry?

Or is it because Collei didn’t wash her hair today and is embarrassed for people to touch it?

Or maybe played too much Honkai and can’t stand head pats! (Cross this out).

Um... all very possible.

But exactly why, everyone doesn’t know; Collei has already run away.

In reality, Collei is a bit anxious; the Traveler and the others won’t stop being friends with me because I’m like this, right?

Tighnari pats Collei: ”Don’t worry, it won’t happen.”

He understands Collei very well, so even if Collei doesn’t speak, he can guess Collei’s thoughts.

And for the Traveler, although Tighnari can’t say he understands her very well, after all, he’s watched the stories along the way, definitely different from Collei who hasn’t seen many stories.

Based on Tighnari’s understanding of Lumine and Paimon, those two won’t hold grudges over something like this; they’ll even worry if it’s their own problem.

Because everyone is a good person.

In the story, Collei runs back home; the Traveler doesn’t want to disturb, planning to ask the reason the next day.

[”Early the next morning, Paimon said: ’I thought about it all night yesterday and still couldn’t figure out what was wrong with Collei.’”]

Thought all night, finally didn’t think—it’s not because she figured it out, it’s because it got light.

This sentence itself Collei wouldn’t hear, but because of Lucian’s book, Collei saw it, pressure maxed out!

Clearly Paimon never had such thoughts, but she successfully put pressure on Collei.

This is the ’talent-type pressure monster’; no matter how many times an ordinary person says ’no, bro,’ it can’t compare.

In the story, the Traveler and Paimon come to Collei’s residence to visit Collei, but they meet Tighnari.

Tighnari tells the Traveler that Collei is sick; it’s an old illness, now she’s taken medicine and is sleeping.

Fortunately it’s an old illness; otherwise, it would be hard to explain—Paimon touches once and gets sick; what kind of Breaking Bad is she?

In the story, Paimon is worried if it’s her fault, like her hands aren’t clean or something.

Fortunately, this time it’s not the Traveler who has the problem; she can rationally listen to advice.

After Tighnari explains several times, Paimon finally knows that the source of Collei falling ill isn’t herself.

Collei in her current situation naturally isn’t convenient to disturb, so everyone goes elsewhere together, patrolling the rainforest while chatting about Collei’s old illness.
