Genshin Impact: Spoiling the Future

Ei is the best at handling this kind of problem. Easy to solve—if a subordinate is unfilial, give them a slash first.

If a subordinate is disloyal, brick them into a wall.

A Great Sage, huh? Let’s chat about the rest after you take one of my slashes.

If you can’t take it? If you can’t take it, what’s there to chat about! Not even ashes will be left behind!

As for any potential diplomatic issues that might arise, let Yae Miko deal with the headaches. When in doubt on foreign affairs, ask Yae Miko.

I dare not ask my sister, for fear of being lectured.

Ei has never been one with a good temper; it was just that the previous her had sealed herself away, making her seem indifferent to everything, as if she had a decent temper.

But in fact... if you’re also called Raiden Ei, then her temper is indeed good—the kind that stands straight after a beating and even hands over water after being scolded.

But if you’re not, then you choose.

Choose what? Choose between leaving ashes to be bricked into a wall or not even leaving ashes behind.

Ei has truly changed; she’s become gentler. The previous her wouldn’t have given any choices.

Staying home by choice and being forced to stay home aren’t the same feeling. If it were the previous Ei reading this story, she might not have bothered with such matters.

But sorry, the current Ei has been successively ”trained” by Lucian, Yae Miko, and her sister, and she just happens to have some pent-up frustration in her belly right now.

Moreover, with her sister here in Inazuma, she doesn’t need to worry. With all these buffs stacking up, Ei wants to head to Sumeru!

If she goes to Sumeru and comes back to find her sister has ”usurped the throne,” that would be perfect.

Apart from Ei, even Zhongli frowned upon watching this video, though he was far more composed than her.

This matter should be left to young friend Lucian. Zhongli feels at ease leaving things to Lucian because he knows that if Lucian can’t handle it, he’ll call for reinforcements.

Lucian’s favorite way to solve problems is to call for reinforcements; there’s no need to worry about him stubbornly shouldering everything alone.

Xianyun, unlike Zhongli, isn’t one to keep her emotions restrained. Hers are very outwardly expressed—she slammed the table and stood up immediately.

Without a word, she transformed into an immortal bird, flapped her wings, and was off. Undoubtedly, she was heading to Sumeru.

No one stopped her, because even Zhongli had no intention of doing so.

For adepti, once they’re gone, they’re gone. One must remember that on the surface in Liyue, adepti hold no official rights or political status.

In other words, they’re just socially idle individuals. What’s wrong with going on a trip?

”Give him a couple of hits for me~!” Guizhong shouted.

”And one from me,” Yelan laughed. ”It’d be great if we could drag him back to Liyue, sigh, what a pity.”

The Great Sage might be captured, but it’s impossible to imprison him in Liyue, so Yelan’s methods wouldn’t come into play.

But thinking on the positive side, the methods of the Discipline Officers won’t be any gentler than Yelan’s.

”Carry me! Carry me!” Hu Tao chased after Xianyun; she wanted to ”ride the crane westward.”

Among those who watched it, the Geo folks remained relatively calm—except for Arataki Itto, who had already picked up his massive club.

”Let me go! I’m going to Sumeru right now!” Itto gnashed his teeth.

He didn’t know Nahida, but he couldn’t stand for this! Especially since Nahida looked like a child—Itto was truly about to explode with rage.

Moreover, the animation revealed a piece of information: the Traveler knows Nahida. The Traveler’s friends are Itto’s friends! He must go!

He was so indignant that veins bulged on his forehead. If not for his underlings holding him back out of fear that he’d hurt them with too much force, he would’ve charged out long ago.

The three underlings clung to Itto. ”Kuki Shinobu, big sis, quickly think of a way to talk the boss down!”

Kuki Shinobu spoke up: ”Unfortunately, this time I’m on the boss’s side.”

”Huh?” The three underlings were stunned.

In their shock, they forgot to keep their grip firm. As soon as they let go, Itto toppled straight to the ground.

When Itto was being held back, he hadn’t dared to use full strength at all—he’d been exerting force while constantly restraining himself. This led to an imbalance in his power once they released him, and he couldn’t steady himself right away.

Itto looked up from the ground, not bothering to get up yet, but staring at Kuki Shinobu in surprise.

”Shinobu, you don’t think I’m being impulsive this time?”

Kuki Shinobu nodded: ”It’s still impulsive, but I approve.”

How could Kuki Shinobu, as someone who pursues freedom, tolerate Nahida’s plight?

She also knew this matter probably didn’t need their involvement—if it did, Lucian would definitely come to ”conscript” them.

But even if they weren’t needed, they still wanted to go, entirely of their own volition.

Because this story was truly: throwing a brick into a public toilet—inciting public outrage.

”This time, I approve too. Give him a couple of hits for me,” Kujou Sara said.

She was also filled with indignation, but due to her status, she couldn’t go to Sumeru and stir things up like Arataki Itto.

The Shogun of Inazuma and an idle civilian of Inazuma were not the same concept at all.

Kujou Sara had no idea that in Tenshukaku, the General she so revered was, at this very moment, just like Itto—gripping her sword and planning to head to Sumeru.

It was fortunate she didn’t know; otherwise, Kujou Sara would already be assembling troops.

If the General says to go, then they go!

Kujou Sara’s philosophy was that, as the General’s subordinate, her role shouldn’t be to obstruct the General, but to assist.

As long as the General desired it, all she needed to think about was how to make it happen—and nothing more.

Naturally, Yoimiya, sitting nearby, felt the same anger as everyone else. Watching the chaotic Arataki gang beside her actually gave her an impulse to go along with Itto.

How could they treat a child like this! The big sister Yoimiya, who adores children, couldn’t tolerate it.

Though the current Nahida was already five hundred years old, she’d only just been born when she was imprisoned! If that wasn’t a child, what was?

Unfortunately, big sister Yoimiya wasn’t the combative type and figured she couldn’t be of much help.

But if Itto really went, she’d follow along to take a look.

Ayaka remained silent. If Itto went to Sumeru, she was willing to provide sponsorship.

As for Mondstadt, hardly anyone was heading to Sumeru because they were almost all official personnel.

Even setting aside the influence, the heavy workload wouldn’t allow them to stay in Sumeru for long.

Even in Natlan, Chasca planned to sneak a look at the situation, while Mondstadt only had a few adventurers.

On Mondstadt’s side, the highest combat power available was Diluc, who could go take a look—but Master Lu was also very busy and didn’t have much time for Sumeru.

But no worries—their Archon, the Anemo God—Venti—would go check it out for them!

What Anemo God? Never heard of him. Venti here is just a humble bard, a socially idle individual peeking at the excitement—what’s wrong with that?

As for Chasca, in the story, she saw ”contradiction”—that was her feeling after watching.

The Dendro God wasn’t without ways to break free from such bindings, but she was too kind; she couldn’t bear to strike against her own people, so she was ”contradictory.”

The Great Sage was equally contradictory: imprisoning the divine while thirsting for the divine—truly putting the cart before the horse after taking off one’s pants.

Chasca could certainly empathize with this ”contradiction,” so she wanted to ”mediate.”

As for the last nation, ”Snezhnaya,” they too were sending someone. Who, you ask?

Fool, hasn’t the ”Doctor” always been there?
