I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1625 22.12 Third Red Star - Hei Anjing and the World Eater

After the God of Destruction left the dream world, he woke in reality and saw the unknown ceiling he didnʼt recognize. He reached out and felt his hand touching something. Only then did he realize that he was inside a clamshell bed for little mermaids.

Hei Anjing recalled what happened. When he fainted from overfatigue, he wasnʼt completely asleep at that time. He can hear what happened in the room as he had his eyes closed. It was then that he realized that someone else had taken over the body of his beloved once again and had a guess of who was capable of doing such a thing.

There is only one person in this world capable of doing such a thing. The original world eater, An Shizhe.

The moment Hei Anjing opened his eyes, he pushed open the clamshell bed and was welcomed by the smiling General Ye. The Chief Warden and Warden Yun, as well as Zhi Yue, were all present. They were no longer at the hospital but in the mansion owned by the general.

General Ye says, ”Youʼre awake, darling.”

The God of Destruction didnʼt react much and just stared at him with an expressionless face. The moment the two wardens and Zhi Yue saw the God of Destruction acting like they made them guess what had happened.

Hei Anjing said, ”Why did you steal my other halfʼs vessel once again?”

The smiling, gentle face of General Ye changed into a playful smirk. General Ye answered,

”Who told him to have the best compatibility with me? Plus, he is my strongest soul fragment. What is wrong with me taking back what is originally mine?” said the World Eater.

Hei Anjing morphed into his human form and came out of his aquarium. In his human form, he is no longer in his small size but in his original size and body.

The World Eater, An Shizhe, stares at him as he turns to his original form. The smile on the world eater seems to fade a lot upon Hei Anjingʼs real appearance. The God of Destruction had never looked the same as the Ancient God of Chaos.

It didnʼt take long for the smile on General Yeʼs face to fade. He reached out a hand and pinched Hei Anjingʼs cheeks like a bully who kept playing on someoneʼs cheeks.

The World Eater, An Shizhe, said, ”Why do you not look the same as before? Though this face is beautiful itself, I am not used to it, Hunluan.”

Sigh~

Hei Anjing hits the hands, pinching his cheeks red, forcing the latter to remove his fingers from him.

The God of Destruction said, ”How many times do I need to tell you that I am not Hunluan?”

”Impossible! You have his aura and energy of chaos in you! Stop playing around, Luanʼer,” said General Ye as he was about to reach out his hand to touch Hei Anjing but halted when he heard his words.

Hei Anjing said, ”Have you never questioned why you couldnʼt kill the original owner of that vessel and that stolen qi on you? This is already the second time you have stolen his powers, but you failed to kill him.”

”What are you talking about? I didnʼt fail to kill your lover. I just chose not to kill him,” said the world eater.

Hei Anjing said, ”You are wrong. Itʼs just you cannot kill him at all. Like how you cannot harm me the same way. You already know in your heart that I am not Hunluan, but keep on denying as you donʼt want to lose your own clue to find where he is.”

As expected, when the God of Destruction said these words, the World Eaterʼs demeanor had completely changed. He is no longer nonchalant but completely becomes serious. He put his hands down, and the smile at the corner of his lips disappeared.

As Hei Anjing said, he couldnʼt bring himself to harm him and couldnʼt kill Ye Xiajie no matter what. An Shizhe couldnʼt understand the reason why, but he also guessed that only the young man with Hunluanʼs aura before him knew where he was.

The World Eater walks away and takes a seat on the nearby single couch. Seeing him approaching the two wardens, Zhi Yue moved to the side of the god of destruction, where they felt they were safe.

An Shizhe said, ”You know where Hunluan is, right?”

The God of Destruction nodded his head and said, ”But right now, you and him arenʼt ready to meet each other yet. You also feel that itʼs dangerous for you to meet him right now.”

”Why do you say so?” asked An Shizhe.

Hei Anjing said, ”Resentment Souls of the Ancient Gods you killed had started to wake up. The ones who you sealed with your death and the insanity you had stripped away from your soul.”

”Why do you say I canʼt meet Hunluan?” asked the World Eater.

Hei Anjing said, ”Because those resentment souls need to eat his power to regain their original sanity as they died because of him.”

”Alright. I believe that you are not Luanʼer. Even Luanʼer didnʼt know about that reason. Now I am more interested in who you and that other half of yours are and why you know so much about me and Luanʼer,” said the World Eater.

An Shizhe and Hei Anjing exchanged gazes. But one between lovers, but the kind that tried to see through one another. Hei Anjing remained composed the whole time, and An Shizhe couldnʼt see through him at all.

A playful smirk appeared at the corner of Hei Anjingʼs lips and said, ”How about you guess?”

Sigh~

The World Eater said, ”This playful personality of yours is very similar to mine, but your stubbornness of not saying anything even if I kill you is like Luanʼer. If not because you donʼt look like us and I know that you are a youngling, I would have thought that you are his and my children.”

Hei Anjing remained silent at these words.

An Shizhe added, ”That lover of yours has the same short temper as me and the carelessness of Luanʼer when it comes to the matters of his life. You should look after him more closely.”

”I will,” said Hei Anjing.

The World Eater mumbles, ”What a tough nut to crack. So much like my Luanʼer.” He disappeared into the room, and only his voice lingered for a while, saying the following words.

”Your lover should be awake. He will be back soon. Since we look so similar, he can still act as General Ye in this world with his current body. Stay away from the resentment souls of those old bastards. With how similar your aura is to Luanʼer, they would definitely mistake you for him,” said the World Eater, An Shizhe.

The moment the world eater disappeared, the two wardens and Zhi Yue took a deep breath. The pressure around that person is so suffocating that none of them dares to breathe loudly.

Warden Yun asked, ”Master, why did the world eater appear by your side?”

”He wanted to check if I knew where Hunluan was before he could focus on doing what he wanted. He was not our enemy,” said the God of Destruction.

The Chief Warden asked, ”Then why did he steal the vessel meant for my lord?”

”Thatʼs right. He is so powerful that he didnʼt need to take the lordʼs vessel,” said Zhi Yue.

Hei Anjing said, ”Because as the world eater he is hated by all world wills. They feel pressure from him, the kind when a prey meets his predator. Thatʼs why he can steal someoneʼs body. It just so happens that AʼXiaʼs vessels in this world are completely compatible with him. Thatʼs why he keeps on targeting that careless husband of mine.”

Warden Yun Ming thought for a moment and asked, ”Then why is his soul so compatible with Lord Ye? Are all his other fragments the same?”

”No. Only Xia had that compatibility. The other world eater fragments are just his prey,” said the God of Destruction.

Warden Yun Ming asked, ”Master, what is truly your and Lord Yeʼs relationship with the Ancient God of Chaos and the World Eater?”

”Why do you forgive him when he has stolen Lord Yeʼs vessel? You also allowed him to approach you. Normally, you will kill anyone who dares to do such a thing,” asked the Chief Warden.

All three of them were waiting for the answer of the God of Destruction. Theyʼve noticed that he is giving that man a bit of a leeway. Though it wasnʼt as doting when he treated the God of Void, these small actions were surprising themselves. After all, the God of Destruction is only kind towards his beloved and family.

Itʼs impossible for the world eater to be Lord Hei Anjingʼs man, as theyʼve met the Ancient God of Chaos, Hunluan, for the last time. So are they related somewhere? Family? But how?

Hei Anjing said, ”You will understand in the future.”

”For now, focus on the situation at hand. The fact that he didnʼt come for Hunluanʼs soul fragment in this world is weird enough. Donʼt believe in any words the soul fragment of Hunluan says.”

”But Master, how can we bring away the soul fragment if we are not going to approach it?” asked Warden Yun Ming.

Hei Anjing said, ”There is no need to approach him. He will come to us on his own. After all, I am the only one who can sever his connection to this world.”
