I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1622 22.9 Third Red Star - Sea God

In the Main Cityʼs Hospital. General Yeʼs Private Room...

After the general woke up, the military had finally gained their confidence and started ignoring the pressure from the royal family and blocked all that they were trying to bypass through the militaryʼs command. When the general was out of order, those hyenas started walking through them without care, as they did not have a leader who could suppress them.

But now that the general was awake, those who tried to use the military had all been punished. There are those who were dealt with the death penalty, especially those involved in the illegal creation of little mermaids.

Creating artificial mermaids was allowed; however, the facilities must pass the threshold of the military. The subjects for creation must not be taken from the ocean, as this will cause the treaty between the land and water to be broken.

Thatʼs why last nightʼs auction was considered illegal, as the military found a mermaid egg that was disassembled into pieces and made countless artificial little mermaids with it. Thatʼs why an especially powerful little mermaid like Hei Anjing was born among the group and was treated as the king of little mermaids.

Well, with how powerful he is, the humans still look down on him. After all, he is only a little mermaid with the size of their fist. These turns were flipped over though when he showed his ability to kill humans. It was simple, fast, and almost unblockable.

Those who died had deserved it. The God of Destruction only needs to see through their memories and learn what they have done to their little mermaids. Most of the people in the crowd at the auction hall said that knights were good humans who cared for their little mermaids, and a few abusers and torturers of little mermaids were also found.

After these abusers were killed, the tortured little mermaid smiled and thanked their king. Some of these little mermaids had escaped and returned to the oceans, and the others died peacefully, returning to the oceans for rebirth.

The general who finally woke up was staring at his sleeping little mermaid in his hands. He was listening to the report from his subordinates about what happened while he was asleep.

Lieutenant Shaka said, ”Lord general, the royal had been pressuring the military to give up its position after you fell into a coma. As for the traitor who had told your situation to the royal, he had been captured and tortured.”

”Lou Wuye sent a final warning to the royal family. A few nobles were captured together with a record of their crimes and punishment, right? Push ahead those that need to be executed so the public can see what kind of nobles stood above them,” said General Ye Xiajie. ”Also, execution for those involved with illegal selling of unrecorded little mermaids.”

Colonel Lou Wuye saluted and left the room to do as he was told. Of course, Yun Ming left with him. After the colonel had left, the Lieutenant wanted to approach the general and ask his state.

But as soon as he saw the sleeping little mermaid in his hand, he recalled how this gorgeous, doll-like little mermaid killed people without batting an eye. He immediately stepped back. The general noticed his reactions and didnʼt care much.

General Ye said, ”I heard that you had suggested going to that auction house and even invited Colonel Lou with you. Normally, according to the protocol, you should be dismissed from work because of breaking it. However, it was thanks to this that I woke up and punishment was, and you wonʼt be receiving any rewards for it.”

Lieutenant Shaka was startled at first and then terrified next only when the general gave him a word that there would be no punishment that he sigh in relief.

”Thank you, General!” said Lieutenant Shaka.

General Ye said, ”You may leave.”

After Lieutenant Shaka had left the room, the supposed-to-be bedridden General stood up straight without any problems with his body. He used light elements to remove the fatigue on him and gently created a small nest for his beloved to fall asleep.

Zhi Yue, who was quiet the whole time, turned into his human form and asked the lord about Zhi Yang.

”My lord, where is Zhi Yang?” Zhi Yue asked.

The God of Voidʼs face turns cold. He recalled what happened to him as soon as he entered this world together with the rest of them. As soon as they split up to find an identity to stay in this world, he was intercepted at the ocean area and his soul was captured and split up. Half of it was chained under the ocean and the other half was left to wander in the land.

As if the whole ocean has a mind itself, he was not only caught off guard but also overpowered. Recalling the soul fragments of the Ancient God of Chaos, Hunluan, Ye Xiajie immediately knew that the one who caught him was the Sea God that caused this world into the brink of destruction.

The Sea God had spoken. {Doth not intʼrfʼre! The only way fʼr me to leaveth this wʼrld is fʼr t to beest did destroy. Yond sir hast woken up and that gent shall forsooth findeth his remnant fragments liketh thou art and englut thee to receiveth stoutʼr. This is the only way to preventeth that gent from finding thee. Thee wilt only waketh up at which hour the destruction is beside thee}

Translation: [Do not interfere! The only way for me to leave this world is for it to be destroyed. That man has woken up, and he will definitely find his remnant fragments like you are and devour you to get stronger. This is the only way to prevent him from finding you. You must only wake up when the destruction is beside you.]

{I wanteth not to cometh backeth yet. As I havenʼt cleansʼd the filth in this wʼrld as mine own mission. Alloweth me bʼrrow this dram guy. I needeth to contact someone from the uppʼr realm. Wʼrry not. I shall alloweth that gent returneth to thee lief.}

Translation: [I donʼt want to come back yet. As I havenʼt cleansed the filth in this world as my mission. Let me borrow this little guy. I need to contact someone from the Upper Realm. Donʼt worry. I will let him return to you soon.]

After taking Zhi Yang away, the God of Void entered a coma until he was awakened by his wife, who came for him in his soul domain.

After hearing the explanation from his lord, Zhi Yue was slightly relieved. After all, it was the fragment of the Ancient God Hunluan who borrowed Zhi Yangʼs connections to the Nether System, and itʼs most likely to ask permission to speak to the soul of the Ancient God of Chaos, Hunluan staying in the upper realm.

The God of Void said, ”Donʼt worry about Zhi Yang. He will be alright no matter what. He had signed a soul contract with me and Jingʼer. Unless we both die, you and Yang will remain immortal. He will be back soon.”

Zhi Yang said, ”Thatʼs a relief. But what happened to Lord Hei?”

”Expanded his soul too much just to find my split soul in the ocean. That soul was sealed with divine-sealing chains. He used Juedi in his soul form to cut one of the chains off, and only then did I wake up,” Ye Xiajie responded.

Zhi Yue asked worriedly, ”Will Lord Hei be alright?”

”Donʼt worry. He is just tired and overused his qi. He will wake up after a night of rest. Zhi Yue, investigate the situation in this city. Do not go to the ocean,” said the God of Void.

Zhi Yue returned to his avatar form and flew away to do his mission. After he left, the General looked after the sleeping little mermaid. A smile and a gentle one were shown on his handsome face. The coldness he had shown before is now gone. Within that pair of crimson eyes is a darkness that shouldnʼt be there.

---

Somewhere within the ocean, the God of Sea was located somewhere under it, surveying every water region. The Sea God is a huge mermaid with a silver tail and amethyst eyes. His size was at least as large as a small mountain. He was surrounded by large sea mammals like whales, dolphins, and such. However, he is cradling a black clam in his hands.

The whale spoke to him, ”Sea God, is that thing still sleeping?”

”Itʼs asleep. Let him rest a bit more. His soul was almost devoured, but he is resilient,” the God of Sea said.

A dolphin asked, ”Master, why did you save that thing? That one isnʼt even a human.”

”Because it is my fault that he was caught off guard. Maybe I shouldnʼt have split his soul and let the other half fly back to the land unattended. Now his state is like this in deep sleep. That crazy one will get angry if he learns about this,” said the God of Sea. The last sentence was whispered in remorse.

A little sun was hovering around the black clam and asked, ”Then who took over the Lordʼs body?”

”Someone evil. You need to warn your companions,” said the God of the Sea.
