I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 193: 6.54 Third Green Star - Hidden Agendas within the base

These are the events that took place within the base before Ximen Xueya and his husband had returned to the Z District Base. It was the scene when the original Su Liye had just returned from a mission and killed the bastard that used his family members as bait. The ending of that black-hearted policeman and his mercenary group is to become the zombiesʼ meal after Su Liye and his two subordinates took their leave with the seeds from their mission.

Their return had caused a commotion in the base. After all, the whole mercenary lead by Liu Ling never returned and among the mission takers for bringing back the seeds, only three people had returned. Only Su Liye and a married couple, who worked for him. The soldiers guarding the entrance were frightened when they opened the gates to the base and met Su Liye in an extremely bad mood at that moment.

It didnʼt take an hour for the news about the demise of Liu Ling and his group to spread in the base, especially at the top authorities of the three factions.

”I heard from Liu Ling that the Noble Faction backs had died under the hand of the man named Su Liye.”

”Theyʼve said that Liu Ling killed the manʼs family and ended up getting killed himself.”

”But theyʼve said none of the mercenaries under Liu Ling had returned. Only the man named Su Liye and his two subordinates did.”

”Is that for real? I heard Liu Ling is almost level 3. He really died!?”

”Shit! Does this mean that Su Liye is stronger than Liu Ling!?”

”Fuck! This is so amazing. Except for Boss Shi who is already Level 3, he has a friend who is also at the same level.”

”Would the Noble faction turn a blind eye over this!?”

”I donʼt think so.”

”I heard a group of clan leaders is coming over to the leaderʼs office to talk.”

”Isnʼt this bad for Boss Shi?”

”No shit! The boss has Yun Suisen, the butler of the Ximen Family and Old General Sun would him. They wonʼt directly touch them. The real problem is Su Liye.”

”Sigh~ what a waste of talent.”

”Indeed. This is... quite unexpected.”

This kind of daily conversation was exchanged in every corner of the Hope Base. The old leaders of the Noble Faction really wanted to have Su Liye and his group executed but Old General Sun greatly disagreed. With him backing Shi Moye, Su Liyeʼs punishment ended within only a house arrest for one month. This is the same for Su Liyeʼs people. They were all put under arrest.

The military faction had to surrender half of its resources to the Noble Faction just to have Su Liye and his group spared. Shi Moye didnʼt think twice and did the exchange to save his friend.

The friction between the two factions had continued for months until they got the news that the great general from the central city would be coming over to their base soon. The first one to get the news is the military faction, because of this Shi Moye, Yun Suisen and Su Liye decide to have their own party in Shi Moye and Yun Suisen place. Partying all night without a care for the other factions.

On the same night, Yun Ren at the Yun Clan mansion was watching the joyous event from his house veranda. He looked at them with envy in his eyes. Staring especially at his elder brother Yun Suisen, the biological son of his current father, Yun Lu. Of course, the Yun Clan leader wasnʼt informed about Yun Suisenʼs real identity. He only thought that since the child is surnamed Yun, it made him a member of his Yun Clan.

It didnʼt take a while for Yun Lu to notice that his son Yun Ren was looking at Yun Suisen like he wanted to speak with him. Because of this, the doting old man had made sure to always bring his son whenever he came over to meet Shi Moye. This will allow his son to have more time to spend with Yun Suisen even with the pretense of work. What this old man didnʼt know is that his adopted son wanted to end the life of his real son.

Those opportunities allowed Yun Ren to be able to enter the personal space of the couple. Yun Ren acted like a friendly little brother towards Yun Suisen and Shi Moye. The couple doesnʼt want any conflict and they never think that theyʼve possessed something worthy of stealing, thus they allowed the young lad to roam around their territory unhindered.

Things were getting better within the base. Though the authority within the place is split into three factions, there is still minimal stability and coordination between factions.

One evening the factions had decided to have a banquet. This is to check on each other whether they are planning something before the real leaders of the base returns. They were gauging each otherʼs intentions with a smile imprinted on their faces. This is especially true among the elders of each faction. Theyʼve started acting like scheming foxes while wearing an intentional smile on their wrinkled face.

Su Liye murmured, ”Whoa~ look at their faces~ itʼs even twitching~ how lame.”

”Shss! Our old general isnʼt that much different,” whispered Yun Suisen back.

Shi Moye, who was used as a blockage wall by the two murmuring idiots behind him. ”You know that they can still hear you even if you guys whispered your words right?” said the talking human wall.

When Yun Suisen and Su Liye raised their heads and peek from behind Shi Moye, they were given countless eyes from the old men saying that they could leave the place to sleep. Yun Suisen and Su Liye looked at each other before exchanging a nod and grabbed each of Shi Moyeʼs arms.

”Letʼs go!” said Su Liye.

Yun Suisen spoke, ”Come over to the room. Letʼs play mahjong. Grabbed Yun Ren as well.”

”W-Wait... Iʼm still the leader, I canʼt just leave...” said Shi Moye.

The two responded at the same time, ”Leave it to the old man (Uncle Sun)!”

”You two!”

Before Shi Moye could speak more words Yun Suisen and Su Liye had grabbed him and ran away. Of course, they didnʼt forget to drag Yun Ren with them on their way out. The adults ignored them as usual but what others didnʼt notice is that the eyes of Old General Sun turned cold when he watched those young men leave the venue. His eyes flash with hints of silver for a split second before it returns to a normal shade of brown.

Meanwhile, the four young men who ran out of the venue were having a conversation with a relaxed demeanor in some buildingʼs hallway. They were on their way to the place where Shi Moye and Yun Suisen live. The three happily walked inside the room and took the things used to play mahjong. Among the group, only Yun Ren stood where he was waiting for these three to assemble a mahjong table.

While waiting at the sideline, Yun Ren remained silent the whole time. But in his mind, Yun Ren is currently having a conversation with a system called black butterfly. This thing called itself a system. It suddenly appeared within Yun Renʼs mind one day. It said it feeds through his negative emotions like envy, greed, hatred, and jealousy. After explaining the reason why he had chosen him, Yun Ren heard that there is a way for him to end this cruel world.

A way to cure the ongoing apocalypse. Yun Ren didnʼt believe it in the beginning. But after completing a few missions provided by the system, he was able to enjoy the rewards of fast level-up opportunities for his ability. He even awakened a second ability after his first ability which is water. The second ability he awakened is wind and this all thanks to completing tasks provided by the system.

Now, he received a new task. This is a mission that involves saving the world and ending the apocalypse. Thanks to the system egging him all the time, Yun Ren had awakened a weird complex. It is called the God Complex.

[Dear host. Please complete your mission as this worldʼs savior. You must end the lives of the three sinners who prevent you from becoming the hero.]

Yun Ren replied in his mind, ”I... I need to kill... t-them? No way! I canʼt become a murderer. I cannot even defeat them. Much less kill them!”

[My host, there is no need to make it bloody. You can do it without seeing blood. Didnʼt you check on our system mall before? There are lots of items in the mall that will be helpful for you to complete your missions.]

”Is there something like that in the system mall? How come I didnʼt see it the last time?”

[Your level before is too low. Now that youʼve become a level 2 dual ability user, that part of the mall has been unlocked for the host to enjoy.]

”Go show me then. I want one that will leave no traces on me. Something that would take their lives but doesnʼt harm me at all. Itʼs better if they die in their sleep. Painless and fast.”

Yun Ren while wallowing in his haughtiness and arrogance didnʼt even hear the system in his mind snort at him. He is too absorbed in looking through the system mall and didnʼt notice the strangeness of the system in his head. In the end, the system had suggested an incense that had a forest aroma which had a relaxing effect yet deadly. As long, one is exposed to this smell in 6 hours, one would never wake up and the heart would stop beating when the hours passed.

Yun Ren redeemed the incense. The black butterfly system had suggested this item because Yun Suisen likes this type of thing. After spending time under the roof of the wealthy Ximen Family, buying a special type of incense had been added to his job. The original Ximen Xueya likes the incense aroma spreading in his house, especially one with relaxing and sleep-inducing effects.

The original Yun Suisen thought that this incense from his younger brother to be a simple housewarming gift for them. Who would have thought that it was a gift from hell which took the lives of not only him but also the lives of his lover and his friend.

It was on this day that the three crucial characters of this world had died all at the same time. On the same evening after the souls of the three had left their vessels, someone else had taken over their bodies. Tuzi had entered Yun Suisenʼs body. Warrior Lang took over Shi Moyeʼs vessel while Su Liyeʼs body had been out under the control of Xiong. Theyʼve all woken up at dawn suffering from dizziness and nausea.

”Blergh~ AʼXi that disgusting smell. Throw that incense! Itʼs making me want to puke!” said Yun Suisen as he ran towards the bathroom to puke as he said.

On the other hand, Shi Moye had opened all the windows in the room and used his vesselʼs ability to control the wind and remove all the smell left behind by the dangerous item that took the lives of the original three. Su Liye on the other hand had poured a glass of wine on the incense and instantly turned it to ashes.

Su Liye spoke, ”This aroma is mixed with scentless deadly poison. No wonder the original three died in their sleep.”

Shi Moye took a cigarette from the side table and smoked one. ”Want some?” he offered a stick to his other lover. Ever since the two of them became mates of Tuzi from the last world, theyʼve treated each other with the same importance as they treated their wife. The two were like twins in the kind.

”Thanks. After our wife finished puking we should take a bath and remove the residual smell just in case. Though I wouldnʼt affect us, the other people in this world would also die if exposed to this poison.” said Su Liye.

Shi Moye agreed and said, ”Isnʼt that kind of item with special use that can only be bought with points through the system mall?”

”Sigh~ Lord Baojun had transferred us into an A rank world directly. Thankfully our souls had 100 percent protection in this star. Weʼll be safe no matter what happens in this world.” said Su Liye.

”I heard there are three destroyers in this place. Thankfully, the boss and his wife are also here. I wonder how big our nephew is right now.”

”Youʼre talking about Xiao Jing? We can just ask the system bound to the three of us,” said Su Liye as he suddenly calls upon the system the three of them shared.

The system that got bound to them is someone the God of Reincarnation had chosen personally. The system had a lotus avatar as it floats in front of Su Liye who summoned it. The three of them called their system Xiao Hua (Little Lotus).

”Xiao Hua. We would like to know the current situation, our identity, our friendsʼ identity, and Xiao Jingʼs current vessel.”

Report End.]

It was at this right timing that Yun Suisen had finished gurgling after puking everything the body had eaten before. He heard the whole report of Xiao Hua as their minds are connected to the system the three of them shared.

Yun Suisenʼs reaction to the report.

”Wow, ~ Baobao and Xiao Jingʼs vessels in this world are badass as usual. The boss is not bad as well~”

Narcissistic Personality Disorder, the proper term for some who have a ”God Complex” is a rare mental disorder characterized by an inflated sense of self-importance, entitlement, a deep need for admiration, and an alarming lack of empathy for other people.
