I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 155: 6.16 Third Green Star - Cao Junyeʼs Past and Secret

After waiting for an hour the group led by Uncle Wu had finally returned to the unit followed by a few males and females, old and young together with some soldiers from the upper seat had arrived.

Uncle Wu spoke, ”General, we had returned. The highest authority among the survivors is Old General Sun. Sadly, the State Head had indeed...”

”Good work. Rest for a while until those who looked for resources to return.” replied Cao Junye.

”Yes, General!” the soldiers said.

Among the survivors only General Sun and a lady which is called Sun Ruolan had approached General Cao. Lady Sun is the State Headʼs only daughter though she is an illegitimate child and thought the old leader didnʼt like her as much as he cares for his nephew, Ximen Xueya. She was still allowed to live in the State Palace.

This Lady Sun is General Caoʼs admirer since before Cao Junye had become a General. Old General Sun on the other hand is the State headʼs little brother. But unlike the State Head this Old General had no offspring nor lovers. He is a celibate after becoming impotent in the battlefield.

Upon seeing General Cao in front of her, Lady Sun with tears converging her eyes had run towards Cao Junye as if seeing her lover. Though she indeed treated the General as her lover in her daydreams. After experiencing the cruelty of the apocalypse her common sense had blurred.

”Junye!!!~~ Youʼre here to save me!!” yelled Lady Sun as she wanted to hug General Cao.

Cao Junye looked at the crazy woman running towards him. Thereʼs an indifferent yet disgusted expression on his face while one of his hands roaming around his coat looking for something. His dull purple eyes were lifeless and the gaze he used to look at Lady Sun is like looking at a dead person. Indifferent and uninterested.

The scene of a woman suddenly jumping towards their general is a common event especially whenever General Cao visits the State Palace. The culprit of those countless attempts is the same lady before them.

This Lady Su has always been the Generalʼs avid admirer. Wang Lei and Lou Lan watch the scene as if looking at a certain play while the other soldiers were in awe at how crazy this woman dared to jump at their General.

The General Cao that the military knows is a stern person who is feared by both male and females of all ages. In their whole life the only people their General had treated differently are only two. The Ximen father and son, Ximen Xueya and Ximen Chino.

Now that the apocalypse had begun and laws were already broken adding the fact that Master Ximen and his son are still missing obviously everyone from the Unit Alpha knew how bad their generalʼs mood is. If not for fulfilling his last duties to the State Head, the General wouldnʼt even waste his time to come here and save these people.

Everyone from Unit Alpha was waiting for a good show. While Old General Sun was frightened when this stupid niece of his, suddenly jumped on that dangerous person known as General Cao. In the whole military and government, General Cao only listens to the orders of the State Head and the Prime Minister. Now that both are gone, the shackles that held back this man no longer exist. The law no longer exists in his eyes.

As theyʼve expected before Lady Sun could even approach General Cao, the latter had brought out a gun from his coat and pointed it expressionlessly on the ladyʼs forehead. Without hesitation, Cao Junye pulled the trigger and the loud sound of bang was heard in the area.

BANG!

Lady Sun with a pale face while trembling had fallen seated on the ground in shock. Thereʼs a liquid coming out between her legs drenching her dress with a yellowish shade. But lucky she is still alive, as someone grabbed Cao Junyeʼs wrist and tangled the gunʼs direction to the sky. It was Old General Sun who prevented his stupid nieceʼs death.

Old Sun looked at Cao Junye with a distressed expression, ”Cao, isnʼt that too much?”

”Not really. If my wife had witnessed that scene then that niece of yours wouldnʼt even exist right now.” replied nonchalantly by Cao Junye as he took fling away the old manʼs hand and lit one more cigarette to calm down his chaotic feelings at this moment. He really misses Xueya and Chino at this moment.

Old Sun observed the young general before him and as he expected. This man is slowly reverting to his original personality before he met the State Head. The original Cao Junye before he entered the military under the State Head request is a cold hearted man who treats human lives lower than that of animals. He had no sympathy towards others, especially strangers.

This is because Cao Junye had lost his parents due to the cruelty and greed of his relatives. They assassinated the Cao Couple and killed them in front of Cao Junye when he was only 10 years old. The killer is none other than his own aunt and uncle, who covets the riches of the Cao Couple.

The murder was planned well and there arenʼt any traces left to used a proof moreover the only survivor and witness is none other than a ten year old Cao Junye who couldnʼt even stand in the court due to his young age.

Moreover the Uncle and Aunt made it as if Cao Junye had lost his mind. Acting violent and had suffered from Schizophrenia, a serious mental disorder in which people interpret reality abnormally. In Cao Junyeʼs case his indifference towards life and death of others and himself were the worst.

The one who saved him from his misery was the State Head and the Prime Minister. This is the reason why Cao Junye only listens to these two old men. After Cao Junye was treated of his disorder, these two men had integrated the laws in Cao Junye to prevent him from becoming a murder as he already had a potential for it because his indifference towards others. It was because of this that General Cao had become a notorious authoritarian in their field.

”Cao! Sun Ruolan is my brotherʼs daughter. You really want to kill her?” said Old Sun.

Cao Junye just gave him a cold glance and replied, ”Why not? To those two old men the most important to them even before their own family, had always been my wife. Do you think that illegitimate bitch would enter those old menʼs eyes? What a farce~”

Seeing Cao Junyeʼs cold gaze, Lady Sun finally lost it. She was about to scream but Wang Lei had hit the back of her neck to make her faint. Seeing the lady fall unconscious the Wang Lei didnʼt even act as a gentleman by trying to catch the lady. Instead he avoided her and let Lady Sun fall on the ground face first. There is no kindness or care in Wang Leiʼs eyes.

Everyone looked at Wang Lei with a stunned expression on their faces.

Wang Lei spoke, ”If she screams the zombies would get attracted here.”

While the otherʼs thoughts from the sideline: ʼThat isnʼt the problem Lieutenant.ʼ

After bowing his head slightly towards General Cao and the old general, Wang Lei once again seat beside his lover, Lou Lan. Lou Lan on the other hand had a frown on his face as he brought out disinfectant wipes from his bag and cleaned the hand his partner used to touch Lady Sun. He is disinfecting his loverʼs hand seriously and even made others think that Lady Sun might be some kind of virus that needed to be avoided.

Old General Sun could only sighed as he squeezed his aching temples. He gestures to his subordinates to get Lady Sun away from this unit full of abnormal people.

”By the way since when were you married? Cao who is your wife?” asked Old Sun as he already forgotten about that stupid niece of his. A military person like Cao Junye and Wang Lei, he had no feminism in his body.

Cao Junye replied, ”Havenʼt married yet? My wife and son run away from home.”

”Run away from home? They got away from you?” Said Old Sun with disbelief.

”Yea. After saving you and someone more people from the Ministerʼs place I would look for them.” replied Cao Junye.

Old Sun responded, ”Really escaped? Hearing that your wife got away even from you feels amazing. What is the name of your wife?”

”Ximen Xueya. My son is 3 years old. Well heʼs about to become 4 soon. He is called Chino.” answered Cao Junye.

The answer Cao Junye had spoken of had rendered everyone on the Old Sun side stupefied. They look at General Cao, this abnormal young general as if he had evolved to become someone even more anomalous. He is the only person in this world that would dare call Ximen Xueya as his wife.

No one even in their dreams dared to spout such nonsense. Ximen Xueya is a well known wealthiest man in the country but only those at peak knew what kind of man Ximen Xueya is. Ximen Xueya could even be considered as the shadow leader of this country, his connections and wealth is beyond anyone in their country. Moreover he is an asexual man who isnʼt attracted to both male and female. This is the reason Ximen Xueya had Ximen Chino created through Artificial insemination.

Rumors say that Ximen Xueyaʼs genes could not be made easily into a new life. Through countless trials Ximen Chino was born only because Ximen Xueya had allowed another gene to be mixed with his. Ximen Chino is a child made from two sperms that had merged together. In short this boy originally had two fathers in reality.

Old Sun, in his shock, lost all decorum and pointed at General Cao while stuttering, ”Y-You... did you know that the other half gene... in Chino... is yours?!”

Hearing this General Cao revealed a proud smile on his face. His emotionless yet stern temperament had disappeared. Only a pleased smile is imprinted on his handsome face. Actually the original Cao Junye doesnʼt remember any of this but after Ye Xiajie had slowly merged his souls, he was able to receive his soul fragmentsʼ memories.

On their way to the State Palace, Cao Junye and Ye Xiajie, who had just awakened, have steadily merged but not completely. He still needs more time to fully dominate this soul fragment, itʼs just that right now the control over the vessel is current under Ye Xiajie.

It is because of this that Ye Xiajie learned that his sonʼs vessel, Ximen Chino, is also the son of Cao Junye in this world. He was so happy when he discovered this secret. But afterwards he recalled the quarrel caused by his soul fragment which led to his wife taking their son and leaving. If Cao Junye wasnʼt him, he would have killed this stupid thing countless of times. This is the real reason for Cao Junyeʼs bad mood this whole day.

Just seeing the joyous expression on the young generalʼs captivating face is enough to prove Old Sunʼs question. But this time not only Old Sun and his side were surprised. Even the people from Unit Alpha were astonished that some of them had their jaws falling on the ground with how wide their mouth had opened in shock.

”Young Master Chino is really Childe and Xueya-gongziʼs son?!” murmured Old Butler Wu.

Then he looked at his master and saw him nodded with a smile. The Old butler and the rest of the Alpha team including the newly returned small group who just heard their instructorʼs question saw their general nod were now all shocked. They didnʼt know the whole story but just the fact that Young Master Chino had the blood of both Master Ximen and their General is enough to make them dumbfounded.

”The General has a son?”

”Master Ximenʼs son is also the generalʼs son?”

”What is happening here?”

But no one answered their questions as their General finally issued the order to leave the palace.

Cao Junye commanded, ”Gather! We are taking our leave.”

”Yes, Sir!”

Afterwards the rescue of those stranded people from the Ministerʼs Place had gotten easier with the help of Old Sunʼs subordinates. Then after gathering a few more vehicles for the survivors, Team Alpha had split with their group. One goes to the secret base prepared by the government and military while the other while still continues to roam around to look for his wife and their young master.

The government had fallen with the death of the State head and the Minister. The third highest authority, General Cao, had chosen not to lead but instead roamed around the districts with just his team.

Meanwhile Major Shi Moye and his team held the fort in Z District after receiving the message that the General would not return to the base unless he finds his partner and child. It is because of this that the highest authority in the base of Z District had become Shi Moye.

In the end the strong prey on the weak and only those who are strong could survive.
