The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 1142: Chapter 1162: Why Did She Lie to Him?

”No wonder, Young Master Yan personally arranged for you to come here. Turns out you’re already carrying Young Master Yan’s child! You’re so lucky.”

”Do you all...know Tang Yan?” Qi Yue knew the other party misunderstood, but...didn’t know how to explain. She just asked out of curiosity.

”Of course. Yan invested in this beauty salon. Ms. Mu and Yan are good friends. But Yan is often abroad, so he’s rarely here.”

Qi Yue nodded.

”With large establishments and luxury beauty salons like this, there are hundreds across the country, all under the Tang Group. Didn’t you know?”

Qi Yue smiled.

It turns out, the Tang Family is even wealthier than she imagined.

However, this doesn’t concern her anymore, after tonight, she’ll be leaving.

*******

At this moment, Tang Yan was sitting outside in the lounge, sipping coffee while playing on his tablet.

Ms. Mu came out from inside and approached Tang Yan.

”Young Master Yan...”

Tang Yan didn’t look up, only uttered an ”Mm” sound.

”Young Master Yan... Little Yue is inside getting a beauty treatment, rest assured, everything is going smoothly.”

Tang Yan’s handsome face was illuminated by the light, he nodded and smiled: ”That girl certainly didn’t cooperate at the start, but given her personality, she would bear with it even if she didn’t want to cooperate...”

At this moment, Ms. Mu suddenly said something shocking.

”Yes, Little Yue is indeed a good girl. But, Young Master Yan... you really are quick. You’ve even got a child now. I wonder when we’ll be able to eat your wedding sweets? If Mr. Tang knew about this, he’d surely be very happy!”

Tang Yan’s lips curved into a smile: ”Of course she is...” He wasn’t paying attention initially, but when he realized what Ms. Mu said, his entire body shook.

Finally, he lifted his eyes from the tablet.

He couldn’t help but look at Mu Juan.

”What did you say? What child?” he asked curiously.

”Uh... the child Little Yue is carrying? Could it be... you didn’t know?” Mu Juan was taken aback for a moment, asking in confusion.

”You’re saying Qi Yue is pregnant?”

”Yes... from the looks of it, it’s been three or four months now.” Ms. Mu saw his astonished expression, couldn’t help but cover her mouth and said: ”Look at me talking too much, maybe that girl wanted to surprise Young Master Yan, and I accidentally spilled the beans!”

Tang Yan’s tablet slipped from his hands.

The entire person seemed to be dumbfounded, only a few words echoed in his mind: Qi Yue is pregnant.

This... how is it possible?

Tang Yan’s mind was in chaos, yet he still tried to calmly look at Mu Juan, smiled, and said: ”Ms. Mu, did you make a mistake?”

Ms. Mu was stunned.

”No... our little sister said she admitted it... and her belly is already big...” Speaking up to here, Ms. Mu felt something was amiss, quickly shook her head and laughed: ”Maybe there’s a mistake, there is another beauty guest next door, most likely...”

Upon hearing this, Tang Yan suddenly spoke: ”Such a big matter, she didn’t even tell me. This girl, she definitely wants to surprise me.”

Ms. Mu sighed with relief.

Seeing Young Master Yan’s expression earlier, she almost thought she had misspoken. If the child wasn’t Young Master Yan’s, this matter would be a huge issue.

Now it seemed it was indeed just a misunderstanding.

”Yes! Congratulations, Young Master Yan!” Ms. Mu said with a broad smile.

Tang Yan smiled: ”You go ahead, have your people keep an eye on her.”

”Of course, don’t worry, I’ll have them keep an eye on her! Alright, Young Master Yan... I’ll get to work now.”
