The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 1132: Chapter 1152: Hoping Xiaonuan Will Immediately Take Over the Company

No wonder... When she came to see her that time and teased her about being pregnant, she looked so anxious. Later, she just found an excuse to leave.

Then, it seemed she asked her some common questions about pregnancy. She thought Qi Yue was just curious, but didn’t expect...

Qi Yue, oh Qi Yue, why is your mouth so tight?

The most crucial thing is whose child is this?

Xia Xiaonuan thought carefully but couldn’t figure out which man Qi Yue was close to.

Back in the production crew, besides her, there was only Gu Xifei. However, Gu Xifei was the lead actor in that drama and was always busy. Other than acting, the three of them were often together, but it didn’t seem like there was anything between them.

Besides, Gu Xifei seemed to treat her as a good buddy.

Could it be Nangong Feihong?

No... With Feihong’s personality, if he really did such a thing, there would be some sign.

He wouldn’t go to Australia looking for her and be completely indifferent to Qi Yue’s matters.

So who could it be?

Xia Xiaonuan was speechless. She always thought Qi Yue was simple and honest, yet this person, without a boyfriend, had a child overnight!

Xia Xiaonuan shook her head helplessly.

No way, she must quickly find a way to contact Qi Yue.

When Xiaonuan left Qi Yue’s home and remembered something, she looked at the flower pot and noticed the soil was a little dry. She quickly went to the restroom to fetch a basin of water and watered the plant before leaving.

Xiaonuan sat in the car, and her phone rang again.

It was a strange number.

”Hello...”

”Hello, is this Miss Xia?” came a middle-aged man’s voice from the other end.

”Hello, this is Xia Xiaonuan.”

”Yes, my surname is Li, I’m called Li Ren; I was Mr. Du’s assistant and driver when he was alive.”

”Do you have something you need?”

”It’s about the future of Xia Group, I would like to discuss it with you in person.”

Xia Xiaonuan was slightly taken aback.

******

An isolated tea house.

The man in front appeared to be around fifty years old, with graying hair at his temples and a sincere expression.

Xia Xiaonuan couldn’t help but say, ”Hello, you invited me here; what do you need, you can speak openly.”

Li Ren looked at Xia Xiaonuan, his gaze falling on her slightly protruding abdomen.

”Miss Xia... It wasn’t just my idea to invite you here today. It was the collective decision of several shareholders who had worked with Mr. Du; they asked me to find you.”

Xia Xiaonuan nodded.

”Actually, I know, you’re pregnant now, and these matters shouldn’t concern you. But after all, you’re the only relative Mr. Du had left. If you don’t make an appearance, I’m afraid Xia Group might really be taken over by others. By then, even if we old guys die, we wouldn’t have the face to meet Mr. Du.”

Xia Xiaonuan’s heart was slightly shaken.

Since the Xia Family incident, regardless of Xia Group or Du Family matters, she hadn’t been involved.

Instinctively, she didn’t want to get involved in these matters, because once she did, she’d think of her deceased parents... and Xia Xinmei.

But unexpectedly, someone would come looking for her.

”But... what can I do? I don’t know anything.”

”But after all, you’re the heir of Xia Group! Before he passed away, Mr. Du left all his shares to you, and Mrs. Xia also transferred all the shares under her name to yours.”
