The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 1062: Chapter 1081: Why Didn’t You Tell Me Sooner?

Xia Group.

Xia Xinmei walked in from outside.

”Miss, you’re here,” a manager approached, saying warmly.

”Where is my dad?”

”In the office, I’ll take you to him.”

”No need, I can go up myself,” Xia Xinmei smiled and said.

”Alright...”

Chairman’s Office.

”How did you find such a bunch of useless people!” Xia Zhennan angrily threw the files in his hand onto the desk, glaring at the steward standing in front of him and cursing.

The steward quickly replied, ”Sir, no one expected this matter to be known by Prince Nangong. Now, what should we do? That Qi Yue is still unaccounted for, and Mrs. Xia’s contract is also lost.

If we don’t have Mrs. Xia’s shares to support you, you will certainly be sidelined by some people in the company.”

Xia Zhennan forcefully thumped the table with his fist.

”Now, Young Master has already returned, and it’s very likely he’s started investigating this matter. If... If he finds out this is related to me, he definitely won’t spare me!”

At the doorway, Xia Xinmei heard the conversation inside and was slightly startled.

Her eyes widened.

”Yes, Young Master. Now what should we do?”

”Don’t worry about that contract for now; help me set up an overseas account and transfer the money there first.”

”President Xia, you... you mean?”

”That contract, Fengjun must have transferred all her shares to Xiaonuan, and my father-in-law didn’t have time to make a will before he passed.

Fengjun is the legal heir. If this contract states that she has transferred her will to Xiaonuan, then Xiaonuan will become the largest shareholder in the company and control everything!

Which means, the entire Xia Family will belong to Nangong Group!

Then... not only will I not get a single penny, but I might be sent to prison!”

Standing at the doorway, Xia Xinmei couldn’t help but stagger back upon hearing these words.

Mrs. Xia, actually gave all her assets to Xiaonuan?

Although she isn’t her biological daughter, she has called her mother for so many years.

Back in those days, when she was little, she really thought she was her biological daughter!

But... unexpectedly, in Mrs. Xia’s eyes, she is still not even worth a blade of grass!

Xia Xinmei’s lips curled into a cold smile.

”Better safe than sorry... If Young Master really discovers something, it will be too late for us to act!”

”Yes, sir, I’ll do it immediately!”

The steward said, walking out of the room.

He unexpectedly saw Xia Xinmei at the door.

His expression changed.

”Miss... Miss?”

Xia Zhennan also looked surprised.

”Xinmei, why are you here?” Thinking of the earlier conversation, he said somewhat displeased.

”Dad... I heard everything you said. Such a big thing, why didn’t you tell me earlier? That bitch Xia Xiaonuan, are we really going to hand over the entire Xia Group to her?”

Xia Xinmei said, a bit agitated.

Xia Zhennan glanced at the steward at the door, ”You can go downstairs now.”

”Yes, sir.”

After the steward left, Xia Zhennan stood up and approached Xia Xinmei.

”Xin’er... This matter is already beyond our control. I can’t get in touch with Situ Yan, and the collaboration project with him has been forced to stop. The only thing I can use now is Xia Group. But, I didn’t expect that Young Master and Xiaonuan have reconciled. And moreover... he’s involved in this matter.”
