The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 1052: Chapter 1072: What’s Going On with Qi Yue

After hanging up the phone, Xia Xiaonuan felt like a big stone had fallen from her heart. Qi Yue was safe, thank goodness! But why hadn’t Qi Yue called her after being rescued?

Xia Xiaonuan kept watching the phone, worrying that Qi Yue might call.

Meanwhile, Qi Yue was lying in a rocking chair inside the villa.

She was having an unexpectedly good time.

The transparent glass greenhouse was located in the villa’s garden.

All around were beautiful and expensive flowers, and the air was filled with fresh fragrance.

Qi Yue held her belly with one hand.

”It’s so beautiful here, it makes me never want to leave.”

She smiled with her lips curved.

Tang Yan had left early in the morning, and she had breakfast by herself, then wandered around.

She ended up in the greenhouse and just couldn’t bring herself to leave.

Suddenly, she remembered something.

Oh, she wondered if Xiaonuan had returned. Last time she called, there was no answer. By now, might Xiaonuan have returned home?

If Xiaonuan couldn’t find her, she’d definitely be worried!

Thinking of this, Qi Yue couldn’t help but get up.

Without her phone, she came into the villa’s living room, found a random lady there, and borrowed her phone.

Dialed Xia Xiaonuan’s number.

Xia Xiaonuan was worried, and then her phone rang. She jumped, saw it was an unfamiliar number, and hurriedly picked it up.

”Hello...”

”Hey, Xiaonuan, it’s me, Qi Yue!”

”Qi Yue?” Xia Xiaonuan exclaimed with surprise: ”Qi Yue, are you okay? Where are you now? How are you doing?”

Qi Yue laughed: ”I’m fine, very safe and well. You don’t need to worry about me!”

Xia Xiaonuan let out a huge sigh of relief.

”Qi Yue, I’ve come back, couldn’t find you, I was really scared to death! I heard you were kidnapped and then rescued? Where are you now? I’ll come get you right away, okay?”

Qi Yue hesitated upon hearing this.

She stammered, ”Well...I’m really fine now, don’t worry. I’ll be back in a few days. I’m staying at a friend’s place, and he’s treating me very well!”

If she left now, wouldn’t she miss the chance to see Tang Yan?

No, no, she and he had just started getting serious, she really didn’t want to leave like this. Besides, Tang Yan had promised she could stay for a few more days!

Qi Yue, with the principle of enjoying free hospitality while she could, decided she had to stay for a few more days before leaving.

Xia Xiaonuan, confused: ”You’re really okay? Who is your friend? Is he reliable?”

”Reliable, very reliable!” Qi Yue patted her chest: ”By the way, Xiaonuan, Mrs. Xia once gave me a document, I taped it to the wooden board underneath the wardrobe. There’s also a bank card inside, I suspect those people were after those things.”

Upon hearing this, Xia Xiaonuan was shocked.

”Ah, Qi Yue, so you hid them there? No wonder, even the police couldn’t find them!”

Qi Yue giggled: ”How about that? Impressive, right? The stuff Mrs. Xia gave me is so important, I would never hand it over to anyone. Alright, Xiaonuan, I’m using someone else’s phone, let’s not talk anymore, I’ll be back in a few days!” Qi Yue looked at the waiting servant, feeling a bit embarrassed, and said hurriedly.

”Oh... Qi Yue... beep beep beep...”

Xia Xiaonuan hadn’t finished speaking, and Qi Yue had already hung up the phone.

Xia Xiaonuan stared at the phone, perplexed, frowning deeply.

What exactly was going on with Qi Yue?
