The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 809: Chapter 829: She Was Tempting Him on Purpose

On purpose? Is he saying she deliberately seduced him?

She pouted, she really only wanted to help him dry his hair...

”I really wasn’t... Just let me go...” Xia Xiaonuan said speechlessly.

”You obviously are!” Nangong Yaoling flipped over, pressing her underneath him, reaching out and gently rubbing her lips, ”You’re wearing my shirt and striking such a seductive pose. If this isn’t seduction, then what is it?”

Xia Xiaonuan: ”...”

Seductive pose?

She almost wanted to faint against a block of tofu!

”I didn’t!” she insisted.

”You obviously did!” The man’s large hand slid from her lips to her collarbone, then slowly down to her chest.

Through her clothes, he squeezed and kneaded her body forcefully.

Xia Xiaonuan furrowed her brows slightly.

Seeing the overwhelming desire in the man’s eyes, she felt both annoyed and anxious. She shouldn’t have worn his shirt and helped him dry his hair in front of him just now.

She knew long ago that this man was a lecher.

She grabbed his wrist, stopping his actions: ”Nangong Yaoling!” Her pupils showed clear resistance.

Nangong Yaoling also froze for a moment.

Driven by emotions, he had momentarily forgotten what he was thinking earlier.

He had only been thinking about devouring her completely.

Now, seeing her gaze, it was like a bucket of cold water was poured over him, snapping him out of it.

The desire in his eyes was instantly replaced by a coldness.

Does this woman think he can’t do without her?

He let go of her body and rolled off the bed.

Xia Xiaonuan’s eyes showed a trace of helplessness.

Nangong Yaoling looked at her coldly, ”Xia Xiaonuan, what exactly do you take me for?”

Xia Xiaonuan didn’t understand what he meant for a moment, just looked at him uneasily.

”A toy you can pick up and put down at will?”

Xia Xiaonuan hurriedly propped herself up: ”No...”

But Nangong Yaoling obviously didn’t want to hear her explanation anymore: ”Isn’t it just that you want me to let go of Situ Yan? You treat someone who kidnapped you so well, yet you’re always hot and cold with me! Do you think I’m a fool, Nangong Yaoling? That I can come and go at your beck and call?”

Xia Xiaonuan knew he had completely misunderstood, and quickly grabbed his hand, saying: ”Nangong Yaoling, that’s not what I meant! I actually...”

”Enough!” Nangong Yaoling interrupted her, shaking off her hand, and turned to walk toward the door.

The room instantly became empty.

His presence lingered faintly in the air.

Xia Xiaonuan lay on the bed, uneasily closing her eyes.

When she returns to her country, she must get checked to see if she is really pregnant.

That way, once Nangong Yaoling knows the truth, he shouldn’t misunderstand her anymore, right?

...

At the hospital.

Nangong Yaoling, dressed in black, arrived at the door of the ward, Qin Yi following behind him.

The guards at the door saw him and promptly greeted him respectfully: ”Young Master—!”

Nangong Yaoling stared at the door and said coldly, ”How is he?”

”He’s fine now, just woke up, and has eaten. He should be resting now.”

”Open the door,” Qin Yi said.

”Yes!” The guard immediately opened the door.

Nangong Yaoling stepped inside.

Situ Yan lay in bed, bandages wrapped around his head and body, yet he was not asleep.

Hearing the door open, he couldn’t help but move and, somewhat excitedly, turned his face towards the door.

When he saw it was Nangong Yaoling, the urgency in his eyes turned into a trace of anger.
