”Then you... drink with me!” Nangong Zhongli shouted.

Qin Yi had no choice but to pick up the wine glass and reluctantly took a sip.

Xia Xiaonuan stood by the bed, watching the man sleeping soundly. Under the dim light, his handsome face had a slight blush, adding a touch of sensuality.

Xia Xiaonuan took off his shirt, revealing his bare upper body, and covered him with a blanket. However, it soon fell off, exposing his fit chest and chest hair, making him look tempting and wild.

If it were any other woman seeing this scene, she might have already jumped on him. But Xia Xiaonuan, though she couldn’t help but swallow her saliva, still kept a little distance from him.

”Nangong Yaoling... Nangong Yaoling...” She called out softly, a bit uneasy.

Nangong Yaoling was sleeping deeply, probably because he had been drinking, his breathing slightly rough. Seeing no reaction from him, Xia Xiaonuan’s lips curled into a small smile.

She gently turned off the bedside lamp and tiptoed out of the room, making sure to close the door behind her.

On her way downstairs, she noticed all the maids were asleep, with only a few wall lights on in the living room, making it not particularly bright.

She walked to the cabinet downstairs and opened the door, recalling how often she saw Yun taking medicine from there.

Sure enough, a mixed smell of Chinese medicine wafted out. Inside the cabinet was a huge medicine box, containing all sorts of medicines.

Although she hadn’t seen the antidote before, she figured it should look like ordinary pills.

So, using her phone’s light, she took out several bottles, didn’t bother to check their names, and wrapped different sizes of pills and some tablets in a few sheets of paper, then stuffed them into her clothes.

After looking around, she went to the sofa, picked up the fruit basket from the coffee table. It was heavy with various kinds of fruits.

Walking out the door, the small villa next to the mansion was the hidden room’s location.

Xia Xiaonuan had never been there before, only knew there were always guards stationed.

After walking along a small path, Xia Xiaonuan arrived at the hidden room’s entrance.

Two black-clad bodyguards were standing watch outside. They were surprised to see her and immediately stood at attention, respectfully greeting, ”Young Madam!?”

Xia Xiaonuan’s heart was pounding, but she managed a relaxed smile, ”Still on duty, huh.”

”Yes...”

Xia Xiaonuan smiled, ”Young Master knows how hard you work at night, so he specifically asked me to bring some fruit for you. Please, help yourselves!”

The two bodyguards were momentarily taken aback.

Feeling flattered, they said, ”Thank you, Young Master. Thank you, Young Madam!”

Xia Xiaonuan placed the fruit basket in front of them, and they each took a banana and an orange. Glancing at the tightly closed door, she asked, ”Is there anyone inside? I’ll give them some as well.”

One of the bodyguards quickly said, ”Young Madam, let me take it in for you. It’s very late, you should rest early.”

”It’s alright. If I don’t complete the task Young Master gave me, he’ll get angry!” Xia Xiaonuan intentionally mentioned Nangong Yaoling, causing the bodyguards to exchange helpless looks and stopped arguing further.

They had no choice but to help her open the door.

Inside, the lighting was dim. Upon entering, there was a hall.

Someone was sitting inside and upon seeing Xia Xiaonuan, immediately asked, ”Who?”

Xia Xiaonuan was startled and froze. Wu Da had already rushed over and recognized Xia Xiaonuan. He was momentarily surprised.

”Young... Young Madam? Why are you here?”

”Ah, it’s been hard on you, Wu Da. I brought some fruit for everyone!” Xia Xiaonuan smiled.
