The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 428: Chapter 430 Xia Xiaonuan, stop the car for me! 3

Behind him, someone holding his coat shouted, ”Handsome guy... your coat...”

”Oppa... wait...”

Xia Xiaonuan was dumbfounded. When she snapped back to reality, she saw the utility pole three meters ahead.

Frightened, she opened her eyes wide and slammed on the brakes.

”Bang—” The car collided with the utility pole. Luckily, she was driving slowly, but Xia Xiaonuan still jerked forward, and the airbag deployed.

Her mind went completely blank.

Siren and whistle sounds echoed in her ears. A traffic cop said next to her, ”Miss... are you okay? Miss...”

Nangong Yaoling rushed to the front of the car. Seeing Xia Xiaonuan, his face changed drastically.

”Get out of the way!” He gasped, pushing aside the traffic cop while opening the car door and pulling Xia Xiaonuan out of the vehicle.

”Xiaonuan... Xiaonuan!”

Xia Xiaonuan collapsed into Nangong Yaoling’s arms. Her head was dizzy, and she felt a slight pain. She slowly opened her eyes and saw Nangong Yaoling’s pale face staring at her.

She reached out, rubbing her head, and laughingly said something that made Nangong Yaoling furious.

”Hehe... that was thrilling...”

Nangong Yaoling: ”...”

The traffic cops immediately set up a perimeter. A cop loudly scolded Xia Xiaonuan.

”Miss, how are you driving? Do you know how dangerous that was? Show me your driver’s license, let’s do a breathalyzer test...”

Xia Xiaonuan stood, embarrassed, and glanced at the cop, ”I’m sorry...”

”Do you think a simple ’sorry’ will fix it? You...”

Before the cop could continue, Nangong Yaoling shot him a cold look, making the young officer jump. The imposing aura from Nangong Yaoling left him stunned.

The cop hesitated for a few seconds and tried to speak while a police officer hurried up, recognizing Nangong Yaoling. His face changed suddenly. He reached out and hit the young cop hard on the head: ”You idiot, you can’t even recognize Young Master!”

”Young Master... I apologize, my subordinate is blind and didn’t recognize you... I’ll discipline him properly later... So sorry for frightening Young Master and Young Madam...” The police officer apologized obsequiously, seeing Nangong Yaoling sweating profusely. He quickly took out a tissue to wipe him. ”Young Master... you’re sweating a lot... let me wipe it for you...”

Nangong Yaoling coldly turned his face away, ”Get lost...”

The officer showed a bit of embarrassment but still tried to smile, ”Young Master, please...” ”These people are so annoying,” Nangong Yaoling interrupted, glancing at the crowd behind him.

The officer took the hint and hurriedly told his subordinates to disperse the crowd while saying to Xia Xiaonuan, ”Young... Young Madam? Should we take you to the hospital for a check-up... Young Master, it’s my fault, too many cars on this road, making Young Madam get startled while driving...”

At this moment, a cop brought over a coat and handed it to Nangong Yaoling, ”This coat...”

Nangong Yaoling took the coat and looked down at Xia Xiaonuan.

”My wife was bored and tried driving for fun, it’s nothing serious, you all can disperse now.”

As he spoke, Nangong Yaoling wrapped his arm around Xia Xiaonuan’s shoulders and walked to the car’s side door.

His sharp-eyed subordinate quickly stepped forward to open the car door for them.

Xia Xiaonuan felt extremely embarrassed and somewhat frightened, so she just let Nangong Yaoling lead her and sat in the car.

The officer looked at the scratched-up Rolls-Royce Phantom and couldn’t help but say, ”Young Master... maybe... maybe you’d like to take my car for now? I can arrange to have your car repaired...”

”No need, Officer Sun.” Nangong Yaoling said lightly, reaching out and patting Officer Sun’s shoulder.
