The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 336: Chapter 338 【338】Just Bear With It a Little Longer 3

Xia Xiaonuan’s face darkened for a moment, but she still stepped forward with the wine bottle and poured half a glass for Situ Yan.

Situ Yan tilted his head back and downed the wine in one gulp.

He placed the wine bottle in front of her, ”A little more.”

Xia Xiaonuan hesitated a bit but still poured another half glass.

After drinking the wine, Situ Yan felt as if he had come back to life, his face gained a bit of color. He put the wine glass on the floor, supported himself with his hands on the ground, and tried to prop himself up.

”Can you manage?”

Xia Xiaonuan hurriedly stepped forward to help him.

”It’s nothing...” Situ Yan said gloomily, ”This poison should be chronic, it won’t act so quickly...” He paused, ”Nangong Yaoling, the suffering I endure today, one day I’ll make you repay it!”

Xia Xiaonuan’s face changed.

Situ Yan noticed her expression.

He raised an eyebrow slightly and eyed her, ”What, are you regretting saving me now?”

”Are you going to deal with Nangong Yaoling?” Xia Xiaonuan asked wide-eyed.

”Did your heart ache?”

”I...” Xia Xiaonuan lowered her head. She herself didn’t know if what she did today was right or wrong. But she only knew that if the situation repeated, she would still save him without hesitation.

Seeing Xia Xiaonuan speechless, Situ Yan’s gaze darkened.

He stood up and walked towards the window.

Xia Xiaonuan quickly said, ”There must be guards outside, it’s dangerous to go out like this!”

Before she finished her words, suddenly Situ Yan quickly stepped forward and grabbed Xia Xiaonuan’s arm. Xia Xiaonuan was caught off guard and almost fell into his arms.

Situ Yan held her throat with one hand, lowered his head, and said in her ear, ”How about this, I’ll take you as a hostage, what do you think?”

As he spoke, his face was very close to hers, his hot breath sprayed on her ear, she could even smell the scent of wine from his teeth.

Xia Xiaonuan glared at him in anger, but after thinking about it, this seemed like a good plan.

Just as she was about to agree, she unexpectedly saw a playful look flash in Situ Yan’s eyes.

”Woman, you’re really stupid. If I take you as a hostage, won’t the people outside know it’s you who saved me? Aren’t you afraid Nangong Yaoling will blame you?”

”Ah...” Xia Xiaonuan reacted angrily, glaring at him, ”You tricked me?”

Situ Yan let go of her, swiftly turned off the room lights.

The room instantly became dark.

The man slowly approached her.

Xia Xiaonuan watched him vigilantly under the streetlamp outside, taking a step back, ”You... what are you going to do?”

”Of course, to do what I should do...” Situ Yan raised her chin, his other hand brushed past her cheek, his voice was hoarse and ambiguous, ”Mrs. Nangong, you saved me, how do you want me to thank you?”

Xia Xiaonuan: ”...”

”Bastard!” she blurted out in extreme anger, flinging her hand to hit his face.

But her wrist was caught mid-air by him.

”I’m teasing you, silly woman...” Situ Yan said while gripping her wrist, his lips curled.

As soon as he finished speaking, without waiting for Xia Xiaonuan’s reaction, he let go of her, dashed to the window, pulled open the curtains, and opened the window.

A golden hook flew out from his sleeve, the golden thread passed through the sky, directly hooking onto the rooftop of the opposite villa. Grabbing the golden thread, his swift body leaped...

By the time Xia Xiaonuan reacted, the figure had already disappeared from the window, but the air was left with his words,

”Situ Yan owes you this, I will remember, and will repay you generously someday!”

The wind blew through the curtains, fluttering into the air, a chill permeated.

Xia Xiaonuan hurried to the window, she saw a dark figure flash like lightning on the opposite rooftop.

She widened her eyes, covering her wildly beating heart. How could he just jump like that? Damn, he scared her to death.
