The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 92: Chapter 94 [94] Alone with Mr. Liang in a Room 2

However, he simultaneously revealed a smile.

Liang Shaochen’s gentle and clear smile was especially charming under the elevator’s light.

As a result, the drug’s effect, which Xia Xiaonuan had just suppressed, almost instantly erupted.

Her face immediately turned red, and her eyes flashed with panic and confusion.

Looking at her, Liang Shaochen frowned slightly, ”Xiaonuan, what’s wrong? Are you feeling unwell?”

When Xia Xiaonuan heard him call her sister-in-law, she felt like her heart was about to break.

It was like a bucket of cold water had been poured over her head.

She lifted her eyes again and quickly glanced at him.

Then she spoke, ”I’m fine...”

”You... Why are you here? Is Ling here too?” Liang Shaochen asked curiously.

”No, he’s not here!” Xia Xiaonuan quickly said, and then, realizing she was being overly sensitive, added, ”I came alone.”

Liang Shaochen nodded.

After a while, he spoke again, ”Were you arguing with Ling?”

Xia Xiaonuan felt she could no longer endure it.

”Don’t call me sister-in-law!” She glared at him and shouted loudly.

Liang Shaochen: ...

The atmosphere instantly became tense.

Xia Xiaonuan looked into Liang Shaochen’s eyes, her eyes gradually turning red.

Liang Shaochen’s handsome face was completely bewildered and confused.

But quickly, he recovered and smiled at her.

She must have argued with Yaoling, so she didn’t even want him to call her sister-in-law!

He wanted to console her a bit more, but seeing her on the verge of tears, glaring at him with a hateful look, he decided to hold back.

He had already planned to call Nangong Yaoling after returning to the hotel, asking him to comfort his angry little wife.

Though he had only met her a few times, he found Xia Xiaonuan quite interesting, with an indescribable charm.

He placed his hand by his lips and cleared his throat. Then, looking at the rising numbers in the elevator, he asked, ”Um... which floor are you on?”

Only then did Xia Xiaonuan realize that she had entered the elevator without remembering to press a floor button.

She reached out to press it, seeing that the 32nd floor button was already pressed.

And they were almost there.

The elevator dinged as it arrived.

Liang Shaochen smiled at her, ”Who would’ve thought we’re staying on the same floor.” He said, making a gentlemanly gesture to let her go first.

Xia Xiaonuan forced a smile, walking past him, her mind in a daze.

She couldn’t recover her composure.

As they walked together, Xia Xiaonuan remembered to ask, ”Um... why are you here? I’m in room 3306, and you?”

This time, Liang Shaochen was slightly stunned.

Xia Xiaonuan didn’t know that this five-star hotel was actually owned by the Liang Family, and that he was the president who sometimes stayed there after late meetings.

He tilted his head and smiled at her, ”I was discussing matters with a client. The client stayed here, so it was too late for me to return. But it’s quite a coincidence, I’m staying right next door to you.”

Generally, the hotel had a presidential suite, but Liang Shaochen didn’t have many special requirements, unlike other young masters who would demand the hotel reserve the presidential suite for them. Since it was his own hotel, he didn’t mind staying in a regular suite.

Even earlier, when the hotel manager offered to escort him upstairs, he declined.

He preferred peace and quiet most of the time.

Liang Shaochen said this and stopped in front of a room. He looked at Xia Xiaonuan, ”You’re here.”
