The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 81: Chapter 83 [83] I Want You to Beg Me 1

Nangong Feihong laughed, ”Xiaonuan and I grew up together. Uncle and Auntie are like my own parents, respecting you is my duty.”

Nangong Feihong then looked at Xiaonuan, ”Xiaonuan, why did you suddenly come back? Did Nangong Yaoling bully you again? Did you come back alone?”

Xia Xiaonuan awkwardly pointed inside. Mrs. Xia quickly smiled and said, ”Hong, go wash your hands. The Young Master and Xiaonuan came back today; it’s a good chance for us all to get together.”

Nangong Feihong looked inside and finally saw Nangong Yaoling, who was sitting there expressionlessly, eating.

Nangong Feihong’s face darkened.

Nangong Yaoling didn’t even look at him.

At the dining table, Nangong Yaoling sat to the left of Xia Xiaonuan, while Nangong Feihong sat to his right.

Nangong Feihong didn’t hold back, picked up some food with his chopsticks, and started eating. Mr. and Mrs. Xia kept watching Nangong Yaoling’s expression while winking at Xiaonuan.

Xia Xiaonuan didn’t know what to do in this situation.

So, she quietly nudged Nangong Yaoling under the table with her elbow.

Nangong Yaoling glanced at her, then finally turned his gaze toward Nangong Feihong.

He spoke nonchalantly, ”Feihong, how’s the resort project going? Still have time to visit? You seem pretty idle lately.”

Upon hearing this, Nangong Feihong glared at Nangong Yaoling, bursting with anger, ”You still have the nerve to talk! If it weren’t for you, why would Grandpa make me manage that project? I’m about to go crazy! I... I sneaked out here!”

”What’s that got to do with me? You’re the one neglecting your duties, flying that helicopter around showing off. Do you think I need to personally report such a major thing to Grandpa?” Nangong Yaoling said coldly.

”Anyway, it’s still because of you! If you didn’t bully Xiaonuan, I wouldn’t have used the helicopter to help her...”

Nangong Feihong stopped mid-sentence, realizing something. He looked up to see Nangong Yaoling’s face, already glaring furiously.

Xia Xiaonuan quickly placed a piece of chicken leg in Nangong Feihong’s bowl, ”Eat, talk less during meals.”

Nangong Feihong smiled at Xiaonuan, ”Thank you, Xiaonuan.”

Nangong Yaoling heavily placed his chopsticks on the table.

This startled Mr. and Mrs. Xia.

Xia Xiaonuan looked helplessly at Nangong Yaoling, fearing the young master might lose his temper again. Hesitating, she also placed a piece of chicken leg into his bowl, ”You eat more too...”

Nangong Yaoling glanced at her indifferently, ”I’m done, take your time eating.”

Mr. Xia stood up, ”Young Master... have a bit more.”

Mrs. Xia also said nervously, ”Yes, you’re eating too little.”

Nangong Yaoling did not respond, arrogantly striding towards the living room.

Mrs. Xia said to Xia Xiaonuan, ”Xiaonuan, the Young Master ate too little. Take him some fruit later.” She winked at Xia Xiaonuan.

Xia Xiaonuan was speechless.

She actually wanted to say, I haven’t even eaten enough.

But being too embarrassed to stay and eat more in this atmosphere, she feared she’d get a stomach ache. She stood up reluctantly, ”Oh... I know.”

Xia Xiaonuan went into the kitchen, where the maid had already washed the fruit for her.

Xia Xiaonuan walked to the living room and placed the fruit plate in front of Nangong Yaoling, saying stiffly, ”Here, eat some fruit.”

Nangong Yaoling was watching TV, holding the remote and flipping through channels.

Seemingly sulking, his handsome face was as dark as the bottom of a pot.
