The Valued Lady is Truly Dominant

The Princess Consort of Min County sat on the bed, lost in thought. Suddenly, she heard footsteps approaching. She looked up, only to see Wan Chun rushing in.

”Master.”

Upon seeing her, Wan Chun’s eyes welled up, her mouth covered, as tears streamed down uncontrollably.

It was too much, Princess Consort Ji was too much. How could she treat her master like this?

”Why cry? Help me get dressed.” The Princess Consort of Min County smiled.

Wan Chun knelt at the foot of the bed, crying and saying, ”Master, it’s the servant’s incompetence. They imprisoned me until now. Master, you’ve been wronged.”

”Wronged about what? Husband and wife intimacy, isn’t it the most common thing?” A slightly sharp and bitter voice came from behind.

Wan Chun turned her head to see that it was Madam Rong beside Princess Consort Ji, bringing two strong maidservants, holding a red box.

The Princess Consort of Min County saw the box, lowered her eyelids, and pinched the corner of the quilt.

”Congratulations to the Princess Consort, best wishes to the Princess Consort. Please get out of bed to ease your clothing, the old maid will change the sheets for the Princess Consort.” Madam Rong saluted, speaking expressionlessly.

The Princess Consort of Min County said, ”Please wait aside.”

Madam Rong stood still, as did the two maidservants behind her.

Wan Chun angrily said, ”How dare you, do you think the Princess Consort’s words are worthless?”

”Wan Chun.” The Princess Consort of Min County shook her head at her, then glanced at Madam Rong, calmly saying, ”Please move aside.”

The tone was raised considerably, her eyes staring at Madam Rong unblinkingly, her gaze clear like water, seeming to have a flicker within.

The Princess Consort of Min County, for the first time, showed her dignity, pride, and was not to be disobeyed.

Madam Rong’s eyes flickered briefly, she slightly bowed her head, retreated a few steps, and waited by the door.

She relented.

Only then did the Princess Consort of Min County nod to Wan Chun, who wiped her tears and stepped forward to help her dress. When seeing the red and purple marks on her body and a faint unexplained smell in the air, Wan Chun’s cheeks burned, but her eyes reddened even more.

Master suffers greatly.

The Princess Consort of Min County stood on the ground, her legs weak, almost collapsing, forcing herself to endure the discomfort and gripping Wan Chun’s arm forcefully to avoid falling.

She turned to glance at the bed, a hint of red appeared in her view, causing her cheek to heat.

Madam Rong had already brought people over, swiftly scanning the bed with satisfaction, placing the cloth into the box, while the two maidservants changed the sheets and bedding quickly.

Soon after, a maid came in carrying a tray, with a bowl of Hong Zao bird’s nest porridge and several small dishes.

”The Dowager commands, the Princess Consort has served the Prince well, and should rest properly in the room, no need to move around outside.” Madam Rong instructed the maidservants: ”Take good care of the Princess Consort, ensure no mishap, or you’ll pay with your lives.”

”We accept the order.”

Wan Chun realized and angrily questioned, ”You, you intend to imprison the Princess Consort?”

”It’s to ask the Princess Consort to rest.” Madam Rong left this sentence and strode out.

The Princess Consort of Min County furrowed her brow, asked for water to bathe, then sat by the table, looking at the bowl of Hong Zao bird’s nest porridge, her lips pressed together.

Princess Consort Ji’s actions, fearing she might stir trouble or take medicine to avoid pregnancy, thus monitoring her?

The Princess Consort of Min County, anger turned to a smile, it seemed the Dowager was confident she could endure this manipulation.

”Master?” Wan Chun said impatiently.

The Princess Consort of Min County smiled at her: ”No worries, bring me the scriptures I read usually, let it be.”

If this is the case, then she shall read fate!
