New Age Of Summoners

’Yes.’

The moment Ajax confirmed, a surge of energy exploded from the Specter Fire as it grew in size.

’Swiish’

It became so big and covered Ajax in a sea of flames even before Ajax could react.

’Guh!’

At the same time, Ajax’s entire body froze as he felt an otherworldly force stopping him from moving.

’Swiish’

Soon, the flames hugged Ajax’s body as he felt the cold heat of the flame slither through his veins, igniting something deep within him.

’Swiish’

’Aargh’

’What am I seeing….what are these visions?’

Once Ajax became one with the flames, visions flashed before his eyes.

In those visions, Ajax saw desolate battlefields, ancient figures wielding flames of destruction, and finally, an unshackled force, a flame that had never once bowed to anyone.

’So… that’s what you are.’

As time passed by, Ajax became calm and observed the visions with an interested look on his face and finally, he learned some things about the Wild Sentient Flame he just tamed, the Specter Fire.

’This flame had never been tamed because it was never meant to be. It was choosing me because of the Divine Flames….which are supposed to be existent in the Myths of the Sentient Flames.’

The Divine Flames that Ajax conjured were not just Divine Flames in name but real Divine Flames created using Ajax’s Divine Essence of Nature.

’Swiish’

Amidst his thoughts, the Specter Fire materialized a skull in front of Ajax, covered in the flames.

’Gur….gur’

The flickering blue eyes of the Specter Fire burned brighter as it absorbed the Divine Essence of Nature from Ajax’s Divine Spirit Consciousness.

’It likes my Divine Essence of Nature? Eat as much as you want.’

If Ajax wanted, he could cut off the supply to the Sentient Flame; however, it was consuming only one or two units per second which was nothing in Ajax’s eyes.

Moreover, the Specter Fire was his first Sentient Flame and he wanted to spoil it a bit.

’To form a contract, does it need my Divine Essence of Nature?’

So far, Ajax didn’t sense any ill intentions from the Sentient Flame, and even the system didn’t warn him about anything.

So, he patiently waited for the Specter Fire to do what it wanted to do.

’Huh? I feel a vague connection ... is it the contract between me and the Specter Fire?’

After a few minutes, Ajax sensed he could control the sea of flames around him.

Boom!

Before Ajax could test his control over the sea of flames, a spectral mark seared itself onto Ajax’s chest, right above his heart.

The sensation was unlike anything he had ever felt before. There was no pain, no heat, but a chilling fire that fused into his very being.

[Ding,

You have successfully contracted the Sentient Flame: Specter Fire!]

Finally, there was a system notification that Ajax was eagerly waiting for.

[Ding,

Thanks to the host forming a contract with a Wild Sentient Flame, the system’s database has been updated.]

[Ding,

The system has found a way to evolve the Elemental Spirits into Divine Elemental Spirits.]

[Ding,

Do you want to see the evolution requirements for the Elemental Spirits?]

Soon, Ajax received a series of system notifications that made him pleasantly surprised.

’What? You already figured out the evolution requirements for the Elemental Spirits? How?’

Ajax had already used the Divine Elemental Potion on his Flower-type Elemental Spirit to turn it into a Divine Elemental Spirit.

However, she had entered into a cocoon stage and required at least 30 days to break free from the cocoon.

At that time, the system said that it would analyze Floris after she successfully became a Divine Elemental Spirit to figure out the evolution requirements for the Elemental Spirits to become Divine Elemental Spirits.

But, who could have thought that by contracting a Wild Sentient Flame, the system could update its data and figure out the evolution requirements for the Elemental Spirits?

[Ding,

After the host formed a contract with the Wild Sentient Flame, the system automatically received all the information from it.]

[Ding,

During the contracting process, the visions that the host has seen are the innate memories of the Sentient Flame.]

[Ding,

According to those visions, the Sentient Flames are the weapons created for the Elemental Spirits.]

[Ding,

Once the summoner bestows a Sentient Flame to the Elemental Spirit with the same element, they will together grow stronger.]

’What? Sentient Flames are the weapons for the Elemental Spirits?’

Looking at the series of system notifications, Ajax was shocked as he never expected such a thing.

’System, show me the evolution requirements for my Elemental Spirit to evolve into Divine Elemental Spirits.’

Ajax was shocked by the revelation but at the same time, he was excited as he hurriedly asked the system to show the evolution requirements.

The sooner he knew them, the faster he could complete the preparation and help his Elemental Spirits evolve into Divine Elemental Spirits.

[Ding,

The evolution requirements for the Elemental Spirits into Divine Elemental Spirits are:]

[1) A Sentient Flame that has the same element as the Elemental Spirit]

[2) Elemental Ascendance: 100 percent]

[3) Divine World Core x 3]

[4) Divine Grade Fruit or Seed x 3]

[5) Divine Essence of Nature x one billion units]

’That’s it? Only five requirements?’

Looking at the five evolution requirements for his Elemental Spirits, Ajax felt it was not difficult.

Except for the Sentient Flame, the remaining four requirements were a piece of cake for Ajax.

’All the Elemental Spirits have an Elemental Ascendance of 99.5 percent and it won’t be long before it reaches 100 percent.’

’When it comes to Divine World Cores and the Divine Grade Seeds, they are the least of my worries.’

’As for the Divine Essence of Nature, one billion units is a lot; however, my Divine Inner World produces 270 million units of Divine Essence of Nature every day.’

Ajax smiled while looking at the remaining four requirements and thought, ’In short, I have to start finding more Sentient Flames and form contracts with them as they are required to evolve my Elemental Spirits into Divine Elemental Spirits.’
