New Age Of Summoners

[Tree of Blessing] was a special tree for the elemental spirit and Ajax had the thoughts of nurturing it; however, he needed the Soul Nourishing Tree for reviving his Father and Snow.

Ajax didn’t know whether the Soul Nourishing Tree could unlock some good abilities or not; however, he had decided to nurture it to reach 1000 years.

’Swoosh’

Once Ajax decided, he didn’t waste any time as he poured 100 drops of Plant Essence for the Soul Nourishing Tree to absorb.

’Slurp’

The roots of the tree absorbed and started growing; however, compared to before, the changes in it were minimal and it didn’t unlock any new abilities.

Ajax poured another 100 drops of Plant Essence. Other than growing a few meters, there were no changes to the tree.

’As I expected. There won’t be any abilities until it reaches 500 years old.’

Ajax was not disappointed as thought about it for a moment and poured two drops of Plant Essence.

’Slurp’

’Swoosh’

There was rapid growth in the tree; however, it still didn’t unlock any ability.

Instead, the tree bore three shining black-coloured fruits which pleasantly surprised Ajax.

’Pluck.’

He had spent 500 billion trader’s tokens on the Soul Nourishing Tree and of course, he knew those fruits would be something good.

Therefore, without wasting any time, he plucked one of the fruits and checked the information on it.

’Ding,

  Item Name: Soul Protection Fruit.

  Item Grade: Mythical Grade.

Uses: 1) Main ingredient for Soul Protection Pills.

  2) Direct Consumption: Eating it directly will make a cultivator’s soul protect against the Divine Lightning while ascending.

Note: 1) It is better to refine them into Soul Protection Pills using the fruit as an alchemist can create 10-15 pills depending on his alchemy mastery.

  2) For every 100 years, only three Soul Porection Fruits will be borne by the Soul Nourishing Tree.

’A Mythcial Grade Fruit?’

Ajax was pleasantly surprised that he got three Mythical Grade Fruits because whether it was a weapon or a pill or a fruit or a formation, as long as it was a Mythical Grade, it could be considered a top-level cultivation resource in the universe,

Moreover, this Soul Protection Fruit protects the Cultivator’s Souls during the ascending tribulation.

Even if they failed their ascension, the cultivators could slowly nurture a new body and have a second chance at the ascension.

’If I can refine the pills, I can maximize the benefits from the Fruit.’

However, to refine the pills, Ajax needed to become an Alchemy Emperor. Moreover, he should either find a pill recipe for the Soul Protection Pill or deduce one using his past alchemy experience and theories in his head.

’For now, I am not focused on alchemy. So, it can wait.’

Ajax didn’t want to shift his focus to alchemy now as he was busy with so many things already.

Soon, Ajax picked the other two Soul Protection Fruits and stored them in Jade Boxes before pouring Plant Essence into the Soul Nourishing Tree in 100 drops intervals.

’It reached 600 years old and bore another three fruits.’

Ajax picked the fruits and gave another 100 drops of Plant Essence to the tree and he kept repeating the process until the tree reached 1000 years.

By now, Ajax had already collected 15 Soul Protection Fruits and looked expectantly at the tree that would reach 1000 years after drinking the plant essence he just poured.

Soon, the changes in the tree came to an end as Ajax saw three new Soul Protection Fruits hanging on the tree.

’Ding,

The Soul Nourishing Tree has reached 1000 years and became a Millennial Tree.

’Ding,

A New Ability [Soul Nest] has been unlocked.

Finally, what Ajax was waiting for had happened as he heaved a sigh of relief to see the Soul Nourishing Tree unlock another ability.

’Give me more information about the ability.’

With an order, the system sent him a notification filled with the new ability’s details.

’Ding,

  Ability Name: Soul Nest.

Effect: By dropping a single drop of blood, a cultivator can directly establish the connection with the Soul Nourishing Tree. Upon the death of the cultivator, his soul will be directly teleported to this Soul Nest before nourishing it.

  Number of Slots: 0 / 1.

’Instant teleportation of the soul? Very useful ability.’

In Ajax’s view, it was quite a good ability because even if a regular cultivator’s soul was lucky enough to leave the body in time, the enemy won’t let the soul escape so easily.

However, if he could instantly teleport that soul away from the place, it would be considered a life-saving trump card.

’What’s more, the first ability [Soul Nourishment] has been upgraded.’

The ability’s cooldown had long reset when the Soul Nourishment Tree’s age reached 200 years; however, Ajax focused on nurturing the tree and decided to wait for a while before connecting his father’s soul to the tree for the nourishment.

However, when it reached 1000 years old, the tree not only unlocked a new ability but also upgraded the first ability.

’Number of slots increased from one to three. Not bad.’

Nodding his head, Ajax ordered the system. ’Connect father’s soul with the tree and let his soul be nourished by the tree.’

’Swoosh’

In the next second, a bright golden-coloured soul came out of Ajax’s body as it attached to one of the branches of the Soul Nourishing Tree.

’Swoosh’

Just like how Snow’s Soul Orb glowed, Ajax’s father Vaugh’s soul emitted bright golden light.

”Son, I haven’t seen you for a while and you have already become so powerful.”

Soon, Ajax heard his father’s excited voice and just like before, Ajax put away everything and started speaking with his father after quite a lot of time.

Actually, it’s been not a long time; however, Ajax stayed seven years in the Floating Island and hence he felt it’s been quite a long time.

”So, not only did you become an Emperor Realm Cultivator but you even have lots of trader’s tokens.”

After their discussion, Vaugh said to Ajax, ”I think it is time to create a new body for me.”

He paused for a moment and said, ”And for her.”
