New Age Of Summoners

After two days,

’Ding,

The host has successfully learned the Dark Cultivator’s Souls, the [Umbral Concealment] and the [Nightmare Weaving].

After returning from the Trader’s Realm, Ajax was fully focused on learning as many cultivators’ souls as possible.

However, in the two days, he could only learn two of them and as for the others, Ajax decided to learn them after entering the Dark Region.

That’s right!

Since he would be entering the Explored Dark Worlds belonging to the Stormfire Wyvern World, Ajax would have a lot of time to cultivate while his summon take care of the conquering.

’Since I will be entering the Great Jade Dragon World, I can’t learn any more souls for now.’

This was the reason why he stopped learning more about cultivators’ souls and decided to focus on upgrading them first.

’Before entering the Jade Pool, let’s nurture the plants.’

Ajax stretched his body a little and with a thought, he entered the Inner World.

The Inner World was filled with many Elemental Paradise and all Elemental Spirits and the Contracted Spirit Beasts were immersed in those Elemental Paradises and cultivated.

’Once I take care of the Plant Essence, I should help my Contracted Spirit Beasts in awakening their Bestial Divine Rules.’

Just like how humans needed Divine Rules, the beasts also needed to have their own Divine Rules and only by succeeding in the tribulation, they could ascend to the Human Bestial Realm.

Of course, since they were contracted spirit beasts, they can follow their master to the Heavenly Human Realm as long as they meet the requirements of having 100 percent awakening of a Divine Rule and passing the tribulation with their master.

Therefore, Ajax knew that he had to focus on his contracted spirit beasts also.

Anyway, for now, Ajax didn’t disturb any of them as they slowly walked towards the Grade 7 Elemental Paradise, the Lightning Pool.

In a Grade 7 Elemental Paradise, even the Emperor Realm cultivators and beasts could enjoy the pure essence of nature.

However, the size of the Elemental Paradise was small and thus it was limited to one or two of his beasts and elemental spirits.

Currently, Ceauno, the lightning elemental spirit, was the only one who was sitting on the edge of the Lightning Pool as he cultivated, trying to break through to the Emperor Realm.

”Soul Nourishing Tree, I am here.”

Looking at the tree that was around the same height as him, Ajax greeted it; however, the tree has yet to gain consciousness. So, of course, it didn’t reply to him.

’Grow’

Without wasting any time, Ajax poured 100 drops of Plant Essence on the ground around the Soul Nourishing Tree.

’Slurp’

In the next seconds, tiny black-coloured roots came out and absorbed the plant essence excitedly.

’Swoosh’

In the next second, the Soul Nourishing Tree started growing at a rapid pace. Not only height-wise but its trunk also started bulking up.

After a couple of minutes, the growth stopped and the Soul Nourishing Tree had already reached double its previous height.

The bark became smooth and silver, shimmering like moonlight, and adorned with intricate patterns that seem to glow softly.

’Ding,

The [Soul Nourishing Tree] has reached 100 years and unlocked its first ability [Soul Nourishment].

’Ding,

  Ability Name: Soul Nourishment.

Effect: No matter how weak a soul is, it will be instantly nourished.

  Cooldown: One year.

  Available Slots: 0 / 1

’Finally, it awakened its first ability.’

Ajax was excited and at the same time, he heaved a sigh of relief when he saw the effect of the [Soul Nourishment Tree]’s first ability.

’Since there is only one slot, I can only place Snow’s soul. I am sorry, father.”

Ajax had to wait for an entire year before placing the second soul and since Snow’s soul is very weak and the system could only maintain it for three months, Ajax decided to select Snow.

As for his father’s soul, it was connected to the system and there was no harm in waiting for a year or if he was lucky, he might find other treasures that could nourish the treasure.

’System, connect Snow’s soul to the Soul Nourishing Tree.’

’Swoosh’

As soon as he gave the command, Ajax saw a small white orb fly out of his body and attached to one of the branches of the Soul Nourishing Tree.

Once the orb is attached to the branch, the glow emitted by the orb brightens as though some kind of energy is filling it up.

”Master”

After a minute, Ajax heard a familiar voice from the orb which was weak but seemed excited.

”Snow.”

Unknowingly, Ajax’s eyes moistened as he said, ”I am sorry for not protecting you, Snow.”

Ajax still blamed himself for not being able to protect her as he apologized.

”Master, don’t apologize. It is my fault for not being strong.”

Soon, the conversation between Ajax and Snow continued as all the Elemental Spirits and the Contracted Spirit Beasts joined the conversation after learning about Snow’s soul.

’Swoosh’

After being nourished by the Soul Nourishing Tree, Snow’s soul orb detached from the tree and started flying around the inner world along with others.

’Now, all I have to do is find a method on how to create a body for her.’

Seeing Snow’s soul flying around the inner world, Ajax wanted to create a body for her and at the same time, he had to help her awaken a Divine Rule if he wanted to bring her with him to the Heavenly Human Realm.

’I still have 3100 drops of Plant Essence left. I will just increase the age of the Soul Nourishing Tree.’

With each drop of a Plant Essence, Ajax could increase the age of the special trees like Soul Nourishing Tree by one year and they could unlock more abilities with their age.

Even though he still has two other trees, [Tree of Blessing] and the [Special Ability Tree] in the Inner World, Ajax only wanted to focus on the Soul Nourishing Tree for now as he wanted to see what ability it could awaken next.
