New Age Of Summoners

”What? Thousands of low-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths?”

”And a hundred high-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths?”

The humanoid Wyvern brothers were shocked as they asked Fangorn at the same time, ”Fangorn, it’s not the time for joking.”

”Do you think I will joke about such things?”

Fangorn was already anxious as he was still shivering from seeing the huge number of Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths.

”Didn’t we have a lot of trouble finding these Darkfire Wraiths in our previous exploration?”

”Why did this world have so many Darkfire Wraiths in this world?”

The humanoid Wyvern brothers saw the anxious and serious look in Fangorn’s eyes and could tell that he was not lying.

However, they were still unable to believe such a large group of Darkfire Wraiths in one place.

”Draco, didn’t this world clear just one year back? How can there be such a large group of Darkfire Wraiths in one place?”

Fangorn was trying his best to suppress his anxiousness as he asked Draco who didn’t speak anything until now.

Generally, when the words in the Dark Region were cleared by the peak Emperor Realm Cultivators, they would leave low-level and a few mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths for the younger generation to train in these worlds.

The chances of all these Darkfire Wraiths staying in one place are almost impossible because these spectral creatures can’t form groups of 100 because they could absorb less dark energy.

The smaller the group, the more dark energy they could get and the stronger they would become.

Of course, it was a natural instinct for the Darkfire Wraiths and staying around the mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith, the low-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths could absorb more dark energy.

However, if the number of low-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths crossed a specific number, their absorption speed for the Dark Energy would decrease and they would slowly leave the group to either fly alone or find another mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths with less number of low-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths.

Hence, Fangorn was shocked and at the same time, he didn’t understand how there would be such a large number of Darkfire Wraiths grouped together.

”Draco, why aren’t you saying anything.”

Seeing that Draco was still lost in his thoughts, Fangorn spoke again and at the same time, he wanted to ask Ajax something; however, he realized that it was Ajax’s first time entering the Dark Region.

Hence, he didn’t ask whatever he planned to ask and waited for Draco to say something.

As the leader of the exploration squad, Draco had proven his abilities many times before and hence, Fangorn wanted to hear whether Draco had any plan for their current situation.

”This is definitely not a normal situation.”

Finally, Draco spoke as he said, ”There must be a high-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith in this world.”

”What?”

”A high-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith? How is it possible?”

”Did our higher-ups miss that high-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith?”

Fangorn and others were shocked when they heard Draco’s words.

”Think about it…how can the other two groups of Darkfire Wraiths immediately rush to us when we were fighting the first group of Darkfire Wraiths?”

Draco seriously explained, ”And now, it’s not just three mid-level Darkfire Wraiths anymore; instead, there are 100 of them that were leading thousands of low-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths.”

”It is only possible if there was a high-level Darkfire Wraith.”

Draco looked in the direction from where the Darkfire Wraiths were coming and concluded, ”I think we should better leave before we get trapped here.”

”Yes, let’s leave.”

Fangorn was the first one to agree with Draco’s words without any hesitation.

For them, handling two mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths and a group of low-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths had already put a lot of pressure on them.

Not to mention, they felt they became a little weak after hearing that ominous scream from before and didn’t want to stay in this Dark World anymore.

As for the two humanoid Wyvern brothers, they didn’t say anything but Draco and Fangorn knew their silence meant agreement,

”Brother Ajax, you agree with us, right?”

Fangorn thought about it for a moment and asked Ajax about his opinion.

He asked Ajax not because he was strong and saved him earlier; instead, he started treating Ajax as a fellow squad member because of what Ajax said after saving him.

’There is no need to feel embarrassed asking for help from a fellow squad member.’

Since Ajax was a squad member now, they should hear his opinion also before taking any kind of decision and that’s how their squad worked until now.

Even Draco and the two humanoid Wyvern brothers looked at Ajax waiting to hear his opinion.

”Will you believe me if I tell you that I can kill high-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith?”

Ajax was surprised that they already started treating him as one of their own.

However, he thought about it for a moment before asking them a question.

”I will believe you.”

It was not Fangorn who said it; instead, it was Draco.

From the moment they entered World No. 1021, Draco was always observing Ajax and he already guessed that Ajax was not a regular low-level Emperor Realm Cultivator.

When Ajax’s first mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith died, Draco felt his intuition was right and realized that Ajax was stronger.

However, when he saw how easily Ajax killed the second mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith, he felt that his overestimation of Ajax was still an underestimation.

Therefore, when Ajax said that he could kill the high-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith, he believed it without any hesitation.

As for the two humanoid Wyvern brothers, they also nodded their heads saying that they believed his words.

Only Fangorn still has some doubts as he didn’t witness how easily Ajax killed the mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith.

”So, do you want to risk staying in this world? We can kill all these spectral creatures and collect all these Darkfire Crystals?”
