New Age Of Summoners

From the left side, a mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith led  12 low-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths whereas from the right side, another mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith was leading 10 low-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths.

These two groups of Darkfire Wraiths were none other than the groups that Fangorn had seen before and even informed Draco.

According to their plan, after taking care of this first group, they were eventually planning to take care of the other two groups of Darkfire Wraiths.

However, who would have expected that they fell into the trap of these supposedly mindless creatures?

’Did their intelligence evolve? It hasn’t been that long since this world was cleared and the mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths won’t have the ability to think properly much less trapping us by forming teams with other mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths.’

Looking at the rushing two groups of Darkfire Wraiths, Draco became a little anxious as he hurriedly informed Fangorn and others.

”It’s a trap. Everyone, kill one or two low-level Darkfire Wraiths and let’s run.’

As soon as he said these words, Draco used his most powerful attacking skill, to free himself from the mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith that he was fighting with.

[Inferno Eclipse Breath]

A fiery heat wave came out of Draco’s mouth that pushed the mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith a few meters back.

[Galewing Fire Assault]

After pushing the mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith back, Draco uses one of his most energy-consuming skills.

’Swoosh’

The wyvern wings on his back were already huge and after he activated his skill, they doubled in size as the two wings were entirely covered with flames.

’Swoosh’

’Slash’

’Slash’

Without further ado, Draco flew through the low-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths that Fangorn and others were fighting and instantly killed five of them with his fiery wings.

”Save your energy and run.”

After shouting at Fangorn and others, Draco flew towards Ajax and caught him before flying into the distance.

”Are we escaping?”

For a moment, Ajax was shocked to see that Draco was much more powerful than he had expected because the other party was able to kill five low-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths with a single attack.

’If there were no mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths, he could easily kill hundreds or even thousands of low-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths with his powerful skills and cultivation techniques.’

This was what Ajax thought as he waited for Draco’s answer.

”No. It’s a strategic retreat.”

Draco didn’t think so as he directly replied to Ajax before asking, ”I want to ask you one thing. Did you enter my Exploration Squad for undergoing the blood tempering with the Sentient Flame?”

”Yes.”

Ajax nodded his head as he looked back at Fangorn and the two humanoid Wyvern brothers who were flying behind them.

”Leader, how long are we going to fly? That mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith must have already marked you. No matter where we hide in this world, it would be only a matter of time before it catches up to us along with the other two mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths and their minions.”

Fangron had already caught up to them and asked Draco for the next step in their plan.

’...’

Dracon remained silent for a while and looked at Ajax whom he was carrying and asked,

”So, can you stall a mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith for 10 minutes?”

”Leader”

Fangorn was shocked and unconsciously called Draco; however, Draco didn’t reply to him as he waited for Ajax’s reply.

Even though Draco didn’t want to take Ajax’s help, they were currently being chased by three mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths along with a group of more than 25 low-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths.

Hence, Draco thought that he should take Ajax’s help; however, he didn’t know Ajax’s capabilities and didn’t want to send him to death as he didn’t want Prince Dakon to torture their squad for Ajax.

That’s why he asked Ajax about his capabilities and if Ajax lied about it and got killed then  Draco can’t do anything about it as they would die anyway if they don’t try anything.

The thing is Draco’s impression of Ajax had improved a little when he saw how calm and relaxed Ajax was and it was also one of the reasons why Draco felt that he should ask for help from Ajax.

”I can do that.”

Even though Ajax didn’t fight these Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths, Ajax fought the peak-level emperor realm Demons a couple of days back. So, he was confident in taking care of a mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith much less stalling for time.

Nevertheless, he didn’t bother to say that as he wanted to see how Draco could come out of this serious situation.

’Only by going through life and death, a cultivator could unlock his hidden potential.’

This was also one of Elder Boron’s teachings that Ajax remembered from back then.

”Just stall for 10 minutes until we take care of those low-level and mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths.”

Soon, Draco started planning by putting Ajax into one of the main roles.

It only took a single minute for Draco to finalize his plan as he explained the plan and roles to his squad members.

”Fangorn, I know it would be hard for you but, you have to stall a mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith for a few minutes before Wynd and Fyre join you after killing all the low-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths.”

”Wynd and Fyre, go all out. There is no need to save any energy for later use. Kill the low-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths as soon as possible before helping Fangorn deal with the mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith.”

”As for Ajax, he would stall the third mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith for 10 minutes by then, I will kill the first mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith before joining him to deal with the third Darkfire.”

While explaining the plan and roles to Ajax and others, Draco and others changed their directions as they flew towards Darkfire Wraiths with serious looks on their faces except for Ajax.
