New Age Of Summoners

’Huh? It committed Suicide?’

Ajax was surprised for a moment before shaking his head in disappointment, ’Maybe I was too harsh on it.’

Even though he was a little disappointed that the mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith was dead, Ajax didn’t think much about it.

The reason why he was disappointed was because he didn’t want to remove the pressure from Draco and others so soon.

Now, without the mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith, they could take their own time to slowly kill their opponents.

’I try my best to keep it alive for another few minutes; however, it has a weak heart.’

While muttering that, Ajax looked at Draco and others.

Earlier, when he was checking on him, the mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith that he was fighting had committed suicide. So, he resumed what he was doing with full attention now.

Draco, as expected, was involved in an intense fight with the stronger mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith and he was having the upper hand in the fight.

’In five minutes or so, he could easily kill it; however, since he already saw that my opponent is dead, he might take it easy and extend the battle.’

Ajax was hoping that Draco wouldn’t take it easy and complete the battle as soon as possible.

The two humanoid Wyvern brothers were having quite fun as they were killing the low-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths within two or three attacks.

Even though they were receiving attacks from the other low-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths, they didn’t care much and continued to slaughter them by exchanging injuries for their lives.

’They are tough.’

Ajax muttered in his head as his eyes finally landed on Fangorn who was flying above the huge cyclone and using it to fight the mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith.

Even though he had some skills, Ajax could tell that Fangorn was barely in control of the fight with his opponent.

’It looks like he won’t last for much longer.’

Ajax silently evaluated Fangorn; however, he didn’t look down on him because Fangorn was only a low-level Emperor Realm Cultivator and he was fighting a mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith.

’I will wait until he calls for my help or if he is really in danger.’

Ajax didn’t mind these Wyverns looking down on him as their mentality was like and it could not be changed in a day or with a few words.

However, he was hoping that Fangorn would put away his attitude and ask Ajax for help.

Nevertheless, even if Fangorn won’t ask, Ajax was planning to help him in the critical moment not because he was fond of them; instead, it was because of Prince Dakon.

’Since Uncle Dakon recommended this exploration squad, that means these squad members mean something to him.’

As Dakon’s sworn brother’s disciple, Ajax won’t be sent to some foreign world with some random cultivators by him. Therefore, Ajax didn’t want anyone to die from the squad.

’System, analyse the Darkfire Crystal.’

While keeping an eye on Fangorn and others, Ajax collected the mid-level Darkfire Crystal and asked the system to analyze it.

Earlier, the system asked Ajax to collect a sample and Ajax got it. Hence, he was looking forward to seeing the uses of the Darkfire Crystal.

….

’H-he killed a mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith in less than five minutes?’

On the other hand, Draco and the other squad members were shocked to notice that Ajax was standing alone with a mid-level Darkfire Crystal in his hand.

Actually, they were so busy with the fight that they didn’t dare to shift their focus onto Ajax even though they heard a loud screech.

Finally, when they got a moment to check on Ajax, there was no mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith and Ajax was alone while looking at them.

’How did he do that?’

’Did he use any trump cards?’

Except for Draco, the other three squad members were unable to accept the fact that Ajax killed the mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith with his strength and thought he must have relied on the external items.

’As I expected…he is not a normal human emperor realm cultivator.’

As for Draco, he heaved a sigh of relief that he decided to believe Ajax’s capabilities and muttered, ’I wonder whether he was a low-level Emperor Realm cultivator or hiding his cultivation?’

Nevertheless, Draco didn’t bother to think much about such things right now and decided to kill his opponent as soon as possible.

’That human is strong.’

’Even though I don’t like humans, I don’t mind befriending a strong human.’

Earlier, the two humanoid Wyvern brothers were looking down on Ajax; however, when they saw how coolly Ajax was standing after killing a mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith.

Hence, they no longer want to look down on Ajax; if possible, they want to befriend Ajax.

These humanoid wyverns brothers were simple. They hate weak for being weak and like strong for being strong.

’Damn it…why is he standing like that? Can’t he see that I am having a hard time?’

However, Fangorn was a completely different breed of wyvern as he silently cursed Ajax for not helping him.

Among the three groups, he was the only one who had a trouble time in dealing with the mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith and anyone could tell that with a single look.

’Does he want me to beg for his help?’

For a moment, this thought came to his head and momentarily, he lost focus in his mind.

’Swoosh’

He was slapped away by the mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith and pushed away for more than 10 meters.

’Cough’

’Aargh’

Even though he protected his vitals, Fangorn still suffered some injuries, making him cough a mouthful of blood.

[Dark Spectral Claw]

At the same time, he saw the Spectral Being activate one of his deadly skills and flew towards him.

’I am not going to ask for his help…I am not going to ask…not ask..’

Fangorn muttered in his heart to not ask for Ajax’s help; however, suddenly, he shouted, ”Please help me.”
