New Age Of Summoners

”The special dimensional crevice, as its name suggests unlocks some special features like ’Clear law’ which helps in increasing the chances of awakening a law, ’Awaken skill’ that helps the beings inside the dimensional crevice to learn a skill from their ancient memories and many more that would make others jealous.”

”You have to be careful and try your best to keep the features of your dimensional crevice to yourself and if someone finds out, just kill them lest you want to become like me.”

The old man started explaining the features of the special dimensional crevice with excitement; however, he became a little sad as he sighed by the time he came to an end.

The old man’s spirit consciousness was flickering; however, it didn’t disappear and explained everything in the flow.

’Huh?’

Ajax was surprised when he heard about the special features of the dimensional crevice; however, the old man’s last line made him raise his brows as he understood something.

”Don’t be surprised.”

The old man shook his head as he explained, ”It is not the dimensional crevice that led me to my demise, it was my kindness. In this world, it is better to be cruel than to be kind to get killed. ”

”It was my first battle with a fellow dimensional crevice’s owner. I defeated him without much difficulty; however, I was young and naive at that time. So, I let him live and allowed my dimensional crevice to devour his dimensional crevice because he would have done the same if he had won the fight.”

Soon, the old man explained his past as he continued, ”However, who would have thought that my normal dimensional crevice would be mutated after devouring its first-dimensional crevice and became a special one.”

”I was so excited and forgot about the defeated cultivator and went to celebrate the good news with my family. However, that cultivator spread the news in the entire greater world and made everyone believe that I have a special dimensional crevice. Even though I was able to escape from there, my family was not so lucky.”

”After hiding and cultivating in secret for many years with the help of my special dimensional crevice, I was able to destroy everyone that came after me but somehow a mysterious group started hunting me down for thousands of years. The more I kill my pursuers, the more cultivators keep on coming with increased cultivation until I am killed by them.”

The old man started becoming sadder and sadder with each line he said to Ajax; however, Ajax was listening to them without missing anything.

”However, before I die, I used one of the special features to teleport the dimensional crevice to this world which was very far.”

Finally, a smirk appeared on the old man’s face as he ended his past.

”...”

After hearing everything, Ajax was having mixed feelings in his head and felt like the old man’s initial story was similar to him.

In his case, he only lost his friends from the orphanage; however, the old man lost his entire family.

Soon, the cold look disappeared from Ajax’s face and remained silent for a moment before asking, ”You still didn’t explain to me about the functions of the dimensional crevice.”

Ajax just wanted to divert the topic and at the same time, he wanted to know what was the first special feature that the dimensional crevice unlocked that made the entire greater world pursue the old man.

Actually, the greater world’s cultivators are already powerful and have enough cultivation resources and as long as they work hard a little bit, reaching the King realm or the Emperor realm is not a big issue.

So, Ajax was curious about the first special feature of the dimensional crevice.

”You still didn’t ask my name...Kids these are...Sigh”

When he heard Ajax’s question, the old man shook his head and sighed.

”Okay then. First, tell me your name and then the first special feature of the dimensional crevice.”

Ajax was speechless at the old man’s words; however, he felt what the old man said was right.

It was a basic thing to know as the old man’s successor for the dimensional crevice. So, Ajax nodded his head.

”My name is Tannas Valen and I named the spirit of this special dimensional crevice as Inys whom you have already met.”

The old man proudly introduced himself as he continued, ”I am called by many names and the most famous one is ’Illusion master’. I will leave some illusion techniques for you to try. Even though it is very hard for you to learn, there is no harm in trying. Okay then, my time has come. I will be leaving. Hope you take good care of this dimensional crevice.”

’Swoosh’

As soon as he finished his words, the old man named Tannas Valen disappeared from the mid-air without a trace.

”What the hell? Don’t go. Come back and tell me the special feature of the dimensional crevice”

Ajax shouted at the place where the old man disappeared; however, the old man had long gone.

’Is this the reason why he asked me to ask him his name?’

Ajax cursed the old man as he thought, ’It looks like he didn’t have the intentions to tell me about the special functions of this dimensional crevice.’

Ajax became frustrated as he clenched his fists in anger.

’Huh? Wait a second.’

All of a sudden, Ajax thought about something that made his anger disappear into thin air and it was, ’I can always be the dimensional crevice’s spirit Inys.’

Once he thought that, Ajax felt a little better.

’Swoosh’

Soon, his body also disappeared from the illusion realm and appeared in the same place he disappeared from earlier.

”Master.”

As soon as he came out, the dimensional spirit appeared in front of him and respectfully greeted him.

’Ding,

Congratulations to the host for successfully gaining ownership of the dimensional crevice.
