New Age Of Summoners

’Huf huf’

’Finally, I am here.’

Ajax ran for hundreds of kilometers within a few hours as he reached the place where his dimensional crevice was situated.

”Valen, why are you not pulling me in?”

Ajax checked his surroundings first and then shouted into the thin air.

’Swoosh’

Tannas Valen was the name of the dimensional crevice’s spirit and as soon as Ajax shouted, he disappeared from his place without a trace.

”Master, I am here.”

After pulling Ajax into the dimensional crevice, the spirit bowed to Ajax as he greeted him.

”Good. I want to initiate the main trial to gain the complete ownership of the dimensional crevice.”

Without wasting any time, Ajax directly stated the purpose of his visit.

”I see. Just wait for a second, master. I will come back.”

Valen was not surprised at Ajax’s words because he could sense Ajax’s was much more powerful than the last time he entered the dimensional crevice.

So, he disappeared from his place for a couple of seconds before reappearing in front of Ajax with a purple-coloured ring in his hands.

”Master, before I explain about the final trial, are you sure about claiming the complete ownership of the dimensional crevice and the troubles that will come along with it?”

The spirit didn’t give the purple-coloured ring to Ajax immediately; instead, he asked whether Ajax was sure about it.

The spirit had already explained that the previous owner of the dimensional crevice was hunted down by someone for the sake of this dimensional crevice. So, if he becomes the owner of this dimensional crevice, then all those cultivators will hunt him down too.

So, as the spirit of the dimensional crevice, it was his duty to remind Ajax, who wanted to become the complete owner of the dimensional crevice.

”I am sure.”

Ajax didn’t even flinch a little because he knew how rare it was to find a dimensional crevice much less a very special one that was sought by many.

So, without any hesitation, Ajax nodded his head.

”Let the ring absorb your blood.”

Tannas Valen nodded his head as he gave the purple-coloured ring to Ajax while saying what he had to do.

’Hm’

Ajax didn’t ask any questions as he followed what the spirit had said and dropped a few blood drops.

At the same time, he checked the information about the ring.

’Ding,

     Item name:- Trial management ring.

Effect:- An item that is used to store trials in it and as long as the trial in the ring is completed, the cultivator who completed it will get the listed rewards.

More information:- A special item that is very hard to find even in the greater world.

’Oh.’

Ajax was pleasantly surprised to see the information about the ring; however, before he could even think about anything, he heard the dimensional crevice spirit’s word.

”I hope you will complete this mission, Master Ajax.”

’Aargh’

’Swoosh’

Soon, a sharp pain appeared in his head before he disappeared from his place.

’He is waiting for a good successor for all this time to pass his knowledge to him.’

’As long as he completes the trial, the previous master’s soul that was trapped inside the ring will disappear and allow him to rest in peace.’

After Ajax disappeared from his place, the spirit, Tannas Valen muttered to himself before disappearing from his place.

...….

In the depths of the Cursed Wilderness,

”Hector, how long will it take you to reach level 10 elite general realm?”

A young man in brown coloured robes asked another young man in azure robes.

They were none other than Hector and Damon.

After coming back from the Champion’s contest, Elder Boron made them cultivate even harder and forced them to cultivate without any rest.

Moreover, they got new robes that specified their elemental affinity.

Since Hector was a wind elemental summoner, he was given azure coloured robes whereas Damon got the brown coloured robes.

Currently, both of them are having a friendly spar without using any of their elemental spirits.

’Kick’

”Why do you care? No matter how long it takes, I will be faster than you.”

With a powerful, Hector scoffed at Damon.

’Pak’

Even though the kick was powerful, Damon was known for his defence. So, he was able to stop the kick with his single hand as he replied, ”Really? I doubt that?”

After saying that, Damon jumped backwards and landed on the ground as he revealed a slight smile on his face.

”Why?”

Hector felt something was not right when he saw the smile on Damon’s face and asked him while preparing his fastest attack.

”Haha”

Damon didn’t give any reply; instead, he laughed out loud.

”Elder Boron said that one should not be proud and over-confident to let his guard down.”

’Swoosh’

As soon as he finished his words, Hector was like a wind appeared in front of Damon within a split second.

”When did I let my guard down?”

”Absolute defence.”

While maintaining the same smile on his face, Damon shouted two words as loudly as possible with great excitement.

’Dhoosm’

Just when Hector’s punch was about to land on Damon’s face, a thin barrier appeared out of nowhere as it blasted Hector into a distant tree.

’What...the...hell?’

Hector groaned in his pain as he forced himself to stand and tried his best to shout at Damon.

’Haha’

Seeing that, Damon laughed with an evil look on his face as he slowly started explaining, ”Oh Hector, not only I became a level 10 elite general real cultivator but I was lucky to awaken a cultivator’s law yesterday...Haha.”

After finishing his explanation, Damon started laughing like a maniac.

”What? How is it possible?”

Hector was shocked as he looked at Damon with a bitter smile as he thought, ’No wonder, you wanted to have a spar with me.’

”Don’t worry I will catch up.”

Nevertheless, he controlled his emotions as he slowly walked towards Damon and asked, ”Anyway, what is it called?”
