New Age Of Summoners

’Roar’

After he absorbed more than five demonic creatures around him, the demonic creatures that were gloating on Ajax’s misfortune angrily roared at him before jumping towards him.

’Oh no. Why did they change their strategy now?’

Looking at the incoming demonic creatures, Ajax was a little worried because until now, whenever a demonic creature disappeared, another demonic creature would take its place; however, now, all the remaining demonic creatures were jumping at him to devour his spirit consciousness that was barely recovered to 70 percent of his whole body.

After absorbing five demonic creatures to temper his body, his spirit consciousness had received quite a bit and Ajax didn’t want to feel the same pain again.

’What I feared the most is happening much earlier than I thought.’

Actually, Ajax had already thought that when he absorbed more than half of the demonic creatures, the remaining demonic creatures would rush at him.

However, he didn’t expect them to rush at him when he barely absorbed five demonic creatures.

’I have to speed up the process and circulate ’Heaven and Earth refining technique’ as fast as possible.’

Until now, Ajax was fearing that if he circulated his main cultivation technique at full speed, then it might make the other demonic creatures rush at him; however, now, since all demonic creatures were already rushing towards him, Ajax didn’t bother to circulate his main cultivation technique at normal speed and increased it to full pace.

”Swoosh”

As soon as he started circulating his main cultivation technique, it only took a couple of seconds to finish one complete circle and at the same time, three of the demonic creatures disappeared meaning Ajax absorbed them to temper his body.

’That’s it! I can do it.’

After seeing the speed of his main cultivation technique, Ajax was unable to control his excitement as he continued to circulate the cultivation technique.

However, the demonic creatures were much faster than earlier and the rate at which they devoured him was also very fast making it impossible for Ajax to complete the next circulation.

’Roar’

’Kacha’

Before he could do something, more than a dozen demonic creatures started eating him and before he knew what was happening, there was only his head left.

As for the rest of his body, it was completely devoured by the demonic creatures.

’I thought I am the only one who is holding back but it looks like you are also holding back.’

With the last remaining portion of his missing body, Ajax looked at the demonic creatures who were eyeing his head and thought with a bitter look on his head.

’Looks like I am going to die now. I feel sorry for my summons for dying along with me.’

After seeing the speed at which the demonic creatures were devouring him, Ajax lost all his hopes of getting out of there alive. So, he came to the conclusion that he would die today.

However, he thought about his summons and felt it was his biggest regret because they didn’t get a chance to fight the enemy and they were going to die without any knowledge about it.

’Swoosh’

Just when his head was about to be devoured by one of the largest demonic creatures, a small light ball appeared from the distance which froze all the demonic creatures around Ajax.

’What is that? What is happening here?’

Ajax was shocked to see the sudden appearance of a small light ball and looking at the frozen demonic creatures around him, Ajax was puzzled and curiously looked at the incoming small light ball.

’Earlier, it was some kind of mirror that helped me get clarity regarding my demon version and now there is a small light ball that seems to be coming to my rescue. I wonder, where are all these items coming from?’

Ajax thought back to the time where he was stubborn to admit the fact that ’I like killing’ with his demonized version, the mirror artifact appeared out of nowhere to help him; however, he didn’t know it was a mirror artifact but he caught a glimpse of it.

And now, there is a small light ball that appeared out of nowhere and seems to be helping him. So, he thought about who might be sending them to help him.

’My name is Calden and I am the ancestor of the demon fox tribe.’

Just as he was thinking, Ajax saw that the small light ball hover in front of him and introduced itself.

’Ancestor of the demon fox tribe? Aren’t you the statue that my demonized version destroyed a few minutes earlier?’

After merging with his demonized version, Ajax knew what he had done. Even though he was not clear about many things, he knew that his demonized version had destroyed the ancestor statue of the demon fox tribe and defeated the tribe leader Deon.

”Yes. You owe me one this time. I hope you return the favour in the future when we meet again.”

The small light ball seemed to be a little annoyed when it heard Ajax’s words but it said the words it was supposed to say before entering into Ajax’s head.

’What? I owe you? I have to repay you?’

Ajax was shocked to hear the small light ball’s words as he didn’t understand them completely; however, he was sure about one thing and it was that he could escape from his current situation.

’Let’s finish it.’

With that thought in his mind, Ajax revealed an excited smile on his face as he circulated his main cultivation technique ’Heaven and Earth refining technique’ to absorb all the demonic creatures that were frozen by the ancestor Calden.

’Swoosh’

’Aargh’

’Swoosh’

’Aargh’

As soon as he started circulating his main cultivation technique, the demonic creatures started disappeared one by one and at the same time, he started groaning in pain.

Compared to earlier, the pain was a little less, maybe because of no movement from the demonic creatures; however, Ajax was not bothered by it as he continued what he was doing.
