New Age Of Summoners

”So, are you ready to fight me?”

After thinking about it, the tribe leader Deon asked Ajax with a slight smile on his face.

”Old man….”

”I know the rules but to be on the safe side, why don’t you explain to me.”

Before Errol could say something, Ajax interrupted him as he replied to Deon with a nonchalant look on his face.

”Sure.”

Deon nodded his head; however, when they heard Ajax’s words, the elders of the demon fox tribe scoffed at Ajax.

Other than that they didn’t say anything.

”For the first condition, you have to defeat me without the help of your elemental spirits or contracted spirit beasts and as for the second condition, you have to get the approval of my tribe’s ancestor.”

By the end of his words, Deon pointed his fingers to the huge demon fox statue which was outside the tribe.

”Good.”

Ajax nodded his head as he asked, ”Can I use the weapons or other items on me or not?”

While asking that, Ajax maintained a calm look; however, deep down, he was hoping Deon would agree to his word.

”You can use weapons.”

Using a weapon was not mentioned as against the rules in their ancestors’ records. So, Deon said that Ajax could use the weapons.

”The first condition is okay but I have some concerns about the second condition. I don’t know how it works.”

Ajax raised another concern that made Deon and other elders a little impatient.

”I will make this clear to you once and for all. If my tribe’s ancestor feels that you are worthy, then you will get his approval; otherwise, you will not and If you have any concerns about it, then you can just leave and forget about the challenge.”

By the time Deon finished his words, his words contained a little anger.

”Okay then. I am ready to fight you.”

As soon as he got hold of the conditions, Ajax stood up from his chair and said to Deon.

”Good. Let’s fight in front of my tribe’s ancestor.”

Deon’s anger disappeared when he saw how fast Ajax was and decided the fighting grounds for them to fight.

Soon, everyone started walking towards the open place in front of the ancestor statue.

’Ajax, do you know what you are doing? It is very risky.’

Along the way, Errol anxiously transmitted his voice to Ajax and asked about his actions.

’Don’t worry, uncle Errol. I know what I am doing.’

With a slight smile on his face, Ajax replied back to Errol as he continued saying, ’Since the old man wants a fight, then he will get one.’

’Sigh...genius young men these days are….’

Seeing the carefree attitude of Ajax, Errol shook his head because he knew it was impossible for Ajax to win against the old man Deon who had reached the level 10 elite general realm a couple of years ago.

As for Ajax, he was only a level 2 general realm cultivator.

In Errol’s opinion, with the support of the elemental spirits and the contracted spirit beasts, it was an impossible thing for Ajax to win the fight, much less get the approval of the ancestor statue.

’I hope he knows what he is going to do.’

Errol didn’t have the right to stop Ajax from doing what he wanted to do. So, he didn’t try to convince Ajax much.

What Errol feared was not the tribe leader Deon or any other elders, it was the ancestor statue he was worried about.

As long as Ajax defeats the tribe leader Deon by rules, the ancestor statue would not harm Ajax and he might even give his approval; however, if Ajax asks one of his powerful elemental spirits to attack Deon, then the ancestor statue would kill Ajax.

Soon, they reached the open place and at the same time, all the tribesmen of the demon fox tribe stopped what they were doing and rushed towards the open place to watch the fight.

”Uncle Errol, don’t worry. A level 10 elite general old re-cultivated spirit beast is fighting a level 2 general realm young man. So, the tribe leader would go easy on me.”

Once the open place was completely surrounded by the entire demon fox tribesmen, Ajax said to Errol with a slight smile on his face.

’Huh?’

Errol frowned when he heard Ajax’s words because he didn’t understand why Ajax said those words to him.

Moreover, until now, they were secretly talking through the voice transmission. So, he couldn’t help but think about what Ajax was planning to do.

Not only Errol but even Deon and other elders of the Demon fox tribe frown when they heard Ajax’s words because they were also clueless regarding Ajax’s earlier words to Errol.

’What? The challenge is just a level 2 general realm cultivator?’

’Does he have a death wish or what?’

’How dare he come to our tribe with such a lousy cultivation?”

’What’s more, he even challenged the tribe leader.’

’Tribe leader, just kill him as an example for others who dare to challenge our tribe with such a low cultivation.’

’Moreover, I wonder why the tribe leader agreed to his challenge?’

’Isn’t it better to just kill him first and talk later?’

Soon, the entire tribe was filled with whispers as they cursed Ajax for challenging their tribe with such low cultivation.

If the challenger had high-level cultivation, then no one would have bothered to curse Ajax because all the tribesmen wished that one day a powerful cultivator would come to their tribe and make them his subordinates.

However, with just a single look, all the tribesmen concluded that Ajax was not a worthy challenger.

’Isn’t it a little too much for the tribe leader to fight a level 2 general realm cultivator?’

Among many whispers, Deon heard a whisper that made him frown.

”Haha”

The tribe leader Deon only frowned for a few moments before understanding what Ajax was trying to do and after understanding that, he could not help but laugh out loud.
