New Age Of Summoners

’Let’s do it.’

Ajax said to the system as he decided to absorb the demonic energy into his body to temper it.

’Ding,

Host, there is something you need to know before absorbing the demonic energy into your body.

’Huh? What is it?’

Just when he was about to absorb the demonic energy back into his body, Ajax received a system notification that made him frown before asking the system about it.

’Ding,

There are three energies that will make a cultivator go insane if he were to absorb them into his body for tempering.

’Ding,

They are Devil energy, Beastial energy and Demonic energy. So, the decision is up to the host to choose.

Soon, Ajax got two system notifications explaining about three energies; however, Ajax was adamant on not admitting the defeat. So, without thinking much he decided to continue doing what he wanted to do.

’As long as I temper my body with it, not only will I be able to fight again but my body will become stronger.’

Without wasting any time, Ajax directly sat cross-legged and started absorbing the energy into his body.

’Damn it. It is more painful than I expected.’

Ajax was expecting the sudden surge in the pain; however, he didn’t expect the pain to be so fierce that made him stop what he was doing.

Nevertheless, with all the pain enduring tips he got from the old voice in his head, Ajax continued to absorb the demonic energy into his body for tempering.

’Aargh’

Soon, the pain started increasing all over his body at an incredible speed which made Ajax groan continuously.

’Huh? What is he doing?’

’Is it my eyes or everyone can see that the demonic energy from our tribe leader Deon is decreasing on his body?’

’Yeah. Earlier, his body was entirely covered in dense demonic energy; however, the dark black colour of the demonic energy is becoming lighter and lighter.’

’It looks like our tribe leader is showing mercy on him and retracting the demonic energy.’

’But why does it look like he was having so much pain compared to before.’

All the demon fox tribesmen were observing Ajax and discussed among themselves while looking at their tribe leader.

’What is happening to my demonic energy? Is he absorbing into his body?’

’Isn’t he worried that it would make him insane?’

However, the tribe leader Deon also looked at Ajax with a frown because he knew that absorbing the demonic energy into the body would do nothing good.

Even tribe leader Deon had to use a legend grade artifact just to store the demonic energy he collected over the past few decades from who knows where.

’I will retract the demonic energy as it would do nothing good for me or my tribe.’

With the thought in his mind, the tribe leader Deon chose to retract his demonic energy.

Without wasting any time, Deon extended his hand and in his hand, there was a small black-coloured gourd.

’Huh?’

However, the demonic energy didn’t leave Ajax as it was absorbed by Ajax at a rapid pace that made the tribe leader Deon frown.

’Why is it not coming back?’

Soon, the tribe leader Deon used even more force to pull the demonic energy on Ajax’s body; however, there was no response from the demonic energy as though something was pulling it from the other side which was, of course, Ajax.

’Ajax, stop absorbing the demonic energy. You can’t handle it.’

With a serious look on his face, the tribe leader Deon transmitted his voice into Ajax who was twitching on the ground while letting out painful grains occasionally.

’I...I c...can’t.’

In the tribe leader Deon’s head, Ajax replied as though he was enduring so much pain.

’Sigh’

Hearing that reply, the tribe leader Deon could not help but sigh and thought in his head, ’What should I do now?’

’I need to kill him before he goes crazy from absorbing the demonic energy.’

Actually, the tribe leader Deon’s intention was just to help Ajax learn a lesson that he should not overestimate himself with such low cultivation.

However, who would have thought that things would turn out like this and in the end he had to kill Ajax before he could absorb the demonic energy completely.

Otherwise, it would be impossible to stop Ajax once he turns crazy.

After absorbing the demonic energy in large quantities, it would make any cultivator powerful. Very powerful enough to go against any cultivators below the King realm.

However, they could not maintain the state for much longer and to maintain that state, they have to kill other beings.

In that state, they will have only one thought and it was to survive. Survive by any possible means.

Once they killed everyone around them, they would become even more crazy and would kill themselves.

Since there is no way the tribe leader Deon could save Ajax after absorbing the demonic energy, all he could do was to kill Ajax before Ajax could finish absorbing completely.

”Sorry, Ajax. I have to do it for the sake ofo my tribe.”

’Swoosh’

The tribe leader Deon apologized to Ajax before rushing towards him with an intent to kill him.

’Let’s save our master.’

Once they saw what was happening in front of them, all the elemental spirits and the re-cultivated spirit beasts didn’t hesitate to jump into the fighting grounds to stop the tribe leader Deon from killing Ajax.

’Swoosh’

’What the hell?’

However, before they could even take a single step, the tribe leader Deon was already in front of Ajax and his claws were aimed at Ajax’s heart until they were stopped by Ajax’s hand.

That’s right!

Ajax’s eyes were still closed; however, he stopped the tribe leader’s claw with a single hand, giving everyone who was watching the fight shocked.

As for Ajax’s elemental spirits and the spirit beasts, they heaved a sigh of relief for a moment; however, they felt something was not right.

”Kill”

All of a sudden, Ajax opened his eyes and said a single word that resounded in everyone’s ears.

And the most important thing is Ajax’s eyes. They were pitch black and looking into them would make anyone feel like they were falling into an endless abyss.

The first response from almost 90 percent of the on-lookers was to close their eyes and move away as far as possible.

”Everyone, enter into the tribe.”

As for the tribe leader Deon, he shouted at his tribesmen as he rushed forward to fight Ajax to give enough time for all his tribesmen to enter into the tribe.

”Yes, tribe leader Deon.”

Everyone nodded their heads and rushed into the tribe because they knew they would be protected by their ancestor as long as they were inside the tribe.

”Errol, take them inside with you. Ajax will not recognize anyone. All he wants to do is kill them.”

After giving orders to his tribesmen, the tribe leader Deon said to Errol to bring the elemental spirits and the spirit beasts into the tribe.

”Sure.”

Errol nodded his head and urged the elemental spirits and re-cultivated spirit beasts to enter into the tribe along with him.

”We are not leaving with our summoning master.”

”That’s right! We will stop our master and help him revert back to normal.”

Soon, all the elemental spirits and the contracted spirit beasts shook their heads and rushed towards Ajax to stop him from doing something unspeakable.

They knew that their master would not harm innocent people and if they didn’t help Ajax return to his previous self, then they would die along with their master anyway.

So, they were not afraid to die in the process of helping their master to return back to his normal self.

’Sigh’

Errol sighed and looked at the serious looks on the faces of Ajax’s summons.

”I will help him too.”

Just as the elemental spirits and the contracted spirit beasts were about to rush towards Ajax, Errol said those words that made all the summons stop for a moment before looking at Errol, they nodded their heads.

”Let’s go then.”

Necros replied in his errie voice as he summoned his undead warriors and was about to rush.

”No. If you use force against him, then it would not work; instead, he would be even more angry.”

Errol stopped everyone from blindly rushing towards Ajax to fight them and said that he had a plan.

”Really?”

”What is it?”

All the elemental spirits and the contracted spirit beasts were excited when they heard Errol’s words because they didn’t have a single clue on how to turn back Ajax.

So, they stopped in their tracks to learn about how to help Ajax.

”Everyone, come closer.”

Errol asked everyone to move closer and soon, he explained his plan about how to turn Ajax back to his regular self.

While Errol was explaining the plan to Ajax’s elemental spirits and the contracted spirit beasts, all the demon fox tribesmen were already inside their tribe and prayed that their ancestor would help them.

Even though they didn’t know why their tribe leader asked them to hide from Ajax, they have faith in their tribe leader and at the same time, they have already seen how Ajax was able to stop the tribe leader Deon’s attack with a single hand.

So, they didn’t ask a single question and blindly followed it,

Soon, Errol explained the plan in a single breath.

”That’s it?”

Snow asked with a surprise on her face.
