Beast Taming Clan: I Have a Jade Book

The morning sun gently shines, and a light breeze lightly brushes by.

The Spring Tea is once again in full bloom, its fragrance spreading all around.

Ye Jingyun comes to the Spirit Field, patiently watering it with Spirit Water.

If other Cultivators saw this, they would likely be extremely surprised.

After all, he is the current acting Patriarch of the Ye Family, the actual leader of Taihang Commandery.

It’s somewhat an overuse of talents to tend to some tea that’s not even Tier One Lower.

But for Ye Jingyun, this is something he does every now and then.

Only when he waters the Spirit Tea does he feel all his pressures fade away, as the scope of the Ye Family nowadays is not small.

With Ye Jingli stationed at Cyan Willow Lake, Ye Jingyong at Taihang Market, Ye Qingyan at Taichang Market, the core members of the Ye Family are dispersed, and the tasks for the Ye Family are not light at all.

At the mountain top, there are Black Mushroom Fish, Blood Jade Eel, and many valuable Spirit Beasts, yet there’s no Purple Mansion Combat Power to guard the Clan Mountain. If a Tribulation Cultivator were to come, much of the foundations of the Ye Family could be destroyed.

Thus, even though his own cultivation has nearly reached a breakthrough, he still dares not enter seclusion to break through to the Late Stage of Foundation Establishment.

And at this moment, a Spirit Talisman suddenly arrives, landing in Ye Jingyun’s hand.

The next moment, Ye Jingyun is filled with joy and quickly flies out of the Clan Mountain.

Outside the Clan Mountain, there is a Spiritual Ship.

The Spiritual Ship is shrouded in an Array, so the people on it are not visible.

Yet when Ye Jingyun steps on, he sees Ye Jingyu and Ye Xingliu on the Spiritual Ship, along with over sixty other clan members. His eyes become somewhat teary for a moment.

Internally, he is overwhelmed with emotion, and after a long while, he finally utters a few words.

“Fourth Brother, Third Uncle!”

“Yes, the kid who used to only refine pills is now a significant figure in his own right!” Ye Xingliu laughs, praising from the heart.

Fostering the Jing Generation was his responsibility, but in truth, he hadn’t guided Jingyun much.

Yet all the deeds Ye Jingyun has done over the years have been impeccable, which naturally brings him great satisfaction.

A family is not just about anyone; only when generations continue can it be a vibrant family, a family with a future.

Even Ye Jingyu pats Ye Jingyun on the shoulder.

“Well done!”

The reunion with clan members is not overly elaborate or warm.

Even the sunlight is ordinary, the wind is gentle, and there are no Spiritual Rainbows or Beast Calls.

Simple as it is, it warms Ye Jingyun’s heart immensely.

This afternoon is so simple that he will always remember it.

“Third Uncle, Fourth Brother, into the mountain!” Ye Jingyun repeatedly invites them in.

However, due to many clan members lacking the Beast Communication Pattern, entering this time is particularly cautious.

Both Ye Jingyu and Ye Xingliu are supposedly dead; even though there’s no need to avoid Taiyi Sect or Tian Dao Sect now, caution is still required with Qinghe Sect.

Upon entering the Clan Mountain, even Ye Jingyu can’t help but spread his Divine Sense towards the mountain. That nostalgic gaze renders him somewhat lost.

His face shows a mix of joy and sorrow.

Years of absence have brought many changes to the Clan Mountain. The number of Lingyun Lakes has doubled, and there are many more courtyards on the mountainside; the Spirit Medicine within the Spirit Field grows more abundantly, and the Bamboo Forest has expanded wide and lush. Only the mountain stream flowing down remains as delightful as ever, producing its melodious sound.

And among the clansmen on the mountain, he finds he can’t name many.

It’s impossible for him to match them with the images from memory.

In the past, when he was at Lingyun Peak, all he’d see were from the Xing Generation and Jing Generation.

Now, on the Clan Mountain, most are from the Qing Generation and Yun Generation.

“Such change!” Ye Jingyu can’t help but exclaim, but he doesn’t pause, instead proceeding with Ye Jingyun’s lead, ascending Lingyun Lake.

Finally, they stop by the Black Mushroom Fish, Blood Jade Eel, and Cyan Jade Lotus.

He couldn’t help but touch the water and feed some Spirit Fish and Blood Eels.

“Good! Good! Good!”

He finally utters ’good’ three times.

This is his recognition of the clansmen, as well as his recognition of Ye Jingyun, and more importantly, his recognition of Ye Jingcheng.

“Fourth Brother, regarding your return to the acting patriarch position…” Ye Jingyun starts but is immediately interrupted by Ye Jingyu.

“Old Jiu, even if it were me, I might not do better than you. Lingyun Peak indeed needs you, but seeing your stable cultivation, go into seclusion with peace; I’ll handle the acting patriarch duties in your stead!” Ye Jingyu senses that on Lingyun Peak, there aren’t others in the Ye Family capable of holding up the mantle.

Feeling Ye Jingyun’s intent to step down as he starts speaking, Ye Jingyu firmly decides it for him and then looks towards Ye Xingliu.

“Father, you also should enter seclusion; when our Ye Family achieves that, more Purple Mansions will be necessary!”

“Hmm!” Previously, Ye Xingliu was full of emotion, nostalgia, and reminiscence.

But hearing Ye Jingyu say this, he nods.

If the Ye Family becomes a Nascent Soul Clan, they will naturally need to expand, and the Ye Family has never been confined to one place.

They will naturally also need more High-Tier Cultivators.

Once everything settles, Ye Jingyu takes out the Clan Token, not just sending messages to a few but to many clansmen!

The arrival of the Hidden Peak race of the Ye Family didn’t cause much of a ripple, but it clearly made the whole Lingyun Peak more vibrant and vigorous.

The blazing sun seemed more glaring.

All over the mountain, many were entering seclusion.

…

Cyan Willow Lake, Cyan Willow Mountain.

In an Earth Fire Room, Ye Jingli opens the Artifact Refining Furnace.

Seeing three Five-Colored Bone Fire Beads emerge, he is instantly full of joy.

He places all three Bone Fire Beads into a Jade Box for safekeeping and then takes out the Clan Token.

Upon receiving the messages from Ye Jingyu and Ye Jingyun.

His eyes can’t help but light up in a smile, and he pauses there for some time.

He also recalled various things from the past, but finally, looking at Ye Jingyu’s last four large characters, he took out a cup of wine from his bosom.

He drank it heartily and called out loudly:

“See you at the peak!”

Then he used transmission to communicate with the rest of the clan, arranged matters at Cyan Willow Mountain, and entered the cave abode, hanging up the plaque.

Today, he began seclusion, and he would not leave the cave abode until he broke through to the late stage of Foundation Establishment!

…

In Taihang Market and Taichang Market, Ye Jingyong and Ye Qingyan were almost simultaneously looking at their clan tokens in this manner.

One had already arranged family matters, while the other had refined enough spirit pills.

They smiled; they knew that perhaps after their seclusion and breakthrough, the Ye Family might become a Nascent Soul Clan!

After murmuring ’See you at the peak’ to themselves, they also hung up their seclusion plaques and went into seclusion in their rooms.

…

In a certain Mortal Realm, a middle-aged man took off his merchant robe.

The two years of training had not made him more mature or better at management.

But these two years of training had allowed him to understand one thing.

Managing the family was not his strong suit.

His real strengths were his Thunder Spirit Root, his Beast Communication Pattern,

and his spirit beast and cultivation talent.

“Perhaps Eleventh Brother had been hinting at me all along!” Ye Jing Hu thought of how Ye Jingcheng had repeatedly directed him to the Hidden Peak to meditate in seclusion.

This was clearly to quell his restless thoughts.

Not everyone is suited to be the Patriarch, and he shouldn’t obsess over the patriarchal position.

What he should focus on is cultivation.

Only by becoming strong is his most important task.

Ye Jing Hu also grasped the clan token, looking at the news from the family.

“I hope it’s not too late!” Ye Jing Hu flew towards Lingyun Peak.

If he couldn’t break through before the Earth Dragon Demon King did, he felt he might miss even more opportunities.

As for the Heart Demon Tribulation, he had already made all the necessary preparations.

This time, he was determined to break into the Purple Mansion!

He wanted to tell everyone that he was Ye Jing Hu!

…

In the Desert Sea, at the Celestial Phoenix Oasis, in front of a large lake, an elder walked in once more.

The elder also held two pill bottles in his hand.

He stood by the lakeside for a long while.

The lake surface showed no reaction.

It wasn’t until the elder cast a spirit technique that ripples began to spread across the lake.

As the ripples receded, two turtle heads emerged.

The Wood Head and Water Head seemed larger now, their aura seemingly more concentrated.

After all, they were in a Tier Five Spiritual Vein, with good spirit beasts and spirit pills to consume.

Under such circumstances, if they still made no progress, it would indeed reflect poorly on the Demon King.

“Ye Xuefan, why have you been the one feeding pills all these years, where is our master?” The Wood Head finally asked.

It was dull, but with so many visits, it had become clear that it might be related to that strange spirit pattern.

Thus, today it deliberately waited for a while.

It was only after Ye Xuefan urged with a spirit talisman that it surfaced.

As the Wood Head spoke, the Water Head nodded in agreement and asked:

“Yes, where is our master?”

“Your master has gone into seclusion!” Ye Xuefan replied.

Then he put away the two bottles of spirit pills and left immediately, his figure quickly vanishing by the Spirit Lake.

This left the Two-headed Turtle Demon King momentarily stunned.

“Old Wood, did we say something wrong?” The Water Head hesitated slightly at this moment.

To be honest, their current life was much better than when they were in the East Sea.

They didn’t have to live in constant fear, didn’t need to spend time searching for food.

The Spiritual Vein was still a Tier Five Spiritual Vein; it was something they couldn’t even dream of before.

The most crucial thing was that the soul-powering power made them feel as though their very divine souls were evolving.

They could naturally sense the difference in the Ye Family; among the demon beasts in the Ye Family, they could even be called the Turtle Ancestor.

Moreover, that turtle was clearly weaker than them.

“Perhaps!” The Wood Head was also somewhat regretful.

It had actually wanted to propose some conditions but didn’t expect Ye Xuefan to leave immediately, not giving them much of a chance to speak.

It, too, wanted the name of Turtle Ancestor.

After all, with the title of Turtle Ancestor, the Ye Family would be hard-pressed to discard them later.

As for Ye Jingcheng, they could see that the spirit beast Ye Jingcheng focused on cultivating was not them.

“What should we do?” The Water Head was momentarily stunned.

“What else?” The Wood Head shot it a glance before sinking to the bottom of the lake.

“Wait for next time!” The Wood Head said irritably, then submerged into the lake.

It began to swallow spirit fish from the lake.

Suddenly, countless sea vines entwined themselves everywhere, and in no time, several Red Section Fish fell into its mouth.

The Water Head, seeing this, was not slow either, it operated the water vortex to attract spirit fish into its mouth.

Of course, what they didn’t see was Ye Xuefan, concealed by the array, observing from the shadows!
