My father sold me to the Mafia King

Chapter 413

Julie’s point of view

I froze instantly, a cold shock paralyzing my chest. *Could that monster really have gone and bragged to him about every detail, despite all the rejections and insults I threw in his face?!*

I dragged together the scattered pieces of my composure, forcing my tear-filled eyes to lock onto his pitch-black gaze.

”And are you fucking happy about it?!” I asked, my chest heaving against the mattress. ”Does that satisfy you?!”

He kept his hard, unyielding glare locked on my pale face, his voice flat and completely devoid of warmth:

”What truly satisfies me, Julie... is watching you transform into a professional whore.”

”That will never fucking happen!” I yelled back, my chin held high despite my ruin. ”Never! Do you hear me?!”

Only then did the harsh reality strike me I was lying completely naked before him. My skin flushed with a sudden, agonizing wave of embarrassment. I instinctively curled my knees inward, trying to cover myself as best as I could with my bound limbs.

”Untie me right fucking now,” I demanded through gritted teeth.

A cruel, twisted smirk pulled at the corner of his lips as his eyes raked over my bound frame. ”Did he really tie you up like an animal?”

A sharp, infuriating laugh burst from his chest, shaking his shoulders. ”Did you play the role of a obedient little pet for him, Julie? For God’s sake...”

Before the laugh could even leave his mouth, I gathered every last drop of rage burning inside my gut and spat straight into the middle of his face!

His laughter cut off in a split second.

With agonizing slowness, he reached into his suit jacket, pulled out a silk handkerchief, and wiped his cheek with deadpan composure. His dark eyes flickered toward me, his voice dangerously quiet:

”Did you just spit on me?”

A trembling, mocking smile spread across my own bruised lips. I leaned my head back against the headboard, staring him down:

”What’s the matter?” I asked, my voice dripping with bitter sarcasm. ”Did I hurt your precious fucking pride?! You remember damn well that I’ve spat on you before... don’t you?”

His jaw tightened, his voice dropping to a low rumble that dripped with a dark promise:

”This rebellion of yours will only make your torment so much worse, Julie.”

A poisonous smile spread slowly across his lips as he added, ”And the torment of your brother, Steve, as well.”

I recoiled in horror, a gasp of pure terror tearing from my throat:

”Don’t you fucking dare touch my brother!” I shrieked, thrashing against my restraints.

He slipped the silk handkerchief back into his suit jacket with agonizing slowness. ”That depends entirely on your obedience.”

I swallowed the bitter lump rising in my throat, my head dropping back against the headboard in broken surrender. ”I’ll obey you...” I choked out, tears stinging my eyes. ”...just don’t hurt him.”

He twisted his lips into a cold, humorless smirk. ”We’ll see about that.”

”Untie me then!” I spat out, my chest heaving with desperate humiliation. ”I’m completely naked like this!”

His dark eyes swept over my exposed body, completely devoid of any emotion or heat. ”Naked, really?” He asked, his voice flat and mocking. ”I hadn’t noticed at all.”

Suddenly, the heavy metal door handle clicked, and the door swung open as one of the guards burst inside!

The guard froze dead in his tracks, his eyes widening in instant terror as he lowered his gaze, his breath hitching frantically:

”I’m so sorry, sir, for God’s sake!” He stammered out, taking a frantic step back. ”I didn’t know you were in here”

Before the guard could even take another step backward, the sharp, muffled pop of a silenced gunshot cracked through the silence of the room!

The guard collapsed onto the floorboards like a sack of lead, dead before he even hit the ground, his warm blood pooling quickly over the cold carpet!

Robert didn’t even blink. With a swift, fluid motion, he ripped the silk bedsheet from underneath me and wrapped it tightly around my bare frame, completely covering me just as two armed guards rushed through the doorway.

Robert turned on his heel, his voice dropping into a dry, chilling command:

”Get him out of here. Right now.”

The two men grabbed the corpse by its shoulders and dragged it away, leaving a dark streak of blood across the floor.

”Why the hell did you kill him?!” I gasped out, my voice high and frantic with horror. My eyes darted back and forth between the bloodstain soaking into the cold rug and the doorway where the body had just vanished.

Robert turned his face back toward me with agonizing slowness. His dark eyes locked onto mine, completely devoid of a single trace of emotion, his voice biting and icy:

”Because he saw what a fucking dog like him had no right to see.”

My eyes widened in utter disbelief. A bitter, hysterical laugh broke from my throat:

”You’re so sick and hypocritical, Robert, for God’s sake!” I spat out, tears of rage burning my eyes. ”Mr. X saw me and fucked me for a whole damn hour! He took every single inch of my body exactly the way you wanted him to... So why the hell are you losing your mind and murdering your own guard just because he accidentally caught a glimpse of me?!”

Robert pinned his pitch-black gaze onto mine, his features remaining hard as marble without a single micro-expression. He took one heavy, deliberate step toward the bed, leaning down until his shadow completely swallowed me.

His voice dropped into a low, terrifying hiss, dripping with poison:

”Because Mr. X paid for what he saw and took, Julie...” He whispered, his jaw set firm. ”...He bought his right for the night with his money and his power. But that filthy piece of shit dared to lay eyes on something he couldn’t afford. And in my world... anyone who looks at something they can’t pay for pays with their whole fucking life instead.”
